In this paper, the picture fuzzy score and accuracy function are first defined. Then, a corresponding comparative method between two picture fuzzy numbers (PFNs) is developed. Next, a novel normalized picture fuzzy distance measure between two PFNs is disclosed, and part of the characteristics of the proposed distance measure are discussed. Afterwards, on the basis of the analytic network process (ANP) and an Acronym in Portuguese of Interactive and Multi-Criteria Decision-Making (TODIM) methods, an integrated ANP-TODIM approach is developed to resolve multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) where the weights of the criteria are fully unknown. We use ANP approach to decide the weights of criteria on the basis of expert mean assessment method, and TODIM is utilized to obtain the ranking of alternatives. Finally, an illustrative example of an optimal tourism attraction recommendation is provided to testify applicability of the developed decision-making method and prove that its results are effective and reasonable.

This article describes how serial crimes are very interesting for study in the absence of proper and solid evidence. From a high volume of criminal cases of similar types, it is difficult to detect the crimes that were committed by the same offender or not. The process of linking of crimes which were committed by the same offender or offenders is called Crime Linkage Analysis. In this article, a new hesitant fuzzy distance measure has been introduced and a fuzzy multicriteria decision-making approach has been proposed to help Crime Linkage Analysis, which enables us to find to what extent a pair of crime shares a common offender or offenders.

The main objective of the proposed research in this paper is introducing an extended version of the linguistic picture fuzzy TOPSIS technique and then solving the problems in enterprise resource planning systems. In this article, we use the uncertain information in terms of linguistic picture fuzzy numbers; the decision maker provides membership, neutral, and nonmembership fuzzy linguistic terms to represent uncertain assessments information of alternatives in linguistic multicriteria decision making (LMCDMs). In order to introduce the extended version of TOPSIS method, we defined a new hamming distance measure between two linguistic picture fuzzy numbers. Further, we apply the proposed method to problem of enterprise resource planning systems and discuss numerical implementation of the proposed method of LMCDM.

The objective of this paper is to introduce a distance measure for intuitionistic fuzzy numbers. Firstly the existing distance measures for intuitionistic fuzzy sets are analyzed and compared with the help of some examples. Then the new distance measure for intuitionistic fuzzy numbers is proposed based on interval difference. Also in particular the type of distance measure for triangle intuitionistic fuzzy numbers is described. The metric properties of the proposed measure are also studied. Some numerical examples are considered for applying the proposed measure and finally the result is compared with the existing ones.
