The stakeholder approach has been, since the decade of 1980, one of the most relevant theories to understand the relationship that is established between the different groups that intertwine in everyday’s managerial practices of an organization. Such theory is relevant to comprehend school’s managerial process, since schools are constituted by stakeholders who long for their expectations to be met. This study aims at understanding how managerial practices of basic public schools, in relations with their interest groups (principal, supervisors, teachers, pedagogues, general service assistant, administrative officers, patrimonial agents, students’ parents), take place. A multicase study was carried out in four schools, data were collected from documents, direct observation and evaluated by means of the content analysis technique, based on categories from Chanlat’s (1996) participative management. Some findings were: (i) some stakeholders didn’t know or participated in school management, (ii) the need to engage the community to access resources, (iii) conflicting goals regarding stakeholders and the school, (iv) the need to strengthen the communication among stakeholders to make the control and evaluation system more effective, (v) how it’s necessary to engage stakeholders in the managerial process to obtain certain advantages.

In this paper we describe the use of a specific decision analysis tool, multiattribute utility analysis, to investigate conflicting goals in the management of salmon on the Skeena River. We used this technique to determine the preferences of 10 individuals representing several interest groups and different management agencies. It is shown how individuals differ in their preferences, how conflicts can be identified, and how decision analysis can be used to refine an individual's understanding of his preferences. Individuals assessed possible outcomes of different alternative enhancement proposals using two techniques, the decision analysis technique and an intuitive approach. These two methods produced different results. The use of these techniques in the management process is discussed.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Harga dan Brand Trust Terhadap Keputusan Pembelian pada Sinergy Celular Medan.Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pengunjung Sinergy Celular Medan sebanyak 77 orang.Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah melalui kuesioner (angket) yaitu dengan cara menyebarkan kuesioner kepada sampel (responden) dan mengumpulkannya kembali. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Regresi Linear Berganda.Sebelum data diregresikan maka terlebih dahulu di uji keterkaitannya antara variabel, datanya diuji menggunakan uji normalitas data, multikolinearitas, dan heterokedastisitas.Serta untuk mengetahui kontribusi faktor Harga dan Brand TrustTerhadap Keputusan Pembelian digunakan rumus Koefisien Determinasi (R2). Hipotesis penelitian diterima apabila t hitung >  t tabel dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,1. Nilai t tabel dalam penelitian ini 1,993. Nilai t hitung variabel X1 sebesar 2,107 t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel maka hipotesis di terima, nilai t hitung variabel X2   sebesar 3,405 t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel maka hipotesis di terima. Kata kunci: Harga, Brand Trust, Keputusan Pembelian AbstractThis study aims to determine the Influence of Price and Brand Trust on Purchasing Decision at Sinergy Celular Medan. Data analysis technique used is Multiple Linear Regression. Before the data is diregresikan then first in the test the relationship between variables, the data tested using the test of data normality, multicollinearity, and heterokedastisitas. And to know the contribution of price factors and Brand Trust Against Purchase Decision is used the formula Coefficient of Determination (R2). Research hypothesis accepted if t arithmetic> t table with significance level 0,1. The value of t table in this study is 1,993. This article describe about The relationship between the school and the community is very influential in improving the behavior of students. Public relations as a liaison from the school and the community must always be maintained properly because the school will always be associated with the community, cannot be separated from it as a school partner in achieving the success of the school itself. The high participation of parents in school education is one of the characteristics of good school management, meaning that the extent to which the community can be empowered in the education process in schools is an indicator of the management of the school in question.

The purpose of this paper is to examine the relationships to which leadership style (task and relations oriented leadership) moderate the impact of conflict on employee performance. Data were collected from 92 employees in different job levels. Partial least squares variance-based structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) was used to test the relationship in the models. The results showed that task and relation conflict was associated with employee performance. The research findings also showed that leadership styles moderated the relationship between conflict and employee performance. This study offers implications for managerial practices. In July 2011, the State of Michigan adopted a broad set of teacher labor market reforms, including a high-stakes evaluation system designed in part to remove low-performing teachers. We examine the characteristics of teachers rated as “minimally effective” and “ineffective,” as well as their schools, and the relationship between low effectiveness ratings and later employment outcomes. Results suggest teachers of color across traditional and charter schools are more likely to receive low effectiveness ratings than their within-school peers. These low rating risks are higher for teachers of color working in comparatively White-faculty contexts. Male and novice teachers are also rated low more frequently, and important differences appear to exist in the usage of low ratings by traditional public and charter schools.

