Trabulsiella odontotermitisrepresents a novel species in the genusTrabulsiellawith no complete genome reported yet. Here, we describe the draft genome sequences of five isolates from termites present in the north of Mexico, which have an interesting pool of genes related to cellulose degradation with biotechnological application.

Surface water systems in South Africa are experiencing a major decline in quality due to various anthropogenic factors. This poses a possible health risk for humans. Here, we present the draft genome sequences of three Clostridium perfringens isolates obtained from a fecally polluted river system in the North West province of South Africa.

We report here the draft genome sequences of six bacteria isolated from the near-bottom waters and surface sediments of the Benham Bank, Philippine Rise, Philippines. These genome sequences represent candidate novel species and/or strains from the families Flavobacteriaceae and Dermacoccaceae and the genera Idiomarina, Bacillus, and Vibrio.

ABSTRACT Actinomyces sp. strain Chiba101, isolated from an arthritic leg joint of a pig raised in Japan, is a bacterium closely related to Actinomyces denticolens. Here, we deciphered the complete genome sequence of Actinomyces sp. Chiba101 and the high-quality draft genome sequence of A. denticolens DSM 20671T.

ABSTRACT Here, we announce the draft genome sequences of two Clostridium strains, C8-1-8 and C2-6-12, isolated from the cecal contents of commercial broiler chickens (in Athens, GA). These strains may represent potentially novel species within the genus Clostridium, and these draft genomes allow further investigation into potential probiotics for poultry.

ABSTRACT We report the complete genome sequence of the Campylobacter concisus type strain ATCC 33237 and the draft genome sequences of eight additional well-characterized C. concisus strains. C. concisus has been shown to be a genetically heterogeneous species, and these nine genomes provide valuable information regarding the diversity within this taxon.

ABSTRACT The complete genome sequence of a Shiga toxin-producing Escherichia coli (STEC) O26:H11 strain, MBT-5 (sequence type 21 [ST21], stx1a, stx2a, eae, ehxA), and two draft genome sequences of Listeria monocytogenes strains MBT-6 and MBT-7 belonging to the virulent sequence types 1 (ST1, clonal complex 1 [CC1]) and 59 (ST59, CC59), respectively, were determined. The strains were isolated in 2015 from ready-to-eat mixed greens in Germany.

We report here the genome sequences of two index strains of Pacific salmon paramyxovirus isolated in 1982 and 1983 from adult salmon in Oregon. The isolates are most closely related to Atlantic salmon paramyxovirus, the type species of the genus Aquaparamyxovirus, but are sufficiently distinct to be considered two genotypes of a novel species.

ABSTRACT We present the draft genomes of two strains previously identified as Neptuniibacter sp. LFT 1.8 (= CECT 8936 = DSM 100781) and ATR 1.1 (= CECT 8938 = DSM 100783) isolated from larvae of great scallops (Pecten maximus) and seawater, respectively. Both strains surely constitute two novel species in this genus, with putative applications for aromatic compound degradation.

This is the announcement of draft genome sequences for Staphylococcus aureus strains belonging to sequence type 97 (ST97) and ST71. These sequence types are commonly associated with bovine mastitis, and the strains were isolated in Ireland in 2010 from the milk of cows with clinical mastitis.

ABSTRACT Colletotrichum lindemuthianum is the causal agent of anthracnose in common beans, one of the main limiting factors of their culture. Here, we report for the first time, to our knowledge, a draft of the complete genome sequences of two isolates belonging to 83.501 and 89 A2 2-3 of C. lindemutuianum.
