The study aims to recognizing the concepts of knowledge economy and the roles of faculty members in the light ofknowledge economy from the perspectives of its members, it was clear that the concept of the knowledge economywas high, it was (2.7,) and there were differences in years of experience in favor of (1-5 years) class, and in favor ofthe associate teacher in the educational degree, and the university in favor of Bier Ziet University. Whereas the meanof the faculty members’ roles was (2.26) with differences in gender in favor of the females and as for the university,in was in favor of Bier Ziet University.

The study aimed at identifying the degree of applying the visual management strategies and the obstacles of applying them in the public universities in Riyadh region in light of the vision of the Kingdom in 2030. In addition, it aimed at identifying the statistical significance differences on the implementation of the visual management strategies from the point of view of department heads according to the variables of gender, Years of service). The researcher followed the descriptive approach. The study community is composed of all department directors at the public universities in Riyadh, specifically King Saud University, Princess Norah Bint Abdul Rahman University, and Saudi Electronic University. The sample of the study was limited to a randomly selected sample of 137 department heads in the public universities under study. The tool consisted of a two-pronged questionnaire, namely the degree of application of the visual management strategies. It includes three sub-axes (rules of operation, disinfection, and elimination of waste), the second axis: obstacles to the implementation of visual management strategies. The results of the study came out with a number of results, the most important of which were: After the implementation of the business rules strategy, a total average of (3.74 of 5) was achieved with a grade of (large), followed by the clearance strategy with an average of (3.61 of 5) (3.53). The results indicated that there were statistically significant differences between the respondents' responses to the implementation of the visual management strategies of the heads of departments In the universities in question are due to the variables (gender, female favor, In addition to the number of years of experience and for the benefit of their experience 5 years than less. In addition, there were statistically significant differences between the responses of the sample members on the obstacles of visual administration in the heads of departments at King Saud University, Princess Nora University, In the Riyadh region in view of the vision of the Kingdom in 2030 due to the gender variable. And for the benefit of males. There were no statistically significant differences between the responses of the sample members on the obstacles of visual administration in the heads of departments due to the variable (years of experience, qualification). In the light of the results, a set of recommendations and proposals were presented to activate the implementation of the visual management strategies in the public universities in Riyadh and other Saudi universities in light of the vision of the Kingdom in 2030.

The objective of the research was to evaluate the performance of the teaching staff of the Baghdad and Salahaddin University-Erbil from the point of view of the heads of their departments in a number of different colleges as a comparative study. The research community was (247) individuals from the heads of departments in the above universities, and a sample size was chosen randomly was(197) unit, and (134) individuals from the department heads at the University of Baghdad, and (63) unit from the department heads at Salahaddin University-Erbil. To achieve the research objectives, a (closed — open) questionnaire was prepared consisting of (49) paragraphs distributed into six specific fields of alternatives. To answer it and one open question in the questionnaire, the validity and reliability of the questionnaire was verified. The data was analyzed using the (weighted mean equation, the percentage weight equation and the chi-square test). The results showed there was no differences between the responses of department heads in evaluating the teaching performance of faculty members in the research sample in two universities. In addition, a number of proposals were presented to develop the performance of faculty members from the point of view of department heads in both universities. The two researchers made a number of recommendations as well, as well as a number of proposals to conduct future research for researchers in this field.

The present study aimed at investigating alternative assessment (AA) within the Yemeni university EFL classrooms in terms of identifying the challenges of using AA to assess undergraduate EFL students from the perspectives of the faculty. Data were collected, through a questionnaire, from (66) lecturers and professors of different ranks who teach EFL at the collegiate level in two Yemeni public universities and one national university. The results of the study indicated that faculty members of English departments at Yemeni universities face some challenges of using AA to assess undergraduate EFL students. These challenges belong to various factors, including the instructional environment, the students, the management of Yemeni universities, the faculty members, or the nature of AA. Statistically significant differences were found in the mean scores according to years of experience variable between respondents with less than 5 years and those with 5-10 years of experience in favor of those with less than 5 years of experience, but not according to the type of university, gender, and specialization variables. Accordingly, some recommendations were given to address the identified challenges, which might lead to a better implementation of AA in Yemeni university EFL classrooms.

The study aimed to assess the performance of the Palestinian universities administrations in the Gaza Strip match with the principles of corporate governance and some standards of excellence from the viewpoint of the faculty members, the study used a descriptive and analytical approach, were applied a questionnaire consisting of (31) items on a sample consisting of the number of study (292) faculty member teaching, selected a stratified random manner relative of universities (Al-Azhar , Islamic, and maximum), and increased by 30.2%, in the second semester 2015/2016 m. The results revealed that the study sample approval on the reality of Excellence Palestinian universities education management in the light of the application of the principles of corporate governance at universities in Gaza as a whole amounted to (3.73), as a percentage of (74.72%) significantly, came the scope of participation the first prize with a mean (4.27), and the proportion of a percentage of (85.4%) very much, and in the second area of transparency was an arithmetic mean was (3.92), and the percentage of (78.4%) significantly, and in third place the field of effectiveness and efficiency came an arithmetic mean was (3.76), and the percentage of (75.2%) significantly, and in the fourth field Rashadh The decision-making with a mean was (3.41), and the percentage of (68.2%) significantly, and in last place the field of competitiveness came with a mean was (3.32), as a percentage of (66.4 %) moderately. The findings revealed that there were no statistically significant differences in the study sample estimates of the degree of evaluating the performance of the Palestinian universities administrations in the Gaza Strip match with the principles of corporate governance and some standards of excellence from the viewpoint of faculty members attributed to the sex variable and variable universities differences, while found statistically significant differences in the sample members study estimates due to the variable years of experience for the benefit of years of experience of 11 years and above. The study made a number of recommendations.

This paper analyses the level of awareness of ICT among the faculty members of Siddha colleges in Tamil Nadu. Data has been collected through the questionnaire distributed to the faculty members of three Government Siddha colleges in Tamil Nadu. The results of the study show that the faculty members of Siddha colleges in Tamil Nadu have good familiarity with internet since most of them had learnt about internet by self-learning and through their friends. Also it is found that the faculty members have more than 2 years of experience in the use of internet. The respondents also feel the importance of internet in research to a greater extent.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the perceptions of faculty members at Al al-Bayet University regarding the role of media education in building up students’ dispositions. The study further examined the impact of the variables of gender, type of college and years of experience on participants’ responses. This study used the quantitative research methodology. The study population consisted of all faculty members, 316 male and 88 female. A total of 252 faculty members completed and returned the questionnaires. The results of the study have revealed that media education plays an important role in building up the cognitive, the affective, and the behavioral components of the students’ dispositions. While no statistically significant differences were found due to gender and type of college, there were differences due to years of experience in the participants’ responses. Based on the results of the study, several recommendations were offered, including conducting seminars and workshops for faculty members, conducting more studies on media education and its impact on teaching learning process, and integrating a course in media education within the curricula of universities.

The aim of this study is to reveal the degree of job satisfaction among faculty members in special education departments in the southern region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its relation to some variables. The study society is composed of faculty members in special education departments in the universities of the southern region of the Kingdom in the first semester of the year 2016/2017 and the sample reached (32) members. The researcher prepared a questionnaire consisting of (29) paragraphs distributed over (4) dimensions. The results of the study showed that the degree of job satisfaction of the faculty members on the tool as a whole was medium, and the degree was medium on the four dimensions of the tool. The results showed that there were no differences in the degree of job satisfaction according to the gender variable and the university variable. While there were differences in the degree of job satisfaction according to the variable years of experience.
