Neste artigo, apresentamos uma investigação acerca das percepções de alunos que cursam Licenciatura em Matemática na Universidade Eduardo Mondlane, em Moçambique, sobre o querer ser professor de Matemática. A metodologia insere-se na abordagem qualitativa e o instrumento de produção das informações foi um questionário composto de questões dissertativas. O corpus da pesquisa foi examinado pelo método da Análise Textual Discursiva, o qual permitiu evidenciar: afinidade com a Matemática do ensino secundário como fator que impulsionou o gosto pela disciplina; e desejo em aprender e em ensinar como forma de compartilhar conhecimento e contribuir com o ensino da Matemática. In this article we present an investigation about the perception of the students that study in the Bachelor of Mathematics at the Eduardo Mondlane University, in Mozambique, about the willing to be a Mathematics teacher. The methodology is part of the qualitative approach and the instrument of the production of the information was a questionnaire composed by essay questions. The corpus of the research was examined by the Discourse Textual Analysis method, which is allowed showing affinity with the mathematics from the high school as a factor that boosted the pleasure of the subject mentioned above and about the desire to learn and teach as a way to share knowledge and contribute with the mathematics formation.

The aim of this study is to know the culture and religion value contains in an English textbook for junior high school. Culture and religion have integrated into each utterance that is in the textbook. The study used the qualitative approach through a content analysis method. The procedure value analysis used Byram’s theory. Data were taken from an utterance in each chapter. The result of the data analysis found that belief and behaviour have 22,8%, socialization and life cycle has 60%, stereotypes and national identity has 11,4%, and Social and political institution has 5,8%. The value that dominates in the textbook is socialization and life cycle. The material in the textbook concern to a local and simple concept.

The use of mixed code in learning can create a communicative atmosphere and students easily understand the subject matter delivered. This study aims to prove the influence of mixed code usage in learning on the Indonesian language writing skills of class VIII students at Pademawu 1 Public High School year 2017/2019. Data collection techniques in this study used tests. Data analysis in this study uses a statistical analysis method in the form of a test. The result of tcount = 2.213 which is then consulted with ttable. With dk = (32 + 31-2) = 61 obtained ttable at significant level 5 & is 1.671. From this value it appears that t count> t table is 2,213> 1,671. This means that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. The results of this study can be concluded "there is an influence of the use of mixed code in learning on the ability to write Indonesian language class VIII students at Pademawu 1 Public High School year 2017/2018".

The Garnier green beauty campaign conveys a message to the public through advertising media. The message is conveyed to the public regarding environmental activities that have a sustainable meaning. The green beauty campaign through advertising media shows Garnier's environmental friendly actions. Cause consumer behavior that turns into a form of responsible attitude. The purpose of this study was to determine the meaning of the sustainability of the green beauty campaign through Garnier's cosmetic advertising media. Researchers used a qualitative approach with Ferdinand de Saussure's semiotic analysis method which was signifier and signified. Methods of data collection with the method of documentation. The object of research was through the green beauty campaign advertisement and the subject of Garnier. The one-minute green beauty campaign ad is divided into seven scenes. The results of this study found the meaning of sustainability, by taking real action to become green beauty. Being green beauty is explained through verbal and non-verbal signs. Marked by each scene of the Garnier green beauty campaign advertisement, the meaning of sustainability is found. The real action starts from the production process to processing Garnier cosmetic waste.Kampanye Garnier green beauty menyampaikan pesan kepada masyarakat melalui media iklan. Pesan yang disampaikan kepada khalayak mengenai kegiatan peduli lingkungan yang memiliki makna berkesinambungan. Kampanye green beauty melalui media iklan menunjukan aksi nyata Garnier yang ramah lingkungan. Menyebabkan perilaku konsumen yang berubah menjadi wujud sikap yang bertanggung jawab. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui makna kesinambungan dari kampanye green beauty melalui media iklan kosmetik Garnier. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis semiotika Ferdinand de Saussure secara signifier dan signified. Metode pengumpulan data dengan metode dokumentasi. Objek penelitian melalui iklan kampanye green beauty dan subjek Garnier. Iklan kampanye green beauty yang berdurasi satu menit dibagi menjadi tujuh scene. Hasil Penelitian ini menemukan makna kesinambungan, dengan melakukan aksi nyata menjadi green beauty. Menjadi green beauty dijelaskan melalui tanda secara verbal dan non verbal. Ditandai melalui setiap scene iklan kampanye Garnier green beauty memiliki makna kesinambungan yang ditemukan. Aksi nyata dimulai dari proses produksi sampai pengolahan limbah kosmetik Garnier.