AbstractThis research analyses the internalizing and externalizing symptoms and the coping strategies of young victims of abuse. These young people are in residential care under protective measures due to abuse. The participants were 61 youths (32 male and 29 female) between 12 and 17 years of age. Different works of research stress the need for an early identification of the psychopathological symptomatology that these adolescents may present in order to provide an adequate psycho-educational intervention. The relationship between the adolescents’ psychopathological symptomatology and the coping strategies and styles they use to resolve problems is studied. It is also analyzed whether internalizing and externalizing problems predict the style and coping strategies of adolescents. Two tests were used: 1. Child and Adolescent Evaluation System (SENA); 2. Adolescent Coping Scales (ACS). The results indicate that young victims of abuse have internalizing and externalizing symptoms. These adolescents are characterized by an unproductive coping style, as well as by the use of coping strategies that are not very functional and ineffective for resolving conflicts. The psychopathological symptomatology is related to and predicts an unproductive coping style, badly adapted to solving daily problems (worrying, blaming oneself, not coping, ignoring the problem, or keeping it to oneself). This research has allowed us to identify the presence of several areas of vulnerability in these young persons which could be playing an important role in their psychosocial maladjustment. The research suggests the design of intervention strategies, for both groups and individuals, aimed at mitigating and modifying the sources of the problems in victims of child abuse.

Abstract The paper analyzes the relations between the government and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) during the COVID-19 pandemic in Israel. The paper presents the inconsistent policy of the government, which has been influenced by various interest groups and the very limited financial support allocated to CSOs during the health, economic and social crisis. The paper describes the government’s alienated attitude toward the CSOs as well as the reasons for that behavior. Special attention is devoted to the government’s misunderstanding of the mission and roles of CSOs in modern society, especially at times of crisis and national disasters. The paper also analyzes the organizational and strategic behavior of CSOs toward the government, which has also contributed to the alienated attitude of the government toward them. I argue that relations between CSOs and the government should be based on more trust, mutuality, and understanding on the part of both actors in order to change power-dependence relations, and that there is a need to establish more cross-sectoral partnerships for the benefit of citizens.

Keywords: discourse analysis, general will, Latvian politics, political representation, Saeima Latvian citizens are characterised by a very low level of political activism. How can this be explained through an understanding of politics? Prior to the 2018 Saeima (Latvian parliament) election, voters were interviewed on Latvian television discussing the pronouncements of various members of parliament. The researcher explores the relationship between the comments of these voters and the way they feel their interests are being represented by the state’s law makers. Throughout the interviews, voters are critical of Saeima, yet they fail to clearly explain their interests. The generally agreed upon duty of MPs is to discover the general will of the people, and attempt to fulfil this will through law making. In Latvia, the concept of forming interest groups representing the desires of various groups of citizens to create public expressions of their opinions is not considered a viable resource for political action. The citizens being interviewed believe that they cannot expect to have their interests represented by Saeima and prefer individual strategies focused on non-political action.

Abstract : Contract employees are employees who work at the company with a certain time limit, and can be dismissed at any time, this affects employees' perceptions of career development at the company and also affects employee commitment to the company. This study aims to examine the relationship between perceptions of career development and organizational commitment for contract employees. Perceptions of career development variables and organizational commitment were measured using a scale. The subjects of this study were 48 contract employees, with the determination of the sample based on accidental sampling. The analysis technique used in this research is quantitative analysis using Karl Pearson's product moment with SPSS version 20 for Windows. Based on the research results, it is known that the perception of career development with organizational commitment on contract employees. There is a significant positive correlation (r.0.813 with sig <0.05) between the variable perceptions of career development and organizational commitment for contract employees, namely 0.000 and the significance value is below / less than 0.05, this means that the higher (positive) the perception of career development, the higher employee commitment to the company and vice versa, the lower (negative) perceptions of employee career development, the lower employee commitment to the company. On the perception of career development has the most categories at low (negative) with a contribution of 50% and organizational commitment at most has a low category with contributions 46%.   Keywords:   Contract Employees, Organizational Commitment, Perceptions of Career Development.   Abstrak : Karyawan kontrak merupakan karyawan yang bekerja di perusahaan dengan batasan waktu tertentu dan sewaktu-waktu dapat diberhentikan, hal ini mempengaruhi persepsi karyawan terhadap pengembangan karirnya pada perusahaan tersebut dan juga mempengaruhi komitmen karyawan pada perusahaannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan persepsi pengembangan karir terhadap komitmen organisasi pada karyawan kontrak. Variabel persepsi pengembangan karir dan komitmen organisasi diukur dengan menggunakan skala. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 48 karyawan kontrak , dengan penentuan sampel berdasarkan accidental sampling. Teknik analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis kuantitatif dengan menggunakan product moment karl pearson dengan program SPSS versi 20 for Windows. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwa persepsi pengembangan karir dengan komitmen organisasi pada karyawan kontrak, ada korelasi positif yang signifikan (r.0.813 dengan sig < 0.05) antara variabel persepsi pengembangan karir  dengan komitmen organisasi pada karyawan kontrak yaitu 0.000 dan nilai signifikansinya dibawah/lebih kecil 0.05, ini berarti bahwa semakin tinggi (positif) persepsi pengembangan karir maka semakin tinggi komitmen karyawan pada perusahaannya begitu sebaliknya semakin rendah (negatif) persepsi pengembangan karir karyawan maka semakin rendah komitmen karyawan pada perusahaannya. Pada persepsi pengembangan karir memiliki kategori paling banyak pada tingkat rendah (negatif) dengan kontribusi 50% dan komitmen organisasi paling banyak memiliki kategori rendah dengan kontribusi 46%.   Kata Kunci :  Karyawan Kontrak, Komitmen Organisasi, Persepsi Pengembangan Karir
