Virtual commerce applies immersive technology such as augmented reality and virtual reality into e-commerce to shift consumer perception from 2D product catalogs to 3D immersive virtual spaces. In virtual commerce, the alignment of application design paradigms and the factors influencing consumer behavior is paramount to promote purchase of products and services. The question of their relation needs to be answered, together with the possible improvement of application design. This paper used a systematic literature review approach to synthesize research on virtual commerce from both application design and consumer behavior research, considering the promotion of purchase in virtual commerce settings. Throughout the review, influential factors to purchase and preeminent design artifacts were identified. Then, the research gaps were discovered by mapping the design artifacts to the influential factors, which can inspire future research opportunities on the synergy of these two research directions. Moreover, the evolution of virtual commerce research along with multiple directions were discussed, including the suggestion of meta-commerce as a future trend.

In this era of technology, people rely on online posted reviews before buying any product. These reviews are very important for both the consumers and people. Consumers and people use this information for decision making while buying products or investing money in any product. This has inclined the spammers to generate spam or fake reviews so that they can recommend their products and beat the competitors. Spammers have developed many systems to generate the bulk of spam reviews within hours. Many techniques, strategies have been designed and recommended to resolve the issue of spam reviews. In this paper, a complete review of existing techniques and strategies for detecting spam review is discussed. Apart from reviewing the state-of-the-art research studies on spam review detection, a taxonomy on techniques of machine learning for spam review detection has been proposed. Moreover, its focus on research gaps and future recommendations for spam review identification.

This research aims to explore the research domain of IT governance in the SME context. To meet this objective, a small systematic literature review procedure is used. Results indicate that IT governance in the SME context has been researched previously, albeit not extensively. There seems to be consensus among authors that IT governance is important for SMEs as well as larger organizations. Additionally, many authors indicate that SME specificities will likely influence the nature and implementation of IT governance in the SME context. There also appears to be no great variety in research strategies used in this niche research domain. Regarding the contemporary state of IT governance in SMEs, authors seem to indicate that there is room for improvement. Finally, there is no published framework for IT governance that is tailored for SMEs, although the need for this is directly reported in the literature. This paper concludes by discussing some potential directions for future research, starting from the state-of-the-art of the research domain.

The circular economy (CE) is a new paradigm that helps create convergence into a more sustainable society. This chapter shows the main findings of a systematic literature review examining the state of the art of the business concept of sustainability and CE and how scholars have focused on the implementation of circular and sustainable principles in sectors and firms. The main findings show a lack of consensus on definitions related to CE, creating confusion among firms. Final findings also show the challenges that businesses face and the main obstacles that explain why some organisations fail in the transition. Additionally, this review helps to highlight the main research gaps on the topic to encourage sustainability and circularity among firms. Whilst there are an increasing number of papers related to circularity and supply chains, few papers concern with dematerialising products and services. Another gap is the lack of quantitative studies measuring the impact of transitioning to sustainable and circular economies.

Policy transfer is not a new concept in public policy or political science research. However, there are many misconceptions about policy transfer from past scholars which fragmented policy understanding among political scientists and researchers. Hence, this paper aims to shed light on the basic concept of policy transfer and add value to the current literature especially in an academic context. This paper employed secondary data from the past ten years (2010-2020) derived from selected published resources of reputable databases specifically Scopus and ScienceDirect. There are four main stages in Systematic Literature Review (SLR) namely; (1) Pre-SLR, (2) Identification, (3) Screening, and (4) Eligibility. After considering the relevant articles from prior searching activities, 15 articles were reviewed systematically. Accordingly, five themes emerged to conclude the concept of policy transfer based on thematic analysis. This paper concludes with a summary of policy transfer discussion for future research and implications for policymakers were presented.
