This paper presents an original elliptical microstrip patch antenna is proposed for Ku/K band satellite applications. The proposed antenna has a simple structure, small size with dimensions of about 10×12×1.58 mm³. The antenna has been designed and simulated on an FR4 substrate with dielectric constant 4.4 and thickness of 1.58 mm. The design is simulated by two different electromagnetic solvers. The results from the measured data show that the antenna has two resonant frequencies that define 2 bandwidths, defined by a return loss of less than -10 dB, and are: (14.44 GHz, 829 MHz) and (21.05 GHz, 5126 MHz),with the gain 5.59 dB and 5.048 dB respectively. The proposed antenna can be used in many applications such as in satellite, and wireless communications.

Here an hexagonal printed antenna is reported. The antenna has measurement volume of 800 mm 3 . It operates at the frequencies 2.9 GHz, and 6.3 GHz with S11 of -10.17 dB and -14.49dB respectively. It has produced acceptable gain of 2.065dB for 2.9 GHz and 3.45dB for 6.3 GHz. The frequencies obtained are useful for aeronautical radio location and satellite applications. The antenna is designed using HFSS software and tested using ZVH vector network analyzer.

Based on the transmission line mode theory, designed one kind of small and dual band microstrip antenna on the magnetoelectric composite material. Then do the simulation by HFSS11.0 which based on the finite element method. The simulation results show that, when the return loss less than -10dB, antenna working in band 2360MHz~2500MHz and 3900MHz ~4200MHz, Compared with ordinary antenna, this antenna not only realizes the multi band, but also in the working frequency bandwidth compared to common antenna slightly raised, antenna size is reduced nearly 85%. Good impedance matching. This microstrip antenna has some value on the mobile device miniaturization for the miniaturization and dual band.
