Rosenzweig a study of frustration reactions showed that there is a self-protective type and extra punitive direction of the reaction occurs most often among the athletes. R. Cattell's 16PF questionnaire showed a high level of emotional instability and frustration among female ath-letes. By the results of R. Cattell and G. Eisenko testing methods, only 36% of students are characterized by the ability to correctly place emphasis in a frustrating situa-tion. The practical implementation of the idea of psychologi-cal support of gymnasts in the formation of personality was represented in the form of a practical training-seminar. There were 16 classes, 3 hours a class. The seminar included elements of socio-psychological training, counseling sessions, thematic classes and other forms of work, which were implemented on the basis of an inte-grated approach. The program of the seminar included the following blocks: the ideal image of a successful athlete, the formation of emotional - volitional regulation of gym-nasts, self-knowledge of athletes and skills of value choice. Retesting after working with athletes showed that the attitude of gymnasts to difficult and stressful situations of sports has changed. The number of decisive behavioral strategies in difficult situations has increased, the number of self-defense has decreased. There is a positive trend in the number of positive emotions and experiences. The analysis of self-reports of the experimental group showed that more than 85% of respondents noted an increase in self-confidence, desire for self-development, reduced internal tensions. The intervention group encompassed MS of the 4th -year (class of 2019), and the control group encompassed MS of year behind (class of 2020). A questionnaire to measure self-confidence in fundoscopy technique assessing optic nerve, cup-to-disc ratio and macula was translated and validated to Portuguese, and applied 1-month and 1-year after practical training. Results One-hundred and sixty-seven MS were enrolled (35 PO group, 38 CO group, and 94 control group). PO group had a significantly higher overall self-confidence comparing either control or CO groups, respectively (3.57 ± 0.65 vs. 2.97 ± 1.03 vs. 2.46 ± 0.87, p < 0.01) as well as in evaluate cup-to-disc ratio (3.09 ± 0.75 vs. 2.32 ± 0.87 vs. 1.46 ± 0.81, p < 0.01), optic disc margins (3.26 ± 0.85 vs. 2.71 ± 0.96 vs. 2.01 ± 0.97, p < 0.01) and macula (3.43 ± 1.12 vs. 2.89 ± 1.08 vs. 2.02 ± 0.89, p < 0.01) 1-month after practical training. One-year after intervention, CO group showed a significantly higher score compared to PO group in overall self-confidence (3.31 ± 0.69 vs. 3.18 ± 0.73, p = 0.03) and in optic disc margins assessing (3.16 ± 0.85 vs. 2.95 ± 0.78, p = 0.03), but not significant in the evaluation of cup-to-disc ratio (2.78 ± 0.97 vs. 2.68 ± 0.94, p = 0.08), and macula (3.34 ± 0.79 vs. 3.27 ± 0.98, p = 0.07). Conclusions Students were more confident in use PO as an instrument to perform direct ophthalmoscopy immediately after practical training, but confidence level of CO was higher compared to PO one year after practical training. These findings would help medical schools decide which ophthalmoscope to choose to teach fundus examination.

Introduction. The socio-economic and political processes taking place in modern Russia pose new challenges to the student youth, as the most active subject of these processes. Ten years ago, it was enough for a qualified engineer to have professional knowledge, skills and abilities, but today, according to the requirements of higher education, he must have a management culture, information competence and legal literacy. The purpose of the study is to study the legal literacy of students of a technical university. Materials and methods. The materials of the study were the data of an anonymous sociological survey of 124 respondents – students of the Stupino branch of the Moscow Aviation Institute (National Research University) of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th courses of full-time and part-time education by filling out Google forms. The obtained data allowed us to study the knowledge of the students of the technical university in the field of the basics of legal literacy. Results. Analysis of the data of a sociological survey of students' opinions showed that the overwhelming majority (96.5%) support the introduction of in-depth study of law enforcement practice in the educational process of a technical university. Students admitted (94.4% of respondents) that knowledge of the basics of civil, labor, tax, administrative and other branches of law will help them in their professional activities; 38.4% believe that they need additional knowledge in the field of law, while 62.9% had experience in concluding a civil contract (purchase and sale of an apartment, car, contract, delivery, provision of services, etc.), but 41.5% used the services of specialists (realtor, labor dispute commission, lawyers, etc.). Conclusion. Today, legal literacy of students determines the understanding of their role, opportunities and responsibilities in society, knowledge of their rights and obligations. Obtaining the necessary legal knowledge and skills for professional activity will allow students to independently understand the current laws, legal norms, understand them and apply them in their professional activities.

A study conducted during September 2003 included 80 participants grouped into 3 categories, who occupied different posts in the Agricultural (and Fisheries) Development Centers (ADC). A questionnaire covering various elements of extension methods and techniques was used. Result showed that participant's opinions were identical in 90.6% of the aspects put forward in the questionnaire. There were, however, significant differences in opinions between the three groups involved in the study regarding representation of ministry extension personnel at village levels, availability of media equipment and facilities in the ADC and level of training of extension staff. The study also showed the need for a complementary extension structure at ABC level, development of an appropriate relationship between extension and agricultural research and more technical and practical training for extension staff. The participants also emphasized the relative importance of providing extension means and outputs for demonstration of plots to target groups, the availability of media equipment and the necessity for developing techniques for better execution and evaluation of extension programs. Research priorities should also be linked with problems related to agricultural production at farm level in Oman.
