The virtual environment is a phenomenon that has grown exponentially in recent years, changing the way the economy evolves. Through e-commerce, social media platforms, online stores, or websites, financial resources are rolled both legally and illegally. Thus, some transactions are not accounted for or taxed, and also the concept of the digital shadow economy, defined as economic shadow activities conducted in electronic space, with no physical contact is increasingly present today. This paper aims to review and systematically analyze, through bibliometric analysis, using the Web of Science scientific platform and the VOSviewer software, the notion of digital shadow economy, determining the current state of knowledge in the field. Also, a comparative research was performed between digital shadow economy and the traditional shadow economy. The main findings reveal that digital shadow economy has a novelty character that refers to an economy based on digitized services and products, which escapes the official estimates of the GDP and the main research tendencies concern the conceptualization of the term and its main activity channels, aspects that distinguish it from traditional shadow economy. Furthermore, a thematic cluster, containing links to the digital shadow economy term can be noticed to be around cybercrimes.

Sustainable development is socioeconomic growth that integrates political, economic, and social measures alongside environmental protection to meet the needs of communities and citizens without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs. The sustainable development concept was initially based on three main pillars: environment, economy, and society. In successive years, this concept has been expanded to include new pillars. The awareness of these changes has influenced our research interests. The main research objective of this study was to evaluate the applicability of geographic information system (GIS) tools (data, tools, and multidimensional analyses) to the implementation of sustainable development principles in rural areas. The study covered rural and nonurbanized areas in Poland, especially farmland, forests, fisheries, and farms. The study presents the results of our research into environmental, economic, and social determinants of growth in the spatial dimension. GIS tools continue to evolve, which improves access to information and increases database managers’ awareness that highly accurate data are needed for spatial analyses. GIS systems allow us to formulate, in a structured and formal way, models that reflect both the current state and forecast changes that will occur in space. It is a very useful tool in the sustainable development of rural areas.

Every year, the vast majority of countries switch to an online environment. This is especially true for online stores. The subject of this study is the system of consumer protection upon buying goods in online stores and its effectiveness. The purpose is to analyse the state of development of e-commerce in Ukraine and the system of consumer protection upon purchasing goods in online stores. The following general scientific methods were used: classification and theoretical generalisation – to study the theoretical foundations of e-commerce; statistical analysis – to analyse the current state of e-commerce in Ukraine and the consumer protection system. The following results were obtained: based on the analysis of the provisions of current legislation and the experience of foreign countries describing the development of the e-commerce market in Ukraine and the world, the main trends that have developed have been identified, the positive and negative aspects of e-commerce have been identified, as well as the effectiveness of the consumer protection system upon purchasing goods in online stores. It was concluded that the “e-commerce” industry is developing very dynamically. Consumer protection upon purchasing goods through online stores is carried out as with a regular purchase and sale, but it has a number of specific features. To attract potential customers and build their trust, online stores try to post as much information about their products and services as possible on their official websites, including customer reviews. This indicates that the sellers themselves are interested in resolving disputes as soon as possible and preserving their reputation. Taking this into account, it is the improvement of the consumer literacy of citizens, the ability to fully exercise their rights, and to protect their interests in case of certain contradictions that is one of the ways to solve the existing problems

In order to illustrate the agency activity of Stalin’s intelligence service abroad in the 1940s I have selected a notorious case of the assassination of a prominent Soviet spy, Ignace Reiss, which took place on 4 September 1937 near Lausanne. I have set three main research objectives: 1. to verify the current state of knowledge on the assassination of Ignace Reiss; 2. to establish the possible involvement of Sergei Efron in the assassination; 3. to evaluate to what extent the fate of Sergei Efron in relation to the assassination of Ignace Reiss influenced the lives of his own family members (Marina Tsvetaeva, Ariadna Efron and Georgy Efron) and his immediate agency circle. As for today, there are strong grounds to state that Sergei Efron was not directly involved in Reiss’ killing – presumably, he did not shoot him. Following the unmasking of the espionage network in Paris led by Efron, his family and Efron himself were forced to abandon France in a hurry. Soon after that Efron and his relatives experienced Stalin’s repression of the Great Terror. Efron was executed by the NKVD, Marina Tsvetayeva committed suicide, Ariadna Efron was placed in prison for many years and Georgy Efron, 19 years old at the time died in Belarus in August 1944, merely two months after having fought at the front in the Second World War.

