This empirical study aims to design and test a research model that investigates the effect of job insecurity as a moderator of the relationships between perceived employability and employee well-being (work engagement). It also measures the impact of perceived employability on work engagement. Data were gathered from full-time frontline workers employed in five-star hotels in Northern Cyprus to test the study variables; the partial least square structural equation model (PLS-SEM) was applied and supported the research hypotheses. In line with the study predictions and findings from previous literature, perceived employability was found to have a significant positive impact on work engagement. The result revealed that, as a hindrance stressor, job insecurity negatively affects the relationship between perceived employability and work engagement. The findings of this study provide some insights concerning employability’s importance as well as influencing factors on employees’ job selection and their attitudes during job performance in the organizations. The knowledge gathered in this research is a source for stressing the value of employability in developing professional skills and professional involvement, as well as for reducing the perception of job insecurity, especially in the tourism industry, which has a delicate and sensitive structure. The implications of the empirical findings are discussed and future research directions are offered.

Tourism industry is a part of an important sector that contributes to the economic development of any country in an effective way such that the tourism stakeholders are taking efforts to develop sustainable tourism practices in order to preserve the future generation needs and hold their perception towards environment. Extant research on environmental sustainable practices has treated ‘Green’ tourism as local environmental awareness and conservative activities, failing to identify the differences in the way tourist choose destination based on green attributes and how these attributes affects the destination marketing. This study addresses this gap by exploring the relationship among attributes of green tourism and green trust and their impact on destination brand equity. Moreover, an important variable, green washing, is used to measure the moderation effects in the relationships proposed. Analysis was based on a sample of 739 Indian tourists having visited three eco-friendly destinations. Partial least square structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) technique exhibited the impact of green service attributes (green service delivery and green service support except green service policy) on green trust with significant moderation interaction effects from green washing and finally the consequent affect on destination brand equity.

This paper aims to examine the impact of TripAdvisor reviews on behavioural intentions, basing on travellers' trust towards the e-WOM reviews. Four factors are proposed for building travellers’ trust and behavioural intentions: information quality, credibility, adoption and usefulness. Trust is expected to mediate the relationship between eWOM attributes and travellers’ behavioural intention. Data from 410 travellers were analysed using Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), and the findings show that TripAdvisor e-WOM attributes (information credibility, adoption and usefulness) significantly influence the traveller's trust. Besides, traveller behavioural intention was influenced considerably by TripAdvisor eWOM information credibility and usefulness. Lastly, trust in e-WOM significantly mediates travellers' behavioural intention. This paper confirms the importance of eWOM in the context of the tourism industry and travellers' trust and behaviour towards online review, which altered how consumers behave before deciding to travel.

Work engagement has a contribution to the success of an organization. Governmental institutions are often criticized for showing less satisfying performance and less effective services due to the misconducts of the civil servants such as coming late to work, leaving at working hours, and being less enthusiastic at work. This study aimed to examine civil servants' working conditions using three variables, namely leader-member exchange, psychological well-being, and work engagement. The measuring tools used referred to the Leader-Member Exchange Multidimensional (Liden & Maslyn, 1998), Psychological Well-being Scale (Ryff, 1989) and Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (Schaufeli & Bakker, 2004). There were 80 civil servants involved in this study as the subjects. They were selected using simple random sampling technique. Statistical techniques used in this study Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with Warp PLS 5.0 Software. The result indicated that the three variables had a positive correlation with one another, and psychological well-being mediated the influence of leader-member exchange on work engagement.

Purpose This paper aims to examine the relationship among guests’ lodging recovery experience, work-related rumination, guest satisfaction and well-being, within the context of hotels and bed and breakfasts (B&Bs). Design/methodology/approach The sample included 823 Taiwanese full-time workers. The proposed relationships were tested using partial least square structural equation modeling, and the moderating effects of accommodation types were tested using multi-group analysis. Findings The research findings indicate that staying at a hotel or B&B provides a respite from work and reduces negative, repetitive thoughts about work issues (work-related rumination). These recovery effects then contribute to customer satisfaction and hedonic and eudaimonic well-being. Practical implications The findings indicate that practitioners need to develop products that could reduce customers’ negative emotional attachments to work and enhance the well-being of customers in a stressful society, which could ultimately contribute to promoting the public health of full-time workers. Originality/value To the best of the authors’ knowledge, this study is the first to examine the stress-recovery aspect of lodging experiences and their impacts on customer satisfaction and well-being. Further insights are demonstrated with the inclusion of work-related rumination.

