Money does matter especially in the family life and it affects marital satisfaction and marital stability. The purposes of this study are to examine the relationship between financial strain and financial management practices, and marital satisfaction and marital stability. 278 married individuals were involved in this study who was within 5 years of marriage. The In-Charge Financial Distress/Financial Well-Being (IFDFW) Scale, Financial Management Behavior Scale (FMBS), Kansas Marital Satisfaction Scale (KMSS) and Marital Instability Index (MII) were used for data collection. Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation. The findings showed that there was significant relationship among financial strain, financial management practices, marital satisfaction, marital stability, financial management practices and marital satisfaction. Therefore, it can be concluded that financial does play an important role in satisfaction and stability of marriage.   Keywords: financial strain, financial management practices, marital satisfaction, marital stability.

Objective: Marital satisfaction is considered as satisfaction with a marital relationship on which the presence of a child has different effects. Concerns about a childfree life and its effect on marital satisfaction in infertile couples are very critical. Therefore, this study was intended to characterize and compare concerns about a childfree lifestyle and the need for parenthood and their relationship with marital satisfaction in infertile couples. Method: A total of 200 men and 200 women who referred to fertility centers in Tehran participated in this cross-sectional study. Convenience sampling method was used for sampling. Demographic survey, ENRICH Marital Satisfaction Scale, and Fertility Problem Inventory were used for data collection. The resulting data were analyzed using descriptive and analytical statistical tests (Pearson Correlation Coefficient and Stepwise Regression). Results: The mean scores for concern about a childfree lifestyle and the need for parenthood in women were significantly higher than in men. The variables rejection of a childfree lifestyle and the need for parenthood were respectively predictors of marital satisfaction in women and men. Conclusion: Since marital satisfaction in infertile couples is affected by their feelings about having a child and becoming a parent, it is therefore suggested that appropriate counseling be provided in supportive healthcare programs for infertile couples to promote their marital satisfaction.

Women have made an amazing progress personally, financially, and professionally however, with regards to the field of finance, an extensive effort to be done to become well performers comparing to the men. Therefore, women must begin understanding, and thinking the significance of money, savings, and its investment perspectives to overcome critical circumstances at any phase of their lives. Therefore, the major objective of this research is to investigate the relationships among financial management, savings and investment behavior, andfinancial well-being (FWB) of working women in the public sector in Malaysia. A sum of 722 respondents were selected using the multi-stage random sampling method in Malaysia. According to the financial status of working women, 39.2% felt that their assets were more than their debt, and 44.3% was said that their salary was sufficient to meet only their basic requirements. Furthermore, more than 80% of the respondents were followed good financial management practices such as, keeping updated records of the expenses, planning the expenses, doing investments monthly, keeping the loan payment on schedule, settling all the bills on time, and maintaining a savings account. Moreover, it also showed that Malaysian working women have good financial management practices which are indicated by their abilities in performing the savings and investment behaviors to manage their surplus money wisely in order to achieve higher FWB levels. Further, this study was detected some specific financial challenges that Malaysian public sector working women meet over their lifetime, and offered possible solutions for the present and future.

Objectives: Parental attachment is effective on parents’ feelings of commitment toward infant care and increases maternal efficiency. Given that the parity is considered as the main factor and moderator of the mother-infant interaction, the present study aimed to investigate the relationship between marital satisfaction with mother-infant attachment and breastfeeding self-efficacy and its comparison in primiparous and multiparous women. Materials and Methods: This descriptive-correlational study was carried out using a random sampling method. A total of 420 mothers having 4-6 months children were randomly selected from health centers in Ahvaz and enrolled in the study. The required data were collected using a demographic questionnaire, ENRICH marital satisfaction scale, Müller’s mother-infant attachment inventory, and Denis’s breastfeeding self-efficacy questionnaire. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS, version 20. Results: The findings revealed that the mean scores of marital satisfaction, mother-infant attachment, and breastfeeding self-efficacy was 136.57±19.76, 100.82±4.604, and 13.148±135.75 in primiparous women and the values of the same variables were 127.65±18.67, 9±95.31, and 138.66±13.889 in multiparous women, respectively. In addition, the Pearson correlation test showed that marital satisfaction was significantly correlated with mother-infant attachment in two groups of primiparous and multiparous mothers, as well as breastfeeding self-efficacy in multiparous mothers (P<0.05). Conclusions: In general, multiparous mothers are often neglected since most of the training and counseling services provided during the perinatal period focus on new mothers. Thus, this research supports the need for educating and informing parents regarding the importance of spousal support and its effect on improving family functions.

