Human resource is one of key elements in national or regional development and one way to improve the quality of human resource is through education as higher education means better human resource in terms of quality. Education is one of priority programs in Pontianak city and it is obvious that their government has a plan to enhance their human resource quality through education as it is stated in their long-term and medium-term development plans. Hence, this study aims to identify inconsistency trends between planning and budgeting in education-specific programs and activities in Pontianak city’s government in 2019 using quantitative methods through data collection. Consistency analysis is carried out by evaluating several related documents like RPJPD 2005-2025, RPJMD 2015-2019, RKPD 2019, Renstra 2015-2019, Renja 2019, and DPA 2019. The result of the analysis shows that the planning and budgeting documents in education-specific programs and activities in Pontianak city are not fully consistent.

Purpose of the study is to examine and analyze the role of education and training in improving apparatus human resource quality through competence as intervention. The data collection was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 82 respondents. However, only 78 respondents qualified. The tool was analyzed utilizing path analysis. Research results conclude that training and education have significant effect on competence. It indicates that regular education and training for the employees will improve employees' competencies better. Education and training have a significant effect on improving the quality of human resources. The higher the frequency, the better quality of apparatus human resource. Competency has significant effect on improving the quality ofapparatus human resource. This suggests the higher apparatus competencies, the higher investmestment in the community. Competence partially mediates the influence of education and training on improving the quality of apparatus human resource. Consequently, training and education have impact on improving the competence quality of apparatus human resource as intervention.Keywords: education and training, competency, apparatus human resource qualityTujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui serta menganalisis peran pendidikan dan latihan dalam meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya aparatur melalui kompetensinya sebagai intervensi. Pengumpulan data melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 82 responden, namun hanya 78 responden yang memenuhi syarat. Alat dianalisis dengan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa pendidikan dan pelatihan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan pada kompetensi, itu menunjukkan pendidikan dan pelatihan kepada karyawan dari kompetensi masing-masing pegawaipun yang lebih sering atau teratur juga akan meningkatkan lebih baik. Pendidikan dan Pelatihan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan pada peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia, hal ini menunjukkan semakin tinggi frekuensi, kualitas pendidikan dan latihan akan meningkatkan sumber daya aparaturnyapun. Kompetensi berpengaruh signifikan pada peningkatan kualitas sumber daya aparatur, hal ini menunjukkan kompetensi yang lebih tinggi dari aparatur, semakin tinggi investasi pada masyarakat. Kompetensi sebagian menengahi pengaruh pendidikan dan latihan pada peningkatan kualitas sumber daya aparatur. Pendidikan dan Pelatihan sehingga secara tidak langsung berpengaruh pada peningkatan kualitas kompetensi sumber daya aparatur sebagai intervensi.Kata kunci: pendidikan dan pelatihan, kompetensi, kualitas sumber daya aparatur

Talent training is the responsibility of higher education institutions, and the key to talent training lies in the quality of the talents cultivated. It is generally believed that the quality of the talents cultivated reflects the teaching quality of higher education institutions, the foundation for the long-term development of college students, and the core of quality education after the new curriculum reform. As our country's higher education has entered the stage of popularization, higher education institutions have provided a steady stream of human resources for social construction. However, due to the influence of some objective factors, some higher education teaching has appeared the phenomenon inconsistent with modern education goals. This paper will start with the connotation of the quality standards of higher education, analyze the problems in education and teaching in the stage of popularization of higher education, and give corresponding solutions.