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to determine the learning process and to analyze the problem of learning chemistry in senior high school. The approach used in this study was a qualitative approach. This mini research was conducted at Eria Medan Private Senior High School in 2017. Research subjects were selected by purposive sampling of 35 Mathematic and Natural Science 1, students grade XI. Data were collected and recorded using observation sheet to measure teacher activities. Students responses were obtained using a questionnaire. The result identified some problems that may inhibit the learning process. Only 37,14 % students were happy to complete or practice with questions and 42.85% of students are actively involved in the learning process. In addition, 80% of students stated that the chemistry books used were less interesting and only 20% of students stated their chemistry book was interesting to read.This study also found that there are misconceptions in teaching concept in the subject of chemical equilibrium.

The purpose of this study was to describe how to implement the REACT strategy to develop students’ mathematical representation, reasoning, and disposition ability. This research was a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The subject of this study was grade 8 junior high school student in Bandung. Data collection techniques in this study with observations, interviews, and documentation. Based on data analysis results, it could be concluded that REACT strategies can be applied to develop a mathematical representation, reasoning, and disposition ability that engages students actively. Implementation of the REACT strategy runs smoothly and gets enthusiastic responses from students. The application of REACT strategies should be undertaken sustainably so that the learning objectives can be achieved by integrating various mathematical skills that were capable.

This research is backed by a low interest condition of reading communities among children and adolescents in Kp. BBC Village of Cihampelas West Bandung Regency. Especially the students in the junior high School of Insan Litera and any strategy that can be used as an effort to inspire reading. The purpose of this research is (1) to know the strategy to build a community to learn. (2) To know the process of student Readathon activity in Sekolah Alam SMP Insan Litera. The theories used in this research include the concept of community fond of learning, and the concept of Readathon. The method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. The location of research in Sekolah Alam SMP Insan Litera which is under the auspices of Bening Saguling Foundation and which is the subject of research is all students of Sekolah Alam SMP Insan Litera, amounting to 11 people, principals, and also representatives of one teacher. Based on the research results that Readathon has carried out well. In this readathon there are several activities carried out consisting of 4 stages of 1) the implementation of Readathon routinely once a week, carried out on Thursday. With the target one student finished reading one book one week. 2) reading book read by PPL students who act as tutors. 3) Discussion of read books packed with fun games or quizzes. 4) Create a geulis tree (literacy Movement) where the student who has completed reading one book writes his name and the title of his book later in the Geulis tree. The condition of learning interest in students is also quite high, visible from students ' participation in following learning programs.

ABSTRACT           This study aims to analyze the strategy of forming student’s personal resilience based on Pancasila values to build state awareness in Taruna Nusantara High School. This research uses a qualitative approach to the type of case study. Determination of the subject using a purposive technique. Data collection using observation and interview. The data analysis component uses interactive models while the validity of the data uses member check. The results showed that there were several strategies in the formation of personal endurance based on Pancasila values to build state awareness in Taruna Nusantara High School, namely (1) acculturation of Pancasila values through school culture using the exemplary and participatory approach of all school members, (2) carrying out project activities and, (3) the teacher carries out innovative learning. The formation of self-defense based on Pancasila values is important because it can produce a strong personality, nationalistic spirit, and be able to restore national identity.ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi pembentukan ketahanan pribadi berbasis nilai-nilai Pancasila untuk membangun kesadaran bernegara di SMA Taruna Nusantara. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Penentuan subjek menggunakan teknik purposive. Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan observasi dan wawancara. Komponen analisis data menggunakan interactive models sedangkan keabsahan data menggunakan member check. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa strategi dalam pembentukan ketahanan pribadi berbasis nilai-nilai Pancasila untuk membangun kesadaran bernegara di SMA Taruna Nusantara, yaitu (1) pembudayaan nilai-nilai Pancasila melalui budaya sekolah dengan menggunakan pendekatan keteladanan dan partisipastif dari semua warga sekolah, (2) melaksanakan kegiatan terproyek dan, (3) guru melaksanakan pembelajaran yang inovatif. Pembentukan ketahanan diri siswa berbasis nilai-nilai Pancasila penting untuk dilakukan karena dapat menghasilkan pribadi yang tangguh, berjiwa nasionalis, dan mampu mengembalikan jati diri bangsa