This study intends to explore the effect of Financial Attitude, Financial Literacy, and ParentalFinancial Socialization on the prudent financial management practices, amid the youth of Pakistan with moderating effect of Financial Well-Being. The population consist over the youth of Pakistan for which the data was collected through an online questionnaire. The study adopted the quantitative approach for which the data from 450 respondents was collected. Subsequently, the data was analyzed with the help of Smart PLS. The results indicated that Parental Financial Socialization, Financial Attitude, and Financial Literacy have a significant and positive relationship with Prudent Financial Management Practices. However, Financial Well-Being does not have significant moderating effect with Parental Financial Socialization, Financial Literacy, and FinancialAttitude. The results further highlighted serious concerns of the effectiveness of Financial Well-Being towards improving youth capabilities in managing their financial affairs in the marketprudently. It shows that challenges faced by the youth in the country market to strengthen thefinancial well-being of an individual by guiding them thoroughly, enhance the effectiveness, andencompass the right elements pertains to financial well-being to ensure today's young Pakistaniability to apply that in the real market place and have full financial freedom Keywords: Financial Attitude, Parental Financial Socialization, Financial Literacy, Prudent FinancialManagement Practices, Financial Well-Being

Researchers are interested in marital satisfaction since it is signicant for couples' psychological well-being. They have been studying the factors that lead to a happy marriage for a long time. Adult attachment styles, according to the prior study, serve an active role in forming an intimate relationship. The purpose of the current study was to examine the inuence of adult attachment styles (Secure, Fearful, Dismissive, and Preoccupied) on marital satisfaction among Indian married couples. 304 respondents (152 females & 152 males) from various cities across India participated in the study. To assess the participants' attachment styles and marital satisfaction, the Revised Adult Attachment Scale (Collins, 1996) and ENRICH-SF Marital Satisfaction Scale (Fowers, & Olson, 1993) were used respectively. The statistical analysis was determined using the Chisquare, Kruskal-Wallis One way ANOVAand Mann-Whitney U tests. Results showed that the respondents with secure and dismissive attachment styles had higher marital satisfaction than the respondents with preoccupied and fearful attachment styles. The study found that male and female subjects did not differ signicantly in their attachment styles and marital satisfaction. However, participants who were married for more than 20 years were more in number to have experienced a secure attachment style and they had higher marital satisfaction. Psychotherapists and counsellors in general, and couple therapists in particular, will benet from the current research. Further study will aid in a better understanding of this nding.

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), as an infectious disease, is now prevalent in many countries around the world, which has recently led many governments to home quarantine and impose penalties for violating quarantine. Concerns and stress caused by lockdown and social isolation led to personal and interactive reactions in some families, which are also culturally important to address. This study was administrated to study the psychological well-being and the effect of home quarantine on marital satisfaction (MS) and parental burnout (PB) from parenting responsibilities during the prevalence of COVID-19 in Iranian parents. A total of 213 parents (140 mothers and 73 fathers) voluntarily participated in the online survey in the period of February to mid-April 2020 and completed the 5-item index of the well-being of the World Health Organization (WHO-5), the Kansas Marital Satisfaction Scale (KMSS), and the Parental Burnout Assessment (PBA). The results showed that the effect of home quarantine on MS and PB was not significant in parents (p &gt; 0.01). The interactive effect of home quarantine and gender was not significant on MS and PB (p &gt; 0.01). In addition, the mothers significantly reported higher PB than the fathers, but the fathers had higher scores in MS and psychological well-being (p &lt; 0.01). The effect of some demographic factors on the studied variables was also significant. Supportive resources in family-based culture may play an essential role to reduce the negative effects of stressful situations on family interactions.

