The Langsa City is connected to the Lhokseumawe city which is both of the city is the most strategic area for the central business and trading activities. To support the connection between the cities, the transportation infrastructure and public transport play very important role. In this case, jumbo minibus and terminal building are needed to evaluate to gain the better level of service public transport. Therefore, the goal of this study is to evaluate the level of service of the jumbo minibus as the most convenience to serve Langsa City - Lhokseumawe route by using standard service indicator approach. The data were collected using onboard survey and off-board survey. Collected data then use to analyze and assess the level of service of this public transport. Level of service assessment of public transport which used in this study refers to the indicators which issued by Directorate General of Land Transportation. The form of the level of service is consist of several indicator such as load factor in peak hour, load factor in an off-peak hour, travel speed, headway of travel time, services time, frequency, number of the vehicle in operation, waiting time for passengers, the beginning, and end of time served. The result from the analysis shows that the total value obtained from all indicators is about 20. Based on the Directorate General of Land Transportation approach is recommended that the level of service of the jumbo bus is in good criteria. However, some parameters are still classified as less good criteria. Thus, it needs to improve some indicators of the level of service by considering less significant criteria.

Transportation services in the city of Banda Aceh are currently supported by a public transport system, one of which is Transkoetaradja bus and labi-labi. At the beginning of its service, Transketaradja bus public transportation received a fairly good response from the community. To find out how Transkoetaradja buses can improve their service capabilities, then a study is needed that can convey information. The purpose of this study was to analyze the level of Transkoetaradja bus and labi-labi service. The method used is a quadrant analysis method by distributing questionnaires to 381 Transkoetaradja bus and labi-labi passengers. Based on the conclusions obtained, the performance of public transport in the city of Banda Aceh is currently in the medium category, because in some assessment parameters there are those that need to be improved again, and if seen from the quality of each parameter being examined, Transkoetaradja buses are better than labi-labi. The results show that not all factors are in quadrant A, which states that not all attributes are factors that influence the performance of Transkoetaradja buses and labi-labi. Of the 10 factors, only 6 factors are found in quadrants A and B for Transkoetaradja buses while the turtles have 7 factors. These factors include: rush hour, outside rush hour, travel speed, headway, travel time, service time, frequency, number of vehicles, waiting time and the start and end of the trip.

The increasing number of private vehicles shows that the public transportation system in Makassar has not been maximized. this is also due to the absence of other alternative public transportation modes that can be used by the community in their activities. This study aims to determine the preference of public modes of choice if offered other alternatives, especially public transport with greater capacity. Public transportation offered in this study is busway and monorail. In this study the community was faced with 3 modes of choice namely city transportation, monorail, and busway. The data collection method used was a survey with stated preference based questionnaires, which reviewed nine conditions for variable change in travel speed. The construction of the model was carried out using STATA software and city transportation was used as the base outcome. The model is based on discrete selection models and is analyzed by the multinomial logit model. The results showed that in the nine conditions of change in travel speed, the mode of city transportation was still more dominantly chosen by the community.

Abstract AKDP movement has been declining lately based on an interview survey conducted on AKDP operators that it can be seen that the number of people using L-300 cars is on average above 5 passengers and the average does not meet the available passenger seats of 11 to 16 seats . The current condition shows that people tend to use private transportation / cars compared to public transportation. Judging from the condition of the AKPD in Aceh today many people use private vehicles to make movements. The purpose of this study was to determine the performance of AKDP transport in Aceh Province using the load factor approach. The method used is the Directorate General of Land Transportation method in 2002 and refers to the Decree of Dirjendat No. 274, 1996. Data collection was carried out by means of a static survey using the interview method. From the calculation results it can be seen that the load factor of the regular operating AKDP is 64.55%. This reflects that the level of service is still in good condition ie on regular routes totaling 44 routes, while the total number of routes is 321 which operates irregularly. By not operating 277 routes on a regular basis it can be seen that people tend to use private vehicles when traveling. Transportation is a means of accelerating the economy. Most users of public transport switch to private vehicles. The study aims to determine the performance, the optimal number in accordance with the needs of the community, and know the number of maps that can be made GIS software from the performance evaluation of public transportation in Malang. HM public transport performance assessment parameters generally have good criteria, but for load factor parameters still below national stadart that is <70%. The need for optimal public transport on the HM route is 30 units. Spatially from GIS analysis can produce 3 main map, that is dynamic load factor map, travel speed, and travel time. Besides the 3 main maps, there are still supporting maps that are road network condition map, population distribution map, and population density map. As for the frequency parameter is not included, this is because the frequency parameter is only one line or one type only.

The performance condition of public transportation services in Salatiga City does have an average rating of still good, but it still has classic problems such as there is no passenger stop, public transportation takes a long time to catch up on deposits, and passengers do not know the fare per kilometer that must be paid. These conditions encourage research activities in the form of an analysis of the performance of public transport passengers in Salatiga City (Case Study of the Tamansari – Blotongan Route). The long-term goal of this research is that the resulting analysis can contribute to stakeholders in Salatiga City, especially in terms of (public transport) towards smart transportation. The specific target to be achieved from the research is the analysis and modeling of the performance of passenger public transport services that will be carried out in Salatiga City, in the form of field surveys and secondary data collection, namely: number of vehicles, number of passengers and data in the form of public transport routes: routes, schedules, speeds and Primary forms are: boarding alighting (up and down passengers) and headway (distance between two public transport vehicles). The analytical method used is the analysis and modeling of the performance of passenger public transportation services in accordance with Government Regulation No. 10 of 2012 Directorate General of Land Transportation concerning Minimum Service Standards for Road-Based Mass Transportation. The results showed that the physical condition of the passenger fleet of Salatiga City on the Tamansari - Blotongan PP route was classified as suitable for use. There are a total of 90 fleets that are sufficient for the needs of Salatiga City public transport passengers who want to travel by means of transportation. The results of the performance analysis based on various indicators show that the performance quality of public transportation services in Salatiga City has met the standards set by the Directorate General of Land Transportation. It can be seen from the results of the load factor analysis with a value of 0.72, the value is included in category A, namely > 0.8. For the level of satisfaction and level of performance, most of the indicators have met the satisfaction of public transport passengers in Salatiga City, so it is sufficient to maintain it. However, there are indicators of waiting times for public transportation that need to be improved.
