Purpose Despite the huge capital outlay in tertiary education building projects (TEBP), these projects undoubtedly failed in meeting the set objectives of cost, time and quality, among others. Therefore, rather than the impacts of risks on the overall project performance, which is common in the construction management literature, the purpose of this study is to assess the impacts of risk factors on the criteria for measuring the success of public TEBP. Design/methodology/approach The paper adopted a quantitative research method where the data collection was via a questionnaire survey. The researcher administered 452 questionnaires to the client representatives, consultants and contractors involved in building projects across five public tertiary education institutions in Ondo State, Nigeria. Of 452 questionnaires, 279 were retrieved and suitable for the analysis, translating to a 61.73% response rate. The reliability analysis of the research instrument showed 0.965 and 0.807, via Cronbach’s alpha test, indicating high reliability of the instrument used for data collection. Findings The study found different risk factors affecting the criteria for measuring the success of TEBP. For instance, the environmental risk factor significantly impacted completion to cost, while financial and political risk factors significantly impacted completion to time. In addition, while environmental, legal and management risks significantly impacted end-user satisfaction, safety performance was significantly impacted by logistic, legal, design, construction, political and management risks. Besides, the logistic, legal, design, construction, financial, political and management risk factors impacted profit. However, despite profit being one of the criteria for measuring the success of building projects, it recorded the highest risk impacts amounting to 41% variance. Research limitations/implications The findings are limited to the public tertiary education building projects procured via competitive tendering; therefore, the results might differ when considering other procurement methods. Practical implications The practical implication is that rather than focusing on all risk factors, the project stakeholders could give adequate attention to the significant risk factors impacting each of the parameters for measuring the success of education building projects. Originality/value The study revealed specific risk factors impacting the criteria for measuring the success of TEBP, which extend beyond the use of the overall project performance approach.

Traditional academic transcripts are usually restricted to demonstrating stu-dents’ achievements and experiences during college life. As an example of extended transcripts, this study aims to introduce the development process behind an end-user product for a project performance evaluation system (PPES), which supports conducting project performance evaluations and generates project performance transcripts at a university. The first part of the study described the design process of the PPES. A user group of instructors, which continuously provided feedback on the prototype design, was formed. Consequently, the PPES was successfully developed and several main inter-faces of the PPES were presented. The second part of the study analyzed user satisfaction with the PPES and the project performance transcripts it pro-duced. In general, students perceived the project performance transcripts positively, and instructors were satisfied with both the PPES and its tran-scripts. The implications of developing a project performance evaluation sys-tem were discussed.

The use of Accounting Information System (AIS) is very helpful in accommodating all the information needed to make an accurate decision. Indicators in determining the good and bad performance of an information system can be seen through AIS user satisfaction and usage. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of top management support, system quality and information quality on AIS user satisfaction. The sample selection method used was purposive sampling. The research sample was 147 people consisting of administrators, loan officers and savings at 29 Lembaga Perkreditan Desa (LPD) in Ubud Subdistrict. The data in this study is primary data which is the answer from the questionnaire. The regression results show that all variables have a significance of 0,000. It shows that top management support, system quality and information quality have positive influences on Accounting Information System user satisfaction.

The Influence of Location and Facilities Against Satisfaction of Container Unloading Service User at PT Pelabuhan Indonesia IV (Persero) Merauke Branch.This study aims to determine how much influence the location and facilities to the satisfaction of service users. Locations have indicators: access, visibility, traffic and facilities have indicators: organizational characteristics and objectives, land availability and space and space requirements, flexibility, aesthetic factors, communities and the environment, construction and operation costs while service user satisfaction has indicators: customer satisfaction , dimensions of customer satisfaction, confirmation of expectations, repurchase interest, willingness to recommend, customer dissatisfaction.The method used in this research is quantitative method by using the technique of processing descriptive data, data collecting technique with interviews, questionnaires and literature study. Sampling technique used incidental sampling. The measurement using likert scale and processed using SPSS version 23 program to calculate the validity and reliability test, calculate hypothesis test that is t test, f test and coefficient of determination. The result of research shows that location and facility variables together have a positive influence on service user satisfaction at PT Pelabuhan Indonesia IV (Persero) Merauke Branch. This can be proven from the result of F count 39.984> 3.11 with significance level 0.000 ≤ 0.05, then Ho is rejected Ha accepted. Itcan be concluded there is a positive and significant relationship between location and facility to the satisfaction of service users of loading and unloading of containers at PT Pelabuhan Indonesia IV (Persero) Merauke Branch.The result of research shows that location and facility variables together have a positive influence on service user satisfaction at PT Pelabuhan Indonesia IV (Persero) Merauke Branch. This can be proven from the result of F count 39.984> 3.11 with significance level 0.000 ≤ 0.05, then Ho is rejected Ha accepted.
