This paper presents the analysis of the self-reported reflections of pre-service English teachers about the use of digital storytelling and its tools in terms of Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge. Through the reflection reports of 78 pre-service English teachers and a focus-group interview after implementing a digital storytelling project, the present study investigated the perceptions and reflections of pre-service English teachers regarding the use of digital storytelling to teach English to young learners. The data were analysed through mixed (qualitative and quantitative) methods. The results revealed that pre-service English teachers reflected positive perceptions towards to the use of digital storytelling. Their reflections are significant in terms of the tools to be used for digital storytelling, the viewpoints regarding young learners and the improvement in their Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge. The findings should be of interest to teacher education programs in supporting pre-service teachers to integrate technology into language classrooms.

The digital age requires teacher education programs to constantly evaluate and revise their programs and courses, particularly with reference to guiding teacher candidates towards integrating current and emerging technologies. This designed-based research study demonstrates how state-wide mandates to revise teacher education programs were used in promoting subsequent revisions influencing the course components and teacher candidates' development of Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK). Cases of four undergraduate elementary education courses and the advanced licensure elementary education program are described. The cross case analysis reveals the subsequent influence on the program for improving the TPACK preparation of the teacher candidates. The chapter concludes with implications for teacher educators and leaders of teacher education programs.

Highlighting the educational grounds of transmedia frameworks, this article acknowledges the positive impact of multimedia technology in cademic achievement and focuses on the examination of the reflexiveness in the communicative phenomenon as a key competence in education. In the search for a deeper understanding of the role that transmedia formats can play in both teaching and learning, the theoretical and conceptual ground for the analysis will follow the premises of the new field called TPCK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) and the well-known Seven Elements of Digital Storytelling. Moreover, a cognitive approach to narrative will be introduced to delineate the reflectiveness of the affection in linguistic and cognitive parameters.

Pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) is the essential need of teaching and every teacher had to prioritized it for their teaching preparation. For early childhood education teacher, it is not only about knowledge of curriculum, instructional strategies and content, but also knowledge of students understanding. Teachers need to pay attention for all aspect in learning activities. With the awareness of PCK, teacher will have good performance while teaching and it will affect children understanding towards the subject. This research use descriptive quantitative methode to describe pedagogical content knowledge of 135 early childhood education teacher’s in Pekanbaru City that has been chosen by purposive sampling technique. Data collection and processing using google form. From four indicators of PCK, knowledge of student understanding score is the highest at 3,25,  knowledge of instructional strategies score is 3,15, content knowledge score is 3.07 and knowledge of curriculum is the lowest with score 2,89. Emphaty and the ability to understand children comprehension in learning is pivotal for early childhood teacher. Young children don’t always express thought and emotion verbally, so teacher should also observed non verbal language and be thoughtful in order to help them understanding the subject. Early childhood teacher should gain more practiced and learn to enhance their knowledge of curriculum.

MTSK. Profesor de Educación Infantil. Resta. Paying attention to this professional desirable knowledge is relatively recent, and thus there are few studies that address it. We assume as a starting point the consideration that this knowledge is specialized; differs from that of primary or secondary teachers’; and its characterization must be carried out from an approach centered on mathematics itself. This leads us to consider the model of Mathematics Teachers’ Specialised Knowledge (MTSK) as a suitable theoretical and analytical tool to offer a proposal of specialized knowledge elements that, in light of our teaching and research experience, we considered desirable for the work of teaching of these professionals in relation to subtraction. In this proposal we include aspects of Mathematical Knowledge (MK) and of Pedagogical Content knowledge (PCK). In the proposal we highlight three main elements that seem to characterize the nature of this knowledge: its density and cohesion; the depth of the mathematical knowledge involved and its impact to build an adequate PCK; and the relevance of knowledge of the phases that children follow in their process of understanding the number. Some recommendations for early years teachers’ education are provided. Keywords: Mathematics Teachers’ Specialised Knowledge. MTSK. Early childhood teacher. Subtraction. Mathematical knowledge. Nesta proposta incluímos aspectos do conhecimento do conteúdo e do conhecimento pedagógico do conteúdo (PCK). MTSK. Professor de Educação Infantil. Subtração.
