The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of Scientific Approach with Guided Experiment on learning science to empower Science Process Skills. This study is a quasi-experimental research. The study design used Posttest Only Control Group Design is divided into two groups: an experimental group using a Scientific Approach with Guided Experiment and control groups using the method of lecture and discussion. The population in the study were all students of class V SD SD N Banjarejo Academic Year 2016/2017 by the number of 122 students. The sampling technique is cluster random sampling done by taking a sample of 37 fifth grade students in the experimental class A and 36 students of class V C in the control class. The instrument used was a questionnaire, observation sheets, interview and test. Data science process skills were tested by t-test. The results of the analysis of hypothesis testing using t-test with significance level of 5% yield significance at p = 0.000 and the value = 0.018. Classes that implement Scieintific aproach with Guided Experiment has an average KPS higher than the class without using Scieintific aproach with Guided Experiment in the amount of 82.34 and 71.14. Based on the results of hypothesis testing can dismpulkan that Scieintific aproach with Guided Experiment in empowering capabilities of Science Process Skills Student GradeV SD N Banjarejo Madiun Academic Year 2016/2017

<p class="5abstrak">The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of Scientific Approach to learning science by setting Problem Based Learning (PBL) to empower Science Process Skill (SPS). This study is a quasi-experimental research with Posttest Only Control Group Design which divided into two groups: an experimental group using a Scientific Approach to setting PBL and control groups using expository method and experiment. The population are 124 second semester students of the 2015/2016 academic year. Sample was selected randomly from classess, and two classes was selected, i.e II/F class consisted of 38 students was selected as experimental class, and 36 students of the II/D class was determined as control class. Data of Science Process Skills tested by t-test. Results of analysis of test of hypothesis with a significance level of 5%, shows that the result of significance at p = 0.000 with t-test = 0.016. It means the students' SPS in the experimental class was 83.64, or higher than the control class (73.32). It can be concluded that the Scientific Approach on learning science by setting Problem Based Learning as the method had revealed as an approach to improve Science Process Skill of students.</p>

This research aimed to find out the effectiveness of experiential learning (EL) model with mind mapping to improve the science process skills (SPS) on fungi materials. It was quasi-experiment research by using pre-test post-test control group design. The population of the study was all of the tenth-grade students of Kalasan State 1 Senior High School amount of 127 students in the odd semester in 2018/2019 of the school year. Sample techniques were cluster random sampling. The sample consisted of 26 students (10 students male and 16 students female) as the experiment class by implementing EL model with mind mapping and 26 students (9 students male and 17 students female) as control class by using 5M (observing, asking, collecting, associating, communicating) learning model. The used instrument was ten essay questions. The data of the research were analyzed by using t-test (independent sample t-test). Based on the result of the normalized gain score, it showed that there was an improve of SPS about 0,85 in the experiment class higher than that in the control class about 0,70. Besides, it also showed a significant value (2-tailed) that was 0,000 (<0,05). It meant that there was a difference in science process skills between the experiment class and control class, so the learning process through EL learning model with mind mapping proved useful to improve the students’ science process skills.

This study is an experimental aims to finding out the effect of problem based learning through experimental methods on student’s physics science process skills of SMA Negeri 1 Selong academic year 2014/2015. The design of this study used pretest-posttest control group design, while the sampling technique used cluster random sampling. The population of this study is students of grade X Science Program SMA Negeri 1 Selong, while the samples are the students of class X 1 (experimental group) and class X 4 (control group). The instrument of this study is the science process skills test. The result data was analyzed by t-test pooled variant two tails. Obtain values thint = 5.38, ttable = 1.99 at the significance level of 5%. Because - ttable < thint > + ttable, then Ho will be rejected and Ha will be accepted which indicates that there is significant the effect of problem based learning through the experimental method on physics science process skills of students of SMA Negeri 1 Selong academic year 2014/2015.