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Qur'an's tahfidz program by using social media at Senior Islamic High School of Sunan Giri Semampir Surabaya. The type of this research is a field research that the location is Senior Islamic High School of Sunan Giri as the executor of the Qur'an's memorizing extracurricular activities by looking for qualitative approach. The subject of this study involved the head of the school, the Trustees of the Qur’an memorizing program  and participants of male and female students. Data collection using the method of observation, interviews and documentation. This Study uses the analytical method of Miles Huberman model with three steps, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The result of this research is: First, the Tahfidz Program in MA Sunan Giri Surabaya is a new program with memorization of 5 juz for students who stay in dormitory and 2 juz for non-boarding students. Second, the process of implementing memorization through social media, with 3 stages, namely: 1) Reading together verses to be memorized, 2) Memorizing students at their homes with the assistance of parents, 3) students' memorizes to the teacher through video calls. Third, the implementation of the Qur’an’s memorizing program went well as expected as the program is usually in the school

Objects become one of the discussions in both Indonesian and Arabic grammar which serves to form basic sentences in sentences that are transitive predicated, clarify the meaning of sentences, and form a unity or completeness of mind. Therefore, the author will examine the differences and similarities about objects or maf'ulbih in Arabic and Indonesian so that a learner will easily understand the structure of the sentence in texts with different themes. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach with content analysis method. The research data are in the form of Arabic object structures in the Al-Jazirah Online newspaper and the structure of Indonesian objects in the Tempo kora. The results of this study are the equations of the structure of objects in Arabic and Indonesian, the equations concerning the type of words used, namely both nouns both in Indonesian and Arabic. The differences in the structure of the objects of the two languages ​​can be seen from the order of placement of objects, in Arabic the object may overtake the subject and the predicate does not have to be after the predicate, but in Indonesian it is not like that.

Abstract: Gender distinction have resulted in differences in the roles of men and women in society. In such a way, this gender distinction is inherent in the perspective of society, so that this distinction is considered permanent. This study aims to determine whether there is an element of gender bias in Islamic high school education textbooks. This study used a qualitative approach and was analyzed using descriptive methods. As for what will be analyzed in this study is the thoughts of Muslims about gender differences, especially those contained in Islamic religious education textbooks at high schools. The technique used to analyze documents is Ethnographic Content Analysis or a study of qualitative media content, which is an integrative and more conceptual analysis method to find, identify, process and analyze documents to understand their meaning, significance and relevance. The results show which is in Islamic religious education text books for Senior High School found that there are two central problems that contain elements of gender bias, namely the first issue of fiqh which includes an explanation of; requirements for Hajj and Umrah travel for women, limits on male and female genitalia, grave pilgrimages, munakahat (marriage guardians, marriage witnesses, husband and wife obligations, and about leaders in the family). The second is a matter of morals that governs the manners of dress and decoration for men and women.Keywords: Gender, Islamic Religious TextbooksAbstrak: Adanya perbedaaan antara laki-lai dan perempuan secara fisik telah membuat sudut pandang yang berbeda di tengah masyarakat, sehingga perbedaan ini dianggap sesuatu yang permanen. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis perbedaan gender yang ada pada Buku Pendidikan Agama Islam untuk tingkat Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA). Melalui pendekatan teori equilibrium yang tidak mempertentangkan perbedaan kaum laki-laki dan perempuan karena kaum laki-laki dan perempuan adalah mitra dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan dianalisis dengan metode deskriptif. Adapun yang akan dianalisis dalam penelitian ini adalah pemikiran umat Islam tentang perbedaan gender, terutama yang tertuang dalam buku pelajaran pendidikan agama Islam Sekolah Menengah Atas. Untuk menganalisis data dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode kualitatif dengan Ethnographyc Content Analysis, yang berarti menganalisis metode integrative yang lebih konseptual untuk menemukan, mengidentifikasi, mengolah dan menganalisis dokumen untuk memahami makna, signifikansi dan relevansinya. Hasil penelitian terhadap buku-buku teks pendidikan agama Islam untuk Sekolah Menengah Atas ditemukan ada dua persoalan sentral yang mengandung unsur bias gender, yaitu pertama persoalan fiqih yang mencakup penjelasan tentang; syarat perjalanan haji dan umrah bagi perempuan, batas aurat laki-laki dan perempuan, ziarah kubur, munakahat (wali nikah, saksi nikah, kewajiban suami istri, dan tentang pemimpin dalam keluarga). Kedua adalah persoalan akhlak yang mengatur tentang tata krama berpakaian dan berhias perempuan dan laki-lakiKata Kunci: Bias Gender, Buku Pelajaran Agama Islam
