This study intends to develop and design a web for dance learning for high school students. This design-based research focuses on two problems, namely (1) the concept of a dance website design which is expected to be suitable for use as a medium for learning dance in the current pandemic era, and (2) the effectiveness of the dance website that is developed as a digital literacy source that can be used as a medium for learning dance in senior high schools. The research method used in this research is design-based research (DBR) with research stages that include design process, design development, evaluation, and design revision. Data collection techniques were carried out by interview and document study. Data analysis was carried out by combining qualitative and quantitative methods. The results show that the website design developed is relevant to the needs and online-based student learning methods needed during the current Covid-19 pandemic. After going through the validation and testing process, the website design developed can be applied properly. The website developed is easily accessible by students and teachers to support the implementation of dance learning that takes place online. Access mechanisms, material structure, content, and existing supporting features can be used as a means of technology literacy education for students.

In the present study, Nutrition knowledge scale has been constructed and standardized of the High School Students. This scale consists of 54 statements. The simple random sample technique was used for this study. The sample consists of 50 High School Students are randomly selected from the Kancheepuram Districts. The ‘t’ value was sued to standardize the tool and finally 29 statements were retained for the final study.

Digital literacy promotes students’ competitiveness and better opportunity in today’s digital world and in the fourth industrial revolution (FIRe). This descriptive-survey research determined the digital literacy of science, technology, engineering & mathematics (STEM) senior high school students. A total of 130 respondents from two state-owned public high schools in Zambales, Philippines answered the digital literacy survey questionnaire. Results revealed that a typical STEM respondent came from school B, aged between 15-17, female and currently Grade 11. The STEM students are digitally literate to some extent in terms of access and evaluation of information; utilization and management of information; media analysis; creation of media products; effective application of technology; and interaction through technology. There is a significant difference in the extent of digital literacy of students when grouped according to sex and grade level. Moderate significant relationship exists across all domains digital literacy. The study recommends the implementation of the proposed digital literacy working group to enhance students’ digital proficiency and to equip them with the challenges of the FIRe. Teachers may likewise utilize digital devices and information effectively and responsibly towards developing digitally literate citizens.

Information security in the context of digital literacy is a digital skill that enables safe and purposeful movement through virtual space. Due to rapid and unstoppable technological progress, multiplying opportunities and pushing the boundaries of digital technology and the Internet, the interest of the state and institutions within the state is to raise digital competencies of citizens, with special emphasis on children and youth as the most vulnerable groups of Internet users. The age limit and frequency of use of the Internet by young generations has been moved back a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the concern for information security of young people is increasingly emphasized. If, and to what extent, knowledge of the issue of identification and authentication affects the information security of high school students aged 16 to 19 in the virtual space, the research question addressed by the authors of this paper was to determine which student behaviors pose a potential danger compromising their information security by establishing a correlation between the variables that determine student behavior and the variables used to examine their level of security in a virtual environment. The research was conducted using a questionnaire on a sample of high school students in the Republic of Croatia, the results of which showed that some students practice behaviors that are potentially dangerous, make them vulnerable and easy targets of cyber predators and attackers, which is why there is cause for concern and a need for a additional education of children of primary and secondary school age in the field of information security in the form of the introduction of the subject Digital Literacy. Based on the results, a model for assessing the level of digital literacy of adolescents that affect information literacy can be designed, but also further related research in the field of information literacy of children and youth can be conducted.

This study aims to examine the effects of digital science scrapbook on students’ science visual literacy. Digital science scrapbook was designed to teach junior high school students, and the instrument was designed to measure the level of visual literacy before and after the treatment. This study employed a quasi-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. The population was junior high school students. The convenience sampling method was chosen to carry out the pilot study on 25 students in SMP 9 Salatiga. The visual literacy course was based on the ACRL Visual Literacy Competency Standards. The differences in visual literacy levels were measured through 30 items of the visual literacy test. After conducting paired sample t-test on the data, differences between pretest and posttest were found. From the findings, significant differences in pretest and posttest scores were found. It can be concluded that digital science scrapbook is effective to train digital literacy in science. The novelty of this research is the use of digital science scrapbook on students’ science visual literacy.
