The method of this study was quantitative research with a survey design. The instrument used was a set of questionnaire which consisted of 24 statements. Two hundred thirty-five teachers involved in this research. The findings of the analysis showed that 85% of the teachers find it difficult in managing the learning at schools because most of the students do not have laptops, 87% of the teachers said that it is difficult to get in touch with the students for having low signal and wasteful of using data packages because many students lived far from urban areas. Teachers are deemed ineffective because as many as 83.5% of teachers stated that their students are not familiar with online before the COVID-19 Pandemic. The conclusion is that it is clear from various points of view that COVID-19 is a disaster that affects almost all sectors of human life, including teaching. However, it cannot be denied that the Pandemic of COVID-19 also provides educational institutions with the opportunity to become technology literate. The problem and the goal. Informatization and computerization of society has affected almost all types of human life, including the scope of receiving and providing services. The rarity of online shopping at the beginning of the 21st century has become something commonplace that many people face almost every day, and some of them don’t remember the last time they stood in line at the cash register. Drastic changes have affected other types of services, such as banking services, services for registration, the provision of documentation and so on. Every day, a huge number of services becomes available remotely, and users who are faced with this every day easier to adapt to new conditions. Russia is one of the countries in the list of 10 countries actively using the electronic method of providing services. One of the most used types of electronic resources are services providing services related to the payment of taxes and fines, enrollment of children in kindergarten, obtaining banking services, etc. [17]. For some people living in social isolation, it may be difficult to use the designated information resources. For example, for students in closed educational institutions, such as orphanages, boarding schools and other similar organizations. In such institutions, students for the most part of their time are isolated from society and cannot be active participants in all processes taking place in society [14]. The use of an information service that can act as an aggregator of electronic services and accompanying information to them can contribute to the information adaptation of orphans. Methodology. Consideration of the problem of information adaptation and the reasons for its occurrence in orphaned children allowed to build the necessary conditions for its solution, such as: attracting specialists with experience in helping social adaptation of orphans, development of an information service corresponding to the declared functionality, approbation of the information service to help in the information adaptation of orphans. Results. During the consideration of the problem, the topics of the information service sections were determined and their content with information content was planned. As a result, a work plan was developed, and the most pressing issues were identified. Conclusion. The developed strategy for solving the problem of information adaptation of orphans can help with further development and testing of the designated service, as well as its implementation in the work of specialists in social adaptation of orphans.

PurposeAlthough a burgeoning body of literature has established the influence of hope and employee creativity, the debate on the relative importance of hope and its components of pathway and agency on its outcomes has not been clarified. Literature has it that hope and its individual components of pathway and agency have a varying magnitude of influence on its outcomes. Some scholars argue that agency and pathway components better predict its outcomes than overall hope. The current study establishes the relative importance of hope and its components on creativity using evidence from Makerere University, Uganda.Design/methodology/approachThe study adopted a cross-sectional quantitative survey design to collect data from the academic staff of Makerere University. The study used usefulness analysis to establish the relative importance of the predictor variables on the dependent variable.FindingsThe study findings revealed that agency and hope components of hope significantly predicted creativity. Overall, hope also significantly predicted creativity. Regarding relative importance, hope turned out to be the most “useful” predictor of creativity, followed by its components of agency and pathway.Research limitations/implicationsThe study was conducted in a public university setting located in urban areas. The findings may not be generalizable to private settings due to variations in the teacher's creative behaviour with variation in the creative environment. The study was also cross-sectional, which may not yield results of changing employee creativity over time. Further studies should establish the link between hope and creativity using a longitudinal survey to compare employee creativity using data collected at different intervals.Originality/valueThe value of the current study is both theoretical and empirical. Theoretically, the study findings enrich the hope theory by revealing the relative importance of hope on its outcomes over and above its components. The study also confirms the assertions of the dual pathway to creativity model by revealing that employees who are rich in hope components of agency and pathway have the cognitive flexibility to pursue creative goals and, when faced with failure, can generate alternative solutions to solve work problems.

The menace of cultism in Nigeria society in general and our educational institutions in particular has reached an alarming stage that requires affirmative actions from all stakeholders. The scourge of cultism has claimed many lives of our youths and no serious authority can fold its arms and allow it to continue. It appears that the various efforts at curbing the menace have yielded no result. The corruption in most facets of our national life has finally subdued the educational institutions, which used to be the pride of place in the past. Most families are astonished to find out that children sent to school to learn and become better human beings in the society have initiated themselves into cult groups. The emergency of secret cultism has been characterized by some violent activities which include, physical torture of new recruits, maiming and killing of rival cult members and elimination of real and perceived enemies. Nigeria, Africa's most populous country, is composed of more than 250 ethnic groups with 36 states and one federal territory (Abuja). There are three major religions namely Islam (50%), Christianity (40%), and Africa Indigenous Religions (10%). The effect of globalization is also making other new religious movements to be making inroads into Nigeria. Nigeria has a population of about 141 million people (2006 census). Nigeria which is rich in both human and material resources is a country that is facing a lot of developmental challenges in almost all sectors due to poor leadership. The menace of cultism especially among youths and some influential people in the society represents one of the distortion facing the popular ‘giant’ of Africa. The aim of this chapter is to bring into the fore the menace of cultism in modern Nigeria as a brand of terrorism mind not the fact that there are even religious cults in both the developed and developing societies. The paper also adopted an Islamic lens to provide an analysis of the terror of cultism in contemporary Nigeria.

Subject. The article considers functioning and development of process flows of transportation and logistics system of a smart city. Objectives. The study identifies factors and dependencies of the quality of human life on the organization and management of stream processes. Methods. I perform a comparative analysis of previous studies, taking into account the uniquely designed results, and the econometric analysis. Results. The study builds multiple regression models that are associated with stream processes, highlights interdependent indicators of temporary traffic and pollution that affect the indicator of life quality. However, the identified congestion indicator enables to predict the time spent in traffic jams per year for all participants of stream processes. Conclusions. The introduction of modern intelligent transportation systems as a component of the transportation and logistics system of a smart city does not fully solve the problems of congestion in cities at the current rate of urbanization and motorization. A viable solution is to develop cooperative and autonomous intelligent transportation systems based on the logistics approach. This will ensure control over congestion, the reduction of which will contribute to improving the life quality of people in urban areas.

This paper aims to reflect an effort to identify the problems associated with the educational learning process, as well as its function to express some inherent considerations to the most effective forms of the classroom management. Mentioned in this discussion are ways of management for various categories of students, not only from an intellectual level, but also by their behavior. Also, in the elaboration of this theme I was considering that in addition to other development directions of the country, an important place is occupied by the education of the younger generation in our school environments and especially in adopting the methods of teaching and learning management with a view to enable this generation to be competitive in the European labor market. This, of course, can be achieved by giving this generation the best values of behavior, cultural level, professional level and ethics one of an European family which we belong to, not just geographically. On such foundations, we have tried to develop this study, always improving the reality of the prolonged transition in the field of children’s education. Likewise, we have considered the factors that have left their mark on the structure, cultural level and general education level of children, such as high demographic turnover associated with migration from rural and urban areas, in the capacity of our educational institutions to cope with new situations etc. In the conclusions of this study is shown that there is required a substantial reform even in the pro-university educational system to ensure a significant improvement in the behavior of children, relations between them and the sound quality of their preparation. Used literature for this purpose has not been lacking, due to the fact that such problems are usually treated by different scholars. Likewise, we found it appropriate to use the ideas and issues discussed by the foreign literature that deals directly with classroom management problems. All the following treatise is intended to reflect the way of an effective classroom management.
