Quality of Work Life and Job Satisfaction: A Case of Veterinary Doctors in Punjab

The present study attempts to establish the association between Quality of Work Life (QWL) and job satisfaction among the veterinary doctors of Punjab. Multiple linear regression analysis has been employed to examine how far the factors of QWL identified with the help of factor analysis affect the job satisfaction. Job satisfaction is a dependent variable and factors, Monetary Consideration, Social Relations at Work, Constitutionalism at Work, Pride in Job, Facilitation for Current Performance and Future Growth, Nature of Job, Security and Safety, Innovative and Challenging Job, Fair and Unbiased Attitude of Top Officials, Less Educated and Ignorant Clients, Space and Infrastructure, Insufficient Diagnostic Facilities and Staff, and Reporting are independent variables. The results of the present study reveal strong association of Monetary Consideration, Facilitation for Current Performance and Future Growth, Security and Safety, Nature of Job, and Space and Infrastructure with job satisfaction. The eight variables which were not found significant include, Social Relations at Work, Constitutionalism at Work , Pride in Job, Innovative and Challenging Job, Fair and Unbiased Attitude of Top Officials, Less Educated and Ignorant Clients, Insufficient Diagnostic Facilities and Staff, and Reporting. The present study conducted on veterinarians working under department of animal husbandry, Punjab can make a niche in this area. Commitment on the part of government and department itself to work on the activities and initiatives which promote QWL and job satisfaction of the respondents can create a sound and harmonious working environment to get the desired results.

 This paper is concerned with the examination of the impact of quality of work life for job satisfaction in Nepalese commercial banks. To achieve the purpose of the study, structured questionnaire is prepared and collected from 225 respondents. Descriptive and casual comparative research design have been used in this study. The multiple regression model has been used to test the relationship. The results show that working environment, work life balance, compensation and reward, training and development, and job design are positively related to job satisfaction. The regression result shows that the beta coefficients for all variables are positive and significant with job satisfaction.

The study aims to reveal quality of work life and its effect upon entrepreneurial thinking, and it results from a problem that most service organizations suffer from, poor working environment conditions for individuals, which affected the efficiency of their performance when demonstrating their abilities and creative ideas during their work. So, the study community is the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs with a sample of (214) individuals out of the total community of officials in the middle management of the bodies and departments of the ministry with a number (478). The questionnaire was used as a main tool, visits and personal interviews, and the analytical descriptive approach was adopted using the statistical measures Cronbach's Alpha, weighted arithmetic means, standard deviations, (Z-TEST) and (F-TEST), the relative importance and simple and multiple linear regression analysis, stepwise with the help of AMOS25, Excel v.10 and SPSS v.25 programs. The most prominent conclusions are the presence of a top correlation between the quality of work life and entrepreneurial thinking at a significant level, the high correlation with the entrepreneurial thinking is the organization climate , and the lower correlation with the entrepreneurial thinking are fees and bonuses , as well as the presence of a noticeable effect on the quality of life with its six dimensions together in the entrepreneurial thinking of the Ministry with a factor of determining its rate (74.4%) at a moral level. By diagnosing the most influential dimensions in entrepreneurial thinking by analyzing the gradual linear regression to indicate the organizational climate, training and development of employees, health conditions and occupational keep, and opportunities for Upgrading and career advancement, Collectively in entrepreneurial thinking with a factor of determination of (72.4%) at the level of significance less than the level of morale and exclude wages, bonuses and material work environment that is less influenced in the entrepreneurial thinking.

<p><em>This study titled influence the quality of work life and job satisfaction on employee performance of PT Pertamina Persero RU Cilacap. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect on the quality of work life by partial performance, determine the effect of job satisfaction on performance partially, and determine the influence of the quality of work life and job satisfaction simultaneously on employee performance. The independent variable in this study is the quality of work life and job satisfaction, the dependent variable in this study is the performance. The population of this study were 600 permanent employees shift part of PT. Pertamina Persero RU Cilacap. Sampling technique using census sampling methods and techniques Probability Proportionate Random Sampling Strarified totaling 221 employees. Data collection method used was a questionnaire and the data mengalisis using the multiple linear regression analysis.</em></p><em>These results indicate that the quality of work life has significant influence but not the performance, job satisfaction has a significant impact on performance, while the quality of work life and job satisfaction has a significant impact on employee performance remains part of PT Pertamina Persero shift RU Cilacap.</em>

Considering the fact that in all of the organization including education organization quality of work life today has found a special place, because this reason lack and vacuum of working life quality cause employees have not spirit that they should have to work, and this leads to job satisfaction and ultimately employee productivity reduce and working environment and career seem hollow. So in this research tried to assess the relationship between work life quality and job satisfaction in Education Organization of Tehran. This research was conducted in period is July and August 2015. The research method is descriptive and correlational and the study population included all employees in the Education Organization 10 District of Tehran. The total number is 100 people. That according to Cochran formula was calculated sample size of over 79 people. In this study, for the data analysis, descriptive and inferential statistical methods such as Kolmogorov - Smirnov correlation test was used. The study results showed that 8 independent variable of this research significantly have significant relationship with dependent variable job satisfaction.