The purpose of this study is to find out whether there is an influence of the learning model Guided inquiry on the learning outcomes of science process skills of students at SMP Negeri 2 Wonoayu. The design of this study is the non-equivalent control group design. The samples used in this study were 2 classes with sampling techniques. Where from the two classes, one class is used as the experimental class, which is given treatment by using the guided inquiry learning model, while the next class is used as the control class by using the learning model that is usually used in the class. The research instrument used was a matter of science process skills with data collection techniques using the test method in the form of pre-test and post-test questions. Data analysis techniques are carried out using the "t" test. From the "t" test, the results show that there is a significant influence between the guided inquiry learning model on science process skills.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan mengenal warna pada anak yang dibelajarkan dengan pendekatan saintifik dan anak yang dibelajarkan dengan pendekatan konvensional pada anak kelompok A di Taman Kanak-kanak Gugus III Kecamatan Buleleng Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experiment) dengan rancangan non-equivalen post test only control group desain. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh anak kelompok A Taman Kanak-kanak Gugus III Kecamatan Buleleng yang berjumlah 89 anak. 40 anak yang terpilih sebagai sampel yang ditentukan dengan cararondom sampling. Sampel penelitian yaitu 20 anak kelompok A Taman Kanak-kanak Widya Kumara Banjar Jawa dan 20 anak kelompok A Taman Kanak-kanak Dana Punia. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode observasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis uji-t. Hasil analisis uji-t diperoleh thitung 10,341, sedangkan ttabel dengan dk pada taraf signifikan 5% adalah 2,021. Hal ni berarti nilai thitung lebih besar dari ttabel (10,341 > 2,021), Sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Adapun nilai rata-rata kemampuan mengenal warna pada anak yang dibelajarkan dengan pendekatan saintifik adalah 49,2, sedangkan pada anak yang dibelajarkan dengan pendekatan konvensional adalah 40,65. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan pendekatan saintifik perpengaruh terhadap kemampuan mengenal warna pada anak kelompok A di Taman Kanak-kanak Gugus III Kecamatan Buleleng Tahun Ajaran 2017.2018. The population of this research are all of group A students of gugus III Buleleng. There are 89 students. 40 students are as the samples that choosen by random sampling. 20 students are from group A of Widya Kumara Banjar Jawa kindergarten and 20 students are from Dana Punia kindergarden. The data obtained were analyzed using t- test analysis. The results of the t-test analysis are calculated as 10,341, while the table with dk at the 5% significance level is 2,021. This means the value of tcount is greater than table (10,341>2,021), so ho is rejected and ha accepted. The everage value of the ability to recognize color in stundents who were taught by scientific approach was 49,2, while in stundents who were taught by the conventional approach is 40,63. So, it can be concluded that with the scientific approach of influence on the ability to recognize the color of group A students of kindergarten Gugus III Buleleng in academic year 2017/2018. This study aims to determine the application of science process skills to improve chemistry learning outcomes at SMK Negeri 3 Mataram. This study used a quasi-experimental design with pre-test post-test control group design. Sampling was done by using purposive sampling technique. The research sample for the experimental class were 37 students and 37 students in the control class. Data were retreived using multiple choice test that has been tested for its validity. Data were analyzed using independent sample t-test at a significance level of 0.05. N-Gain value calculation was also used to determine the chemistry learning outcome. The result showed that value of N-Gain in the experimental and control group were 0,45 and 0,42 respectively. The results showed that the science process skills approach increased students learning outcomes to medium category. The results of the t-test in both groups were shown not to be significant (α = 0.05). It can be concluded that there is no significant learning outcomes improvement of experimental group in comparison to the control group.Keywords: Science process skills, Learning outcomes

<p>The aim of this research is to ascertain the influence of guided inquiry based joyful learning (interjoy) learning models toward science process skills of X grade students at SMA Negeri 2 Surakarta in academic year 2012/2013. This research was quasi experiment research which used posttest only nonequivalent control group design. This research applied guided inquiry based joyful learning (interjoy) learning models in experimental group and direct instruction learning models in control group.  The population of this research was all of X grade students at SMA Negeri 2 Surakarta in academic year 2012/2013.   Sampling techniques used cluster sampling that choosed X.10 as experiment group and X.8 as control group. Data was collected using KPS test, observation sheet, and document.  The hypotheses analyzed by t-test. Abstract.  This study aims to determine the differences in learning outcomes and students' science process skills between classes using PBL models based on virtual simulations, PBL models based on practicum, and conventional learning. This quasi-experimental research uses nonequivalent control group design. The population of this research is VIII grade students of MTsN 2 Banjarmasin. The research sample is class VIII E as the control class, class VIII F as the experimental class I, and class VIII G as the experimental class II. Data collection uses test and observation techniques. Data analysis techniques use the Kruskall-Wallis test and descriptive analysis. The results showed that (1) There were differences in knowledge learning outcomes between experimental class I, experimental class II, and control class (2) There were differences in students' science process skills between experimental class I, experimental class II, and control class. Keywords: Problem Based Learning, Virtual Simulation, Practicum, Knowledge Learning Results, Science Process Skills Abstrak. Abstract The GI-GI learning model is a combination of the Group Investigation and the Guided Inquiry model. The research aimed to examine the effect of the GI-GI learning model on collaboration and students’ science process skills. The type of research carried out was Quasi-Experimental and used a post-test only control group design and purposive sampling covering four high schools in the Besuki Residency, two classes as the experimental class and the control class. The research instrument used tests, observations, and documentation. The results showed a significant effect of the GI-GI learning model on collaboration and students’ science process skills. This research implies that the GI-GI learning model can condition students to research in groups to interact actively with friends and educators to exchange opinions, knowledge, or experiences, find and solve problems, and hypothesize through investigation, exploration, and discussion outside or inside in class.

The average grade of learning outcomes in class V is low. That is because students' fear of learning and the teacher is not optimal in creating a pleasant atmosphere. This study aims to understand mathematics learning outcomes between students who are taught with example non example learning models assisted with video media and students who are taught discovery learning models assisted with video media in the mathematics subjects of class V. This study includes quasi-experimental uses non-equivalent post designs test only control group design with a population of class V students totaling 128 students. Sampling using a random sampling technique, with a total of 43 students. Mathematics learning outcome data is collected by a test method that is multiple choice objective tests. Mathematical learning outcomes data were analyzed using polled variance t-test. Based on the t-test obtained t count = 7.78> t table = 2.021 at a significance level of 5% (a= 0.05) with db = n1 + n2 - 2 = 43 - 2 = 41 then H0 is rejected. The results of the study prove that the example non example learning model assisted by video media influences on mathematics learning outcomes. The results of this study can be used as a theoretical basis or further learning guidelines to improve learning outcomes, especially mathematics.
