To improve the university teaching quality, and towards ABET accreditation, it is imperative to assess each course offered and provide feedback to instructors to evaluate the course outcomes and their relationship to the overall program outcomes in order to enhance the teaching methodologies and techniques. This paper aims at presenting the automation of the course assessment in the multi-campus common exams Lebanese International University by introducing two dynamic Excel Tools. The first one is the course section grading tool used by the instructor to evaluate his students and generate an assessment report. The second tool is the statistical tool that collects all class sections data and provides a statistical report including the course outcomes scores and the score of each program outcome. The coordinator uses this report to analyze the results, synthesizes the instructor recommendations, and proposes corrective actions to close the loop of continuous improvement.

The assessment of program outcomes for ABET accreditation has become a challenge for engineering programs nationwide. Various methods and approaches have been investigated to develop good practices for program assessment. At South Dakota State University (SDSU), an approach called Faculty Course Assessment Reports (FCAR) has been explored for mechanical engineering (ME) program assessment. FCAR provides an assessment tool to correlate the ME program outcomes with the outcomes of the core ME courses, and to evaluate student performance at the course level based on ABET outcome criterion. This process begins with the development of course objectives and outcomes. Then these course objectives and outcomes are directly mapped with the ME program objectives and outcomes respectively. Further the quantitative and qualitative details generated in the FCAR are lined up directly to ABET program outcome a to k criterion through FCAR rubrics. By use of the FCAR process, all ME program outcomes are evaluated at the course level based on the ABET program outcomes. The assessment results are being used for improvement of the ME curriculum. The process was developed to provide an effective tool for the ME program outcome assessment at the course level with reasonable effort.

Abstract.EVALUATION OF QUALITY INDICATORS OF THE SATISFACTION OF THE DEGREES OF EDUCATION OF THE SCHOOL OF EDUCATION AND HUMANITIES OF MELILLA THROUGH THE CONTENT ANALYSISThis work focuses on the evaluation of quality through the satisfaction of training of the education students of Melilla, the method to be used will be the content analysis by procedures systematic and objective description of the content of the messages, allowing the inference of knowledge related to production / reception conditions (social context) of these messages (Bardin, 1996: 32, Berrocal and Megías, 2015, Buendía, 2010), of instruments and existing, and with which the evaluations of the degrees are currently carried out, in the University of Granada, carrying out an exhaustive analysis of the system of indicators proposed by ANECA (National Agency for the Evaluation of Quality and Accreditation) and the Vice-Rector's Office for the Guarantee of Quality of the University of Granada, and, on the other hand, establishing comparisons of the criteria of analysis of quality indicators in several national and international universities. After the analysis we can conclude that, in general, the indicators to be evaluated are not based on evidence of user satisfaction, based on the documents on the evaluation of university teaching quality, and, depending on the content analysis, we can propose a series of indicators that allow to evaluate the quality of the Training of the Degrees of Education externally, trying to improve the criteria of effectiveness and efficiency. Keywords: Content analysis, University Higher Education, ANECA, Evaluation.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to indicate that transformational classroom leadership has substantial benefits in terms of enhancing the quality of the classroom experience and associated educational outcome in the context of growing criticism of university teaching quality. It also aims to recommend the focus of future research to realise these benefits. Design/methodology/approach – The paper comprises a comprehensive review of literature on the outcomes of transformational leadership in a classroom context and identifies weaknesses in the research thus far. It then indicates an approach to capitalising the potential of this instructional innovation. Findings – Transformational classroom leadership has substantial benefits in terms of enhancing the quality of the classroom experience for both students and teachers. Research limitations/implications – This paper produces substantial arguments in favour of transformational classroom leadership as a means of enhancing teaching quality and educational outcomes. Nevertheless, the paper also recognises that research, thus far, has yet to indicate a systematic way forward to affecting its implementation. Practical implications – The transformational classroom leadership approach advocated in this paper has practical benefits for both students and teachers, especially at the university level. Originality/value – This paper draws attention to the potential benefits of transformational classroom leadership as a means of enhancing the quality of the classroom experience particularly for students. It also indicates a way forward designed to realise the benefits of this instructional approach.

Geography is a worldview science. The structure of the geography course in the Russian secondary school, which has developed over the decades, is familiar to each of us and consists of four stages. At the University, the system of teaching future teachers of geography consists of the same stages, however, it is not just an indepth repetition of the school curriculum, it is a completely new, higher level of geographical education. At both the school and University levels, changes occur in the scale of topics and sections of individual stages, but the stages remain the same. The interstage level is the limit, its awareness does not fall into the field of reflection of teachers and methodologists. There are no scientific papers on its analysis. The method of research is dialectics, the laws of which work in the form of worldview formulas. In school geographic education, the problem of perception formation is not clearly manifested and therefore is not realized. Problems begin to emerge at the interstage level. The worldview formula of dichotomy ceased to work in the form of the opposition sectoral geography regional geography, the interaction in this binary opposition was based on the principle of sectoral analysis regional synthesis. Mechanisms (energy production cycles) and forms of synthesis (naturalterritorial and territorialproduction complexes) have disappeared in the sections of the district geography. There was a loss of expediency of studying of regional geography. New forms of synthesis in the postSoviet period were not adopted by the Russian school and University geography. In the University course, which was aimed at understanding the dialectical knowledge of the school course and their development, it is impossible to reflect, as the basis of geographical knowledge of students formless. The possession of ideological formulas is the question of geographic reality. In the transition from level to level increases the independence of geographical thinking and the distance from stereotypes, heuristic potential increases due to the combination of formulas, which gives variability of reflection of geographical reality.
