A modular high-pressure chamber is described. This chamber will allow stable microelectrode recordings to be made for a variety of intracellular preparations at pressure of 200-300 atmospheres absolute. Its features include internal temperature control, easy visibility, continuous perfusion, electrical penetrations, and manipulation of several internal controls while the system is at pressure. The small size and high versatility of the Wilson chamber make it a convenient and inexpensive research unit for experiments in the moderately high-pressure ranges that affect biological preparations.

According to the nonlinear and parameters time-varying characteristics of stripper temperature control system, the PVC stripping process Generalized Predictive Control based on implicit algorithm is proposed. Firstly, supporting vector machine is adopted to dynamically modelize for the stripper temperature; Secondly, combining with real-time model linearized of nonlinear model, a predictive model is linearized for real-time online correction. Then, the implicit algorithm is used for optimal control law. Finally, the simulation results show that the algorithm has excellent validity and robustness of temperature control of the stripper.

Melt pool temperature is of great importance to deposition quality in laser metal deposition processes. To control the melt pool temperature, an empirical process model describing the relationship between the temperature and process parameters (i.e., laser power, powder flow rate, and traverse speed) is established and verified experimentally. A general tracking controller using the internal model principle is then designed. To examine the controller performance, three sets of experiments tracking both constant and time-varying temperature references are conducted. The results show the melt pool temperature controller performs well in tracking both constant and time-varying temperature references even when process parameters vary significantly. However a multilayer deposition experiment illustrates that maintaining a constant melt pool temperature does not necessarily lead to uniform track morphology, which is an important criteria for deposition quality. The reason is believed to be that different melt pool morphologies may have the same temperature depending on the dynamic balance of heat input and heat loss.

The electric boiler as object controlloed has the characteristics of nonlinear, time-varying and large lag, and the temperature control system of it has been a challenge. In order to improve the control performance, a novel temperature control system was designed. The system consists of temperature controller, temperature acquisition, temperature display, serial communication, and warning circuit. The core controller was relized by DSP 2407, which can execute advanced control algorithm. A hybird control algorithm was presented, which mergeed PID and fuzzy control. Simulation experiment of PID and presented algorithms were carried on respectively, and the simulation results showed that the system designed has good dynamic and still performance. Furthermore, the system is simple and has a certain application value.

Temperature control has direct effect on mouth feel of fruit and vegetable processing products. This paper, by analyzing the control requirements of cucumber slices processing water temperature, proposes to control the water temperature for cucumber slice processing production line by using fuzzy immune PID. With the features of time-varying, nonlinear and hysteretic nature for temperature control, this paper designs fuzzy immune PID controller by borrowing the regulating action of immune system and linking the advantages of immune PID controller.

Based on detailed analysis of crystal process in Chloroacetic Acid (MCA)’s production, a certain control method is exert on it. In order to overcome the time delay ,large inertia, time-varying ,a fuzzy Smith intelligent method is proposed.Simulation results show that this method apparently is superior to the general PID control and Smith control.

In order to analyze the emission performance during the process of refueling, the mathematical models of refueling emission for vehicle under the proper simplified conditions were established based on the principle of time-varying and mass transfer in this paper. The models were applied to calculate the refueling emission rate of the fuel tank with and without a charcoal canister respectively, and simulation results of the model were analyzed numerically. Conclusions can be obtained as follows: the refueling emission rate of the fuel tank is 1.1201g / L without a charcoal canister; and 1.0815g / L with one, which is 3 - 4% less than the former on average. In addition, the refueling emission rate is positive related to the average temperature of the fuel tank, fuel average temperature and fuel Reid vapor pressure (RVP).
