This paper is devoted to introduce a gauge theory of the Lorentz group based on the ambiguity emerging in dealing with isometric diffeomorphism-induced Lorentz transformations. The behaviors under local transformations of fermion fields and spin connections (assumed to be ordinary world vectors) are analyzed in flat spacetime and the role of the torsion field, within the generalization to curved spacetime, is briefly discussed. The fermion dynamics is then analyzed including the new gauge fields and assuming time-gauge. Stationary solutions of the problem are also analyzed in the non-relativistic limit, to study the spinor structure of an hydrogen-like atom.

An operational approach to computerized record linkage has been developed based on the concept of probability of chance match in two groups of records brought together for comparison. Tolerance levels can be readily derived from these records for decision-making in accepting or rejecting a linked pair. This approach is especially suitable for iteration when linked pairs are removed in successive cycles. An application of linkage for death clearance of the 1942 resident population of 437,967 registered in Hawaii during a 38-year period from 1942 to 1979 is presented. The reliability of linkage and rate of failure were analyzed.

The article discusses turbulence of economic processes as a result of relative velocities of economic system elements. It is underlined that turbulence is the property of macroeconomic dynamics. The main reason of turbulence in economic system is the discrepancy between the velocity of deals contracting and the velocity of obligations executing. The process approach to the analysis of economic system as a set of processes is proposed. Using Lorentz transformations for turbulence analysis is discussed.

For the symmetry group of internal-wave equations, the mechanical content of invariants and symmetry transformations is determined. The performed comparison makes it possible to construct expressions for analogs of momentum, angular momentum, energy, Lorentz transformations, and other characteristics of special relativity and electro-dynamics. The expressions for the Lagrange function are defined, and the conservation laws are derived. An analogy is drawn both in the case of the absence of sources and currents in the Maxwell equations and in their presence.