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memenuhi kewajiban dosen untuk melakukan tridharma perguruan tinggi. Untuk itu sudah menjadi kewajiban bagi dosen berbagi pengetahuan dan wawasan melalui penyuluhan pengembangan manajemen sumber daya manusia agar senantiasa berupaya mencapai tujuan organisasi dengan efektif dan efisien. Dan juga bertujuan Karang Taruna Kampung serua poncol dapat menjalankan fungsi dan perannya secara optimal sehingga mendatangkan manfaat bagi Kampung serua poncol. The development of higher education in Indonesia is increasingly evident. It is characterized by many private colleges are spread all over Indonesia. But in recent years the government did not give permission to those who want to establish a college. One reason is the government not only menginginkankan development in terms of quantity alone, but must be accompanied by good quality of any existing college.The number of colleges that exist today is already growing its own competition. The high level of competition among private universities is happening now requires every college has the right strategy to attract the interest of new students. Each college offers the advantages of each. However, not all universities have a particular brand image compared with other universities.One of the determining factors of brand image is the satisfaction of its customers. While satisfaction itself arises as a result of service perceived by the customer.College is not only required to provide a good quality education, but they also must be able to provide good service to students as well. Good service is expected to provide satisfaction for students. Of course in the long term, the impact of satisfaction that will form a good image for the college concerned anyway.STIE IBBI Medan is one of the private high school that has a good image in the city of Medan. However, STIE IBBI still have to further improve the quality of services provided to students. It is necessary to maintain the good image that has been owned STIE IBBI today.The plan of the research will be conducted in STIE IBBI Medan. The population is all students STIE IBBI. The long term goal of this research is to STIE IBBI to increase public confidence in higher education that will take in high school applying good quality excellent service. Expected from the results of this study, STIE IBBI can also implement appropriate marketing strategies to improve the quality of service to students. In addition, the results of this research can be a good reference for prospective new students who will pursue higher education in the STIE IBBI Medan.

Laporan keuangan yang berkualitas dihasilkan melalui proses pelaporan keuangan yang efektif atau mencapai tujuan pembuatannya. Terdapat lebih dari satu faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas pelaporan keuangan. Di antara faktor-faktor tersebut, kompetensi sumber daya manusia merupakan salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas pelaporan keuangan. Kompetensi merupakan serangkaian kombinasi dari pengetahuan, kemampuan, keahlian, dan sikap yang terdapat dalam diri sumber daya manusia untuk menjalankan tugasnya dan memperoleh hasil yang unggul. Keberadaan sumber daya manusia dalam proses pelaporan keuangan adalah sangat penting karena rasio, rasa, dan karsa merupakan hal-hal yang dimiliki hanya oleh sumber daya manusia dibandingkan sumber daya yang lainnya. Sumber daya manusia yang terlibat dalam pelaporan keuangan harus memiliki kompetensi yang cukup agar dapat memenuhi atau melebihi kriteria pelaporan keuangan efektif yang telah ditetapkan. Sumber daya manusia dengan kompetensi yang rendah menyebabkan proses pelaporan keuangan memiliki kualitas rendah. Proses pelaporan keuangan dengan kualitas rendah akan menghasilkan informasi yang tidak akurat, menyesatkan, dan tidak lengkap. Tujuan yang dimaksudkan dalam penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui seberapa banyak pengaruh yang sumber daya manusia berikan terhadap pelaporan keuangan. Karyawan yang bekerja pada bagian akuntansi dan bagian lain yang berhubungan dengan fungsi akuntansi pada perusahaan manufaktur di Kota Bandung adalah populasi dalam penelitian ini dan 53 orang merupakan jumlah sampel yang digunakan. Dalam penelitian ini, digunakan survei berupa kuesioner fisik sebagai teknik dan alat pengumpulan data sehingga data yang didapatkan merupakan data primer. Data yang telah didapatkan kemudian diuji menggunakan aplikasi SPSS. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi sumber daya manusia memiliki pengaruh terhadap pelaporan keuangan. Kata kunci: kompetensi SDM, pelaporan keuangan Quality financial reports are produced through an effective financial reporting process or achieve the objectives of its creation. There are more than one factors that affect financial reporting’s effectiveness. Among those factors, human resource competency is one factor that affect financial reporting’s effectiveness. Competency is a series of combinations of knowledge, skill, expertise, and attitude contained in human resource to carry out their duties and obtain superior results. Existence of human resource in financial reporting process are crucial because idea, feeling, and intention are things that only owned by human resource compared with other resources. Human resources embroiled in financial reporting must have sufficient competency to meet or exceed the established effective financial reporting criteria. Human resource with lack of competency causes low quality of financial reporting process. Low quality financial reporting process cause inaccurate, misleading, and incomplete information. This research aim to examine how much influence that human resource’s competency gave towards financial reporting. Employees who work in the accounting department and other department related to accounting function in manufacturing companies in Bandung are population in this research and 53 people are the number of sample used. In this research, survey in the form of physical questionnaire was used as technique and tool of data collection so the data obtained is primary data. Data that has been obtained then tested by SPSS application. The result of this research indicate that human resource’s competency has an effect towards financial reporting. This paper explored the perceptions and career goals of undergraduate tourism students, before and during the pandemic COVID-19, in the Universidad Estatal de Milagro, in Milagro, Ecuador. The study is based on a quantitative approach. The sample is made up of 207 students during 2018 (before the COVID-19 pandemic) and 161 students in 2020 (during COVID-19). The questionnaire included questions about professional perceptions and questions about the professional goals that students have in the short and long term. Finally, perceptions exclusively related to COVID-19 were measured.  The results showed that the vast majority of the students are highly motivated and committed to pursue a career in the tourism industry. A high percentage of the participants expressed their desire to do a Tourism master degree and undertake their own tourism businesses, despite the uncertainty now generated by COVID-19. The findings also reaffirmed the importance of guiding improvements on tourism higher education and tourism industry, with the aim of ensuring the quality of the tourist services, with highly skilled professionals, especially in emerging tourist destinations as Ecuador.

