A Large Eddy Simulation (LES) of the primary atomization in cryogenic combustion chamber is proposed. To reach this crucial challenge, different two-phase flow models are necessary because the simulation includes multiscale phenomena. A fully Eulerien coupling strategy has been implemented in a multiphysics platform and a primary atomization model has been suggested. This strategy combines a diffuse interface model for the atomization of the liquid jet and a kinetic based model for the combustion of the spray. Concerning numerical methods, a time splitting and a new specific Monotonic Upstream-centered Scheme for Conservation Laws (MUSCL) technique have been used for robustness and precision of the computation. The configuration of the simulation is a test cryogenic facility corresponding to one coaxial injector.
