The dynamic behavior of a quick-acting hydraulic fuse is investigated here by analysis and experiment. The fuse has a very short response time and is designed to respond to pressure and flow transients that immediately follow a line rupture. In view of the short response time, a proper dynamic analysis of the entire hydraulic circuit is necessary, in addition to analysis of the fuse behavior. Dynamic models of the fuse and other hydraulic circuit elements used in the experimental setup are presented. The experiments consist of simulating line leaks and measuring fuse response, under a variety of operating conditions. Experimental and analytical results are in very good agreement if the leak transients are properly characterized.

<p class="0abstract"><strong>Abstract—</strong>This paper introduces the general purposes, hypotheses and designs of the lexical decision task and compares the results of several existing studies. Based on previous studies, three hypotheses are proposed. Then, it illustrates a two-lexical decision task designed and completed by the Research School of Psychology, Australian National University. In comparison with traditional lexical decision task, the two-string lexical decision task further tests participants’ response time to non-words and words. The results of the current two-string lexical decision task experiment verify the validity of previous studies on the one hand, while on the other hand, do not fully support the statement that participants would make faster responses to unrelated words than unrelated non-words. The findings of the current study directly provide cognitive processes for English lexical differentiation and learning, which could give hints to English lexical teaching and acquisition.</p>

Zero-valent iron FENTON-like technology can effectively degrade p-Nitrophenol.The best conditions for experimental study : pH=2~3,PNP initial concentration of 100 mg/L, 30%H2O2dosing volume is 3.0mg/L,zero-valent iron dosing quantity is 4.000g/L,in which after the response time of 20min,the removal rate of PNP achieves more than 95%.