The leadership of the kiai becomes very important in Islamic boarding school because the development of the quality of pesantren education depends on the competence of the leader, the meaning of the leader here is the kiai or caretaker of the boarding school. This study aims to describe the first role of leadership in improving the quality of education, secondly the leadership of kiai that is effective in improving the quality of education in Islamic boarding schools.This research uses a qualitative method, with a case study in Bahrul Maghfiroh Islamic Boarding School in Malang. Data collection was carried out using interview, observation, and documentation and observation techniques. Data analysis uses descriptive qualitative methods and inductive thinking patterns. The purpose is to analyze the data obtained from field objects, and then to be related to relevant theories.The results showed: 1) The role of the kiai in improving quality in the Bahrul Maghfiroh Islamic boarding school in Malang is as a manager, educator, human resource empowerment, decision maker, attainee of the pesantren, motivator and supervisor. 2) Effective kiai leadership is leadership that builds cooperation with kiai or other institutions, regenerates kiai and builds good relations with the community.

Problem Statement: The author focuses on the problem of limited human resources of IPDN libraries. Purpose: This study is focused on knowing the description of IPDN library human resource management in supporting the performance of lecturers in the IPDN environment. Method: The author collects data through interviews, observation, documentation. Result: The results showed that from the aspect of planning and organizing, there was an inadequate number of human resources, as well as the quality of human resources that needed to be improved in the IPDN Library. Conclusion: Library human resource management in supporting the performance of lecturers at IPDN has been carried out quite well, but IPDN Libraries need to make improvements and improvements from the aspects of planning and organizing, namely by adding personnel and developing human resources. Keywords: Management; Librarian; Human Resource; Lecturer's Performance; Higher Education   ABSTRAK Permasalahan: Penulis berfokus pada permasalahan terbatasnya sumber daya manusia perpustakaan IPDN.  Tujuan: Studi ini difokuskan untuk untuk mengetahui gambaran manajemen sumber daya manusia perpustakaan IPDN dalam mendukung kinerja dosen di lingkungan IPDN. Metode:  Penulis mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari aspek perencanaan dan pengorganisasian, terdapat jumlah sumber daya manusia yang kurang memadai, serta kualitas sumber daya manusia yang perlu ditingkatkan di Perpustakaan IPDN. Kesimpulan: Manajemen sumber daya manusia perpustakaan dalam mendukung kinerja dosen di IPDN sudah terlaksana cukup baik, namun Perpustakaan IPDN perlu melakukan perbaikan dan peningkatan dari aspek perencanaan dan pengorganisasian, yaitu dengan menambah personil dan melakukan pengembangan sumber daya manusia.  Kata kunci: Manajemen; Pustakawan; Sumber daya manusia; Kinerja Dosen; Perguruan Tinggi

<div><p class="Els-Abstract-head">Abstract</p></div><p>Internationalization of higher education is the top stage of international relations among universities and it is no longer regarded as a goal in itself, but as a means to improve the quality of education.  The knowledge translation and acquisition, mobilization of talent in support of global research and enchantment of the curriculum with international content are considered to be the benefits of internationalization of higher education. Though, internationalization holds many positives to higher education, there are grave risks associated with this multifaceted and growing phenomenon. Negative aspects include commercial profit, academic colonization and difficulty in ensuring quality education. The current review has implications for educational policy makers to ensure positive and reciprocal benefits to the higher education institutions and the countries concerned.</p><p> </p>
