Innovation in learning is necessary to answer the challenges of education in the 21st century. Students who are prepared for the demands of this era will have a mindset to not only seek work but also to create work. Efforts to promote this mindset in students majoring in Development Economics is done by implementing learning innovations in entrepreneurship courses using the experience-based learning model adapted from David Kolbs (1981). This descriptive qualitative research was conducted to examine the innovation of learning using an experience-based learning model. This learning was expected to promote entrepreneurship values in the students based on local wisdom. The data were collected through in-depth interviews with and participant observation of Development Economics students who took the entrepreneurship course, and through the study of documents. This article aims to describe: the implementation of the SQ3R model to the ability to examine the characters contained in fiction texts in grade IV students of SDN Ganung Kidul 1 Nganjuk in the 2019/2020 Academic Year. This article is an descriptive qualitative research carried out through five stages, namely: (1) data collection; (2) determination of the sample; (3) recording data; (4) reduction; and (5) drawing conclusions. Data sources in this article are journals and books relating to the learning of the SQ3R model on learning to examine the characters contained in fiction texts. These data provide an overview of the application of the SQ3R model on the ability to examine the characters contained in fictional texts. Furthermore, the object of the research is the learning model SQ3R with a subject of 22 students. The conclusion of the article shows that: this SQ3R model is very good to be applied to the basic competencies of Indonesian language class IV semester II, namely the ability to examine the characters contained in fiction texts.

The purpose of the research was to know deeper about the concept of Madrasah tahfidz based Pesantren with 30 chapters of tahfidz al-Qur’an system and to know how the implementation of curriculum development of madrasah tahfidz based Pesantren (school boarding) in MITQ TBS Kudus, Central Java. The research was a descriptive-qualitative with phenomenological approach with data collection techniques: in-depth interviews, non-participant observation, and documentation. The analysis of the data was by reduction, display, and provided conclusions. The results showed (1) the concept of madrasah tahfidz based pesantren in MITQ TB Kudus, Central Java emphasized on the time allocation of tahfidz al-Qur’an with more portion such as 48 hours per week to reach tahfidz al-Qur'an 30 chapters, and (2) curriculum development of madrasah tahfidz  based Pesantren (school boarding) in TBS MITQ Kudus, Central Java included: diagnosis of needs, development of education purposes, curriculum of KTSP, curriculumof  Religion Ministry and the local curriculum (pesantren), learning experiences, and the development of curriculum evaluation.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui lebih mendalam mengenai konsep madrasah  tahfidz berbasis pesantren dengan sistem tahfidz al-Qur’an 30 juz serta mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaan pengembangan kurikulum madrasah tahfidz berbasis pesantren di MITQ TBS Kudus Jawa Tengah. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif-kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi dengan teknik pengumpulan data: wawancara mendalam, observasi non partisipan, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data melalui reduksi, display, dan memberikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) konsep madrasah tahfidz berbasis pesantren di MITQ TBS Kudus Jawa Tengah menekankan pada alokasi waktu tahfidz al-Qur’an dengan porsi lebih yaitu 48 jam perminggu untuk mencapai tahfidz al-Qur’an 30 juz, dan (2) pengembangan kurikulum madrasah tahfidz berbasis pesantren di MITQ TBS Kudus Jawa Tengah meliputi: diagnosis kebutuhan, pengembangan tujuan pendidikan, kurikulum KTSP, kurikulum Kementerian Agama dan kurikulum muatan lokal (pesantren), pengalaman belajar, dan pengembangan evaluasi kurikulum.

This study aims to describe an image of cooperative learning model application through constructive controversy method in building 21st century competencies towards English learning. This study uses descriptive qualitative which took place at the second grade of SMKN 1 Talaga, Majalengka. Collecting data is done by using observation, interview, and documentation. The results illustrate that the ability to communicate, collaborate, think critically, and creatively in students can be built through controversial issues which make them challenged to discuss actively, intensively, and comprehensively. The use of 'gambits' in form of asking and giving opinions is quite effective to encourage students to analyze (communicate actively and effectively) related to the issues raised, collaborate intensively on various ideas to make decisions, and formulate solutions by constructing ideas from various results of divergent thinking. Keywords: 21st century competencies; English learning; cooperative learning model; constructive controversy method; controversy issues