This study elucidated the relationship-focused coping patterns of Japanese child-rearing couples. Participants were 101 Japanese couples with at least one pre-school child who was attending one of four daycare centres. Questionnaires included a Japanese version of the relationship-focused coping questionnaire, the Kansas Marital Satisfaction Scale, and the WHO-5 Well-Being Index. Cluster analysis revealed three relationship-focused coping patterns: ‘wife escapes/husband combines’, ‘mutual active relationship maintenance couples’, and ‘wife engages/husband combines’. Our study showed that relationship-focused coping has multidimensional aspects within couples. Furthermore, mutual active relationship maintenance after marital conflict within couples is important for their marital satisfaction.

IntroductionSocial humans are embedded with a variety of relationships. Satisfactory social support is crucial for having physical and psychological well being.AimThe purpose of the present study was to find empirical support for the connections between perceived social support and loneliness with life satisfaction.Material & methods226 students of Golestan University of Medical Sciences (in Northern Iran) participated in the study. They were assessed using demographic questions, Multidimensional scale of Perceived Social Support, Life Satisfaction Scale, and Loneliness Scale. Using SPSS (16) and Pearson correlation test, linear regression the data were analyzed.Findings120 male and 104 female students filled the questionnaires. 91 percents of the students were single and also 95 percents were residents of university dormitories. There was a significant relationship between life satisfaction with loneliness in the subjects (p < 0.05). The higher social support from the family and friends was also correlated with more life satisfaction and less loneliness (p < 0.05). Linear regression showed a significant correlation among social support, life satisfaction with loneliness.ConclusionFindings suggest that, in general, appropriate social support can reduce loneliness and increase life satisfaction. It is also one of the well being predictors. Therefore the universities should provide strategies to facilitate social support from family and the significant others. The empowerment of the students using teaching social communication skills may be helpful as well. The results were discussed within the context of findings from the studies conducted in eastern and western cultures.

Abstract Background The main aim of the present study was to examine the relationships among work environment, job satisfaction and burnout in dentists and to analyse the way in which certain sociodemographic variables, such as gender, professional experience and weekly working hours, predict the perception of the work environment. Methods A battery of online questionnaires was sent to 3876 dentists officially registered in the triple-province region of Valencia; the battery included the Survey of Organizational Attributes for Dental Care, the Warr–Cook–Wall Overall Job Satisfaction Scale, the Maslach Burnout Inventory and a series of sociodemographic questions formulated for the specific purpose of this study. To assess the relations with the independent variables, we calculated the Pearson correlation coefficient, the Z-scores were calculated to make effect sizes comparable, and the associations between the scales and the sociodemographic variables were investigated by adjusted multiple regression analysis. Results A total of 336 participants (9.4%) correctly completed the survey in this study. The mean (M) age was 37.6 years old (standard deviation (SD) = 9.6, median (Me) = 34). Participants reported high scores on the work environment and job satisfaction scales, with only limited experiences of burnout (3.8%). Work environment and burnout were significantly and positively predicted by years of professional experience (β = .078; p = .000 and β = .107; p = .004, respectively), and job satisfaction was significantly and positively predicted by weekly hours of work (β = .022; p = .001), without significant differences according to gender. Conclusions Dentists who work over 20 hours a week and have more years of professional experience report having better perceptions of well-being at work, with no significant difference according to gender. It is important to highlight the aspects that improve well-being in dentistry to reduce burnout, which would lead to greater work engagement and better attention to patients.