Background: Aspects of spirituality can make a person more able to interpret the meaning of life and have self-acceptance of any condition so as to give a positive response to the changes that occur in him. Having a high spirituality will make a person more creative in determining things that are intrapersonal and interpersonal, and can increase job satisfaction. Moreover, if followed by improving the quality of work life of nurses, so that the opportunity for them to develop using their skills and competence, good relationships, work participation, and a conducive working environment can provide nurse’s work satisfaction so as to increase productivity for the hospital.Research Objectives: This study aims to determine the relationship between the nurse’s spirituality and quality of work life with job satisfaction of nurses at inpatient wards of RSUD AM Parikesit Tenggarong.Research Method: This research design used descriptive correlation with cross sectional approach. The research variables were measured through questionnaires using The Quality of Nursing Work Life Scale (Beth A, 2001) for the quality of nurse’s work life and Index Of Work Satisfaction (Stamp, 1997) for nurse’s job satisfaction, while spirituality used self-developed questionnaires 16 item statement and has been declared valid and reliable. The sampling technique used was proportionate stratified random sampling of 109 people. Data analysis was by using parametric test person product moment.Result: The result of stastitic test got p value of spirituality 0.193 and quality of work life 0.04. Which means there is no significant relationship between the nurse's spirituality with the nurse's job satisfaction but has a positive relationship direction. While there is a significant relationship quality of work life with job satisfaction of nurse, patterned positive.Conclusion: The need for spirituality still needs to be improved because it becomes an important aspect in the nursing process that is not only for the same nurse but also for the client. In addition, the quality of work life of the nurse must be maintained and enhanced again. Hospital management is recommended to facilitate formal and informal learning in teamwork related to understanding spirituality, and improve working conditions in the nursing environment.

This study aims to analyze the effect of quality of work life and intrinsic motivation on affective commitment with job satisfaction as a mediating variable on the employees of Dinas Perhubungan Kabupaten Bantul. This type of research is quantitative research. The sample size of this study was 92 employees. The sampling technique used the accidental sampling method. The data collection method in this study used a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis and Sobel test. The results showed that the quality of work life had a significant effect on job satisfaction. Intrinsic motivation has no significant effect on job satisfaction. Quality of work life has a significant effect on affective commitment. Intrinsic motivation and job satisfaction have no significant effect on affective commitment. Job satisfaction does not mediate the effect of quality of work life and intrinsic motivation on affective commitment. This study aims to analyze of work life quality, work facilities and organizational commitment on job satisfaction. The population for this study is the employees of Karma Royal Jimbaran, there are 30 people as a sample. The data collection techniques used are documents, interviews, observations and questionnaires. Multiple linear regression analysis is used as a data analysis technique. From this research, it is found that there are several important aspects: 1) The quality of work life has a positive and significant impact on the employee job satisfaction, 2) Work facilities have a positive and significant impact on the employee job satisfaction, 3) Organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction. 4) Quality of work life, work facilities and organizational commitment jointly affect satisfaction work. Work facilities have the most dominant influence on employee job satisfaction at Hotel Karma Royal Jimbaran. Judging from the beta coefficient value of 0.302, it is greater than the beta coefficient value of quality of work life and organizational commitment.

Quality of work life is the major factor to be considered in working environment of any organization. The performance of employees and the organization lies on the ability of the employees based on working environment. The QWL leads to better working environment which improves the performance of organization. The present study has made an attempt to find the level of factors causing QWL and the impact of outcome of QWL in banks. Since the profile of the banks may be associated with the level of outcomes of QWL, the present study has made an attempt to examine it with the help of one way analysis of variance and t-test. The included outcomes of QWL are job satisfaction, job stress, organizational climate, organizational commitment, employees retention behaviour, service quality employees and service productivity of employees. The highly associated determinants of QWL and the significant difference among the PUSBs and PRSBs have been noticed. The significantly associating important profiles of the banks regarding the existence of outcome of QWL are identified.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji, menganalisis menginterprestasi kepemimpinan, kepuasan kerja, Quality of Work Life Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Melalui Perilaku Pada Hotel Dinasti Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriftip analisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan pendekatan kualitatif. dan metode analisis yang digunakan Analisis Path/ Path Analysis. Data diperoleh dari Hotel Dinasti Kota Makassar dan Responden adalah karyawan. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menemukan bebe-rapa faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan di Hotel Dinasti Kota Makassar, antara lain Kepemimpinan, Kepuasan Kerja, Quality of Work Life dan Perilaku. Kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku karyawan. Kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku karyawan. Quality of Work Life berpengaruh positif dan signifikan ter-hadap perilaku karyawan. Kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui perilaku karya-wan. This research is a descriptive analysis using a quantitative approach and a qualitative approach. And the analytical method used is Path Analysis. Data obtained from the Hotel Dynasty Makassar City and respondents were employees. The results of this study can find several factors that affect employee performance in the Makassar City Dynasty Hotel. These include leadership, job satisfaction, quality of work life and behavior. Leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee behavior. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee behavior. Quality of Work Life has a positive and significant effect on employee behavior. Leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance through employee behavior. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance through employee behavior. Quality of Work Life has a positive and significant effect on employee performance through employee behavior.