The political investors in the regional head election in Indonesia are an interesting phenomenon to be studied, as not all candidates for regional head, whether governors, regents, or mayors, have the capital to financially support their candidacy. Meanwhile, the nomination fee from has been increasing. For instance, in one of the regencies in Indonesia, the cost has reached 30 billion rupiah. This provides opportunities for regional head candidates to be financed by other people or business groups, known as political investors. This research was conducted to determine the extended role of political investors in regional head elections. This descriptive qualitative research collected data through in-depth interviews and observations as well as online and paper documents. The results showed that political investors play an essential role in enabling regional head candidates to win, and that they in turn benefited from the elections.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the stakeholder’s roles and contributions in brand management of village tourisms in Bali and India. A descriptive qualitative research conducted in village tourisms in Bali, Indonesia with village tourisms in Andra Pradesh, India. In-depth interviews and discussions were conducted with twenty key informants involved in the management of the respective village tourisms. The findings are the stakeholders play an essential role in branding village tourisms to be able to build a good image of the destination. All activities offered in village tourisms indirectly become the brand of the village. This brand is expected to increase tourist visits, strengthen the image and keep the village tourisms sustainable.  The brand of village tourisms is an important thing to be considered by visitors in selecting the destination, so every stakeholder must contribute to create good brand image.Keywords: roles, stakeholder, branding, village tourisms, image

Abstract This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The aim of this study was to obtain information about early childhood learning based on local wisdom entrepreneurship. This research was conducted at TK Bona Kota Serang and RA Daarul Muqimien Tangerang Regency. The results obtained in this study show that TK Bona have implemented entrepreneurship learning through "market days" activities. Another activity carried out at TK Bona in order to develop life skills is the overnight activity at a pesantren or "mondok". At RA Daarul Muqimien, the learning model in the context of instilling entrepreneurial values were carried out through market day activities, cooking days, and field trips. It is hoped that the results of this study can become a reference for further research in developing early childhood learning models based on local wisdom entrepreneurship. Strengthening STEM-oriented learning is necessary for 21st century, so the development of appropriate learning models must be carried out. The aimed to of this study were analized validity, effectiveness, and practicality of STEM-based Team Games and Tournament (TGT) learning model towards the students' science process skills. This research was research and development (R&D) with a 4-D development namely; Defining, Designing, Developing, and Disseminating. The study involved 2 experts as validators, 2 teachers as user, and 112 students in small-scale tests, large-scale tests, and distribution tests in SMA. The research was done until the stage of disseminating and produced. The results showed the validity value of 83% was categorized as very valid, the effectiveness score of 83.9% was categorized as good, and the practicality score was 87.5%, so that it was declared valid, effective, and practical to improve the science process skills. Therefore, it is recommended to be applied in schools.

This study aims to describe the marketing communicationstrategy conducted by PT Telkomsel in increasing the market share in Segment Youth based on kotlertheory (1976: 46) which is Marketing Mix consisting of Four P (4P) ie product, price, place, place),and promotion (promotion) and AIDDA Theory (Attention, Interest, Desire, Decision, Action). Thetype of this research is descriptive qualitative, that is descriptive research which describes factfactually and meticulously as well as qualitative research which yields findings that can not beobtained by statistic or measurement. This research describes marketing communication strategyconducted by PT Telkomsel assisted by SPV Youth and Community Telkomsel Branch Surabya,covering product (product), price (price), place (place), and promotion (promotion). Data collectedthrough in-depth interviews SPV Youth and Community Branch Surabaya as representative of PTTelkomsel as Key Informant and some staff as informant as well as to test the validity of data. <em>This study aims to determine the role of social learning models in improving the competency of salt farmers in Pamekasan Regency. The research approach used is qualitative research with grounded theory. Data collection techniques using depth interviews, observation and documentation studies. The results of the study showed that increasing the competency of salt farmers through social learning models was carried out by presenting examples of behavior from aspects: 1) knowledge (knowledge); 2) skills (skills); 3) self concept; 4) personal characteristics (traits); and 5) motives (motives). The role of the social learning model for increasing salt farmers in Pamekasan Regency is: 1) to increase knowledge so that farmers have several alternative ways to make salt to produce quality; 2) developing the competency of salt farmers through the delivery of information; 3) foster an attitude of helping others; and 4) fostering a cooperative attitude towards outside parties who wish to establish cooperation.</em>

The study aims to determine learning effectiveness on training based on the Teams Learning Tournament (TLT) model combined with Google Classroom application.  The research method used is descriptive qualitative collected through observation and qualitative analysis.  The research was conducted in 2020 held in Teachers’ Training of Basic Islamic School (MI) Pangandaran. The results showed that TLT learning model combined with Google Classroom application can manage learning effectively.  The results showed that TLT learning models supported by the Google Classroom app can effectively manage learning, which can be seen from an increase in attitudes in liveliness of up to 100%, an average knowledge increase of 80.75% and the skills of participants can skillfully compose a predetermined learning product with an average skill score of 85.86. TraineesTLT learning model and Google Classroom application can also be separated to manage learning, but it will be more effective if those two are combined in learning.