The objective of the main research is to investigate the current state of implementation of mechanisation and automation in the Industrialised Building System (IBS). The aim of this paper however, is to provide an overview on the implementation of mechanisation and automation in the IBS construction approach. Questionnaire survey and semi structured interviews were conducted to collect the viewpoints among contractors and manufacturers of IBS to ensure the richness of the data collected. The results illustrated that although most respondents have agreed on most critical issues in the implementation of mechanisation and automation, they were not ready to move forward. These responses were quite consistent across the professions. Keywords: Modern method of construction (MMC); industrialised building system (IBS); mechanisation and automation; environment. eISSN 2514-751X © 2018. The Authors. The purpose of the article is to determine the theoretical and organizational principles of application of accounting outsourcing by business entities. Methodology. Methods of analysis and synthesis were used to determine the characteristics and features of the organization of accounting outsourcing. The generalization of the existing experience of application of accounting outsourcing is carried out by a monographic method. On the basis of economic analysis and comparison, trends in the development of accounting outsourcing are identified. Methodology. The development of outsourcing is explained by its ability to increase the competitiveness of products, to promote the introduction of the latest advances in scientific and technological progress, to optimize costs. The application of knowledge and experience of specialists specializing in solving certain issues allows to focus the resources of companies on the development of strengths and promising areas and not to spend extra effort and money on the development of new non-core activities. The generalization of statistics on the current state of outsourcing in Ukraine shows that its effective application is hampered by the lack of free financial resources to invest in new management technologies, lack of awareness of business entities about the experience of outsourcing and the market of outsourcing services, lack of legal mechanisms. Generalization of functionally-oriented, cooperative, managerial, instrumental, integrated, situational, complex approaches gives grounds for outsourcing to understand the management tool, which allows to concentrate the resources of the business entity on the main activity, provides profit growth and increase competitiveness through contractual transfer, non-core functions of specialists or companies that specialize in their implementation and perform more efficiently than the entity. Among the advantages of outsourcing there are reducing the cost of accounting, improving service quality, accountability, confidentiality, tax optimization, reducing the likelihood of fraud by employees, ensuring impartiality and objectivity of accounting, access to additional resources in the field of finance, accounting and tax calculations. However, outsourcing has certain disadvantages, namely the risk of information leakage, possible lack of efficiency, formal performance of duties, liquidation of the outsourcing company, loss of control over own resources and part of the case may be lost, additional time to agree on the terms of the contract. Minimize the disadvantages of outsourcing allows careful and reasonable choice of outsourcing company, which should take into account: data privacy guarantee, staff qualifications, cost of services, reputation, popularity, experience of the outsourcer in the market, flexibility in organizing services, application of the latest technical solutions, outsourcing it has standards of interaction and internal procedures.

Introduction. Health tourism is considered a kind of tourism which is carried out for the purpose of prevention of various diseases and the recreation and provides for guests accommodation in sanatorium-and-spa establishments. This is a special form of tourism, which includes providing medical treatment (often non-drug) or health improvement services. Problem formulation. Health tourism takes one of the leading places in the tourism industry. This is mostly caused by the increase in the population wellbeing. Analysis of recent research and publications. Studies of the development of health tourism in general and in the Lviv region in particular are presented in the works of many Ukrainian and foreign scientists. The article fulfilled the analysis of foreign and domestic sources, which allowed to identify the following ideas that are of interest for the study of health tourism in Lviv region and many other regions of Ukraine Highlighting previously unsolved parts of the overall problem. The fulfilled study allowed us to assess approaches to the analysis of the current state of health tourism in general and in the Lviv region in particular. The literature is dominated by the opinion that the resort sphere of Lviv region attracts tourists with both favorable prices and a wide range of available services. The issues of estimating the tourist flows coming into the territory of Lviv region were also considered. At the same time, insufficient attention was paid to the study of the status of medical tourism, to the substantiation of proposals aimed at optimizing the development and the improvement of functioning of spa resorts in Lviv region. Formulating the purpose of the paper. The focus of this paper will be set on an objective assessment of the current conditions of the tourism industry based on a quantitative analysis of available statistical data with cartographic and modern statistical methods. Presentation of the main research material. The main directions of formation and development of health tourism in the world are outlined. The shadow economy penetrates almost all economic spheres of society. It includes various economic relations that are outside the scope of the law in the areas of production, consumption, exchange and distribution. The obstruction of the shadow economy, which appears to be one of the basic threats to the economic security of the country, is an extremely relevant phenomenon at the present time. The current state of the shadow economy sector in Russia is developing very dynamically, which entails a negative impact on the socio-economic situation of the state. This mainly applies to representatives of small and medium-sized businesses that provide services and produce a variety of goods. The relevance of the chosen topic lies in the fact that now there is a large percentage of shadow income in Russia, while this money could be used for the formation and development of SMEs, especially during times of an acute pandemic, which would minimize economic tension and increase the effectiveness of public finances.

In this paper, we build a causal interaction diagram between the factors that may influence the sales and profits of online stores. An online store’s real operation data were used to help determine the causal relationship between variables. Finally, we proposed a system dynamics model and conducted a simulation of the operation of an online store. In this model, we focused on the impact of promotion and positive/negative electronic word of mouth (e-WOM) on the sales and profits of the online stores. The simulation results showed a similar trend to the real data and the main research finding showed that promotion is not a long-term measure for the sustainable development of online stores. Excessive promotion effort may lead to consumers’ dissatisfaction leading the increase of negative e-WOM. The systematic simulation can help us understand better the long-term effect of promotion and e-WOM on the operation of online stores. Finally, we gave some management suggestions for online stores’ sustainable operations.

In 2011, ISTP SB RAS began to deploy a routinely operating network of receivers of global navigation satellite system signals. To date, eight permanent and one temporal sites in the Siberian region are operating on a regular basis. These nine sites are equipped with 12 receivers. We use nine multi-frequency multi-system receivers of Javad manufacturer, and three specialized receivers NovAtel GPStation-6 designed to measure ionospheric phase and amplitude scintillations. The deployed network allows a wide range of ionospheric studies as well as studies of the navigation system positioning quality under various heliogeophysical conditions. This article presents general information about the network, its technical characteristics, and current state, as well as the main research problems that can be solved using data from the network.