This empirical study aims to determine the impact of the productive zakat, infaq and sadaqah (ZIS) on the growth of micro business and the welfare of mustahiq in Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (Baznas) branch of Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY). Applying structural equation modeling partial least square (PLS SEM), it confidently aims to verify the factors that influence the mustahiq welfare. The data of the research had systematically gathered by distributing questionnaires to 50 respondents and analytically processed by SmartPLS 3.0. This paper found that the productivity of ZIS took significantly positive influence on the growth of micro business and the welfare of mustahiq. This study examines the relationship between Organizational Support Perceived and Psychological Capital on Subjective Welfare from employees of government organizations in Indonesia. 118 staff of the Directorate General of Taxes who participated in filling out the questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the Partial Least Square technique. The results showed that organizational support and work involvement were not proven to mediate the effect of organizational support on subjective well-being. Work engagement and career satisfaction are proven to mediate the influence of psychological capital. The practical implication proposed is the development of organizational capacity through psychological capital as the most dominant variable

This study aimed at exploring the impact of procedural justice on work engagement, trust in leadership and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). Data were collected from 100  employees working in manufacturing and analyzed by using Partial Least Square. The results of this study suggested that procedural justice is positively related to work engagement,  trust in leader and work engagement is positively related to OCB. Trust on leadership doesn’t mediating the relationship procedural justice to  OCB,  but work engagement is partially mediating the relationship procedural justice to OCB. This study resulted that work engagement has a contribution to building OCB.

Bank Jatim or PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk , on august 17, 1961 Bank Jatiwas establised in Surabaya. as a BUMD, Bank Jatim is the largest bank in East Java. The goal of this research is to examine and analyze the impact of employee’s perceived organizational support on work engagement through job crafting at the General Division in Bank Jatim Surabaya. This study is a causal research of quantitative approach. A total of 56 respondent are used for the sampling technique. With the support of SmartPLS v.3.6.2 software, the statistical analysis used in this research is Partial Least Square (PLS). The analysis outcomes indicate that perceived organizational support has a significant positive effect on work engagement, perceived organizational support has a significant positive effect on job crafting, job crafting has a significant positive effect on work engagement, and job crafting has successfully mediated the effect of perceived organizational support on work engagement.

Recently, the evolvement of globalization era has been the global challenges that cannot be avoided either by private or government sectors, and they are requested to be survived encountering such the condition. The implementation of Quality Management System (QMS) in the operational company is the way how to guarantee the quality of products or services offered to the people. One of the purposes of QMS implementation is to provide a prime satisfaction to the customers. The impact of QMS implementation is expected to increase job performance of the employees. Besides the implementation of Quality Management System (QMS), the impact of global challenges has been increasing the competitive efforts to execute more effective production process. However, it has required manpower protection accordingly. This research aims to find out whether the implementation of quality management system and safety and healthy at work management system have impacted on the job performance of employees. Objects of this research are the employees in the production department at PT Guna Senaputra Sejahtera Plant 1 Bogor. Data analysis technique of this research has applied software Smart PLS (Partial Least Square). PLS has estimated a model of correlation among the latent variables and correlation between latent variables and its indicators. This study discussed employee turnover as one of the crucial problems faced by every organization. This study sought to analyze the determinants of turnover intention, such as job insecurity, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction. The objects of this study were newcomer lecturers of private Islamic universities in East Java Province, Indonesia. To analyze the relationship among independent variables and dependent variable; this study employed a correlation path model. To build the structural formulation of the correlation path model, this study used the variance-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) as a Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis. The study found that job insecurity influenced job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Moreover, job satisfaction and organizational commitment had positive impacts on the turnover intention. In contrast, job insecurity did not have a direct significant impact on the turnover intention, but it had indirect effect that influences job satisfaction and organizational commitment.
