Demographic studies and statistics from state and federal courts indicate agrowing need for Spanish-English court interpreters with special training in consecutiveand simultaneous court interpretation. The authors conducted a survey of 466 ofCalifornia's Spanish-English court interpreters to determine what the Spanish-Englishcourt interpreter's strongest skills needs are. Survey results are reported in this article, and the five strongest skills training needs are identified. The authors indicate how thelanguage laboratory may efficiently be used to develop and enhance these five skillsand how it may best serve a court interpreter training program. Emphasis is onapplying the work of G.A. Miller and the training techniques of Robert Ingram toSpanish-English court interpreter training.

The article deals with state of modern staffing of the judiciary, the problematic issues of the selection and appointment of a judge. In particular, the legislation that determines the procedure for selection for the position of a judge, as well as the stages of such selection are analyzed. The shortcomings of the legislation have been identified and proposals have been made to improve and optimize this procedure. It is proposed to adopt the Law of Ukraine, which will amend the procedure for forming the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine. Take measures to elect members of the High Qualifica-tions Commission of Judges of Ukraine and complete the selection for the position of a judge of a local court, as well as continue the competition for vacant positions of appellate courts. It is proposed to simplify the selection procedure for the position of a local court judge. It is rea-sonable to carry out special training of candidates for the position of a judge only in the specialty chosen by the candidate. Due to this, you can at least halve the period of special training - from 12 to 6 months. It is also justified inexpediency to conduct 2 exams during the selection - entrance and then quali-fication. It is proposed to unite them and immediately after the selection exam to conduct a qualifying exam, to determine the rating of candidates, on the basis of which to hold a competition for vacant positions of judges in specific courts. Taking into account the specializations chosen by the candidates, it is proposed to carry out special training with an internship in the court where the candidate won the competition. During the special training, a special examination of the candidate and his / her integrity must be performed. In case of successful implementation of the special training program and passing the special examination of the candidate, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine (or the High Council of Justice) submits to the President applications for appointment. It is proposed to conduct an interview with the candidate only in the event that the results of a special inspection will establish the circumstances that require additional explanations of the candidate. It is also proposed to enshrine at the legislative level a strategy for the development and im-provement of the administration of justice for at least 10 years. Changes to the legislation and adjustment of certain norms are possible only within the framework of the adopted strategy.

Abstract Objective To describe the perspective of grossing technology and highlight the prospective of its development in histology laboratory. Methods Analysis of different components of grossing technology. Results Increased requirements for a specimen’s turnaround time and the advancements in modern processing equipment make the triage of workflow a significant part of a grossing person’s responsibilities. The implementation of digital pathology in morphology studies practice requires standardization of fixation, the thickness of gross section, and optimal embedding orientation. To meet tomorrow’s challenges, grossing technology should work on embedding automation and gross digital pathology to record gross sections corresponding the microscope slide. Specialization of grossing stations might be beneficial to the quality of processing and smooth workflow productivity. The emerging grossing technologist subspecialty requires development of a special training program. Conclusion Grossing technology can contribute to new challenges in modern histology laboratory, assuring high-quality microscope slides for the pathologist’s diagnosis and research evaluation.

The researcher aimed at identifying the effect of a training program on the development of fighting efficiency. The researchers used the experimental method on (32) fighters from the Iraqi special forces. The researcher designed special training that develops some functional and physical abilities as well as the fighting efficiency of Iraqi forces fighters. The program is applied for two months with (22) training sessions in a month with 5 – 6 sessions per week. The data was collected and treated using proper statistical operations to come up with conclusions.

Abstract Introduction: Training individualization is a key element for optimal sports performance and protection of the athlete’s health. The training program should be adjusted according to each athlete's characteristics and should be based on data obtained using proper evaluation. Cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET) is considered the gold standard for aerobic exercise capacity assessment and provides an increased quantity of information in regard to body reaction to effort, offering a complete perspective over the O2 transportation system and its utilization in metabolic processes. The aim of this study was to highlight the importance of a scientific approach regarding the physical training, starting from junior level. Methods: For a 3 years period (2013 - 2016) we followed the evolution of a professional cyclist (14 years old at baseline), in terms of cardiopulmonary parameters. During this period, he was tested 5 times and he followed a special training program adapted according the tests results. The CPET was performed in the laboratory using a stationary electronically braked cycle ergometer (Lode Corival, Netherland) and a breath by breath gas analyzer device (Cortex Metalyzer 3B, Germany). Results: We observed an improvement trend in almost all parameters investigated during the 3 years evaluation period. Comparing post-season records from 2013 and 2016, we noticed an increase of 54% in maximal aerobic power and 50% in peak oxygen uptake at anaerobic threshold and an even greater increase (59%) of these parameters at maximal effort achieved during CPET. After these 3 years of training we observed a significant improvement of ventilatory efficiency and cardiac performance during exercise. Conclusions: The study indicate that proper training adaptation according to data obtained using CPET, can bring an important progress in terms of performance.
