Environmental controls, especially for temperature and humidity, are essential to maintain the safety, purity and effectiveness of drugs. The measurement of humidity can be particularly difficult and important in climatic and thermostatic chambers (warehouses, ovens, cold rooms, fridges, drying rooms, insulated boxes, etc.).The old method of monitoring and qualification of climatic and thermostatic chambers requires placing a defined number of recorders, then programming and store them. After that, to examine the values recorded to revolve the status of the climatic and thermostatic chambers, if they are compliant or not-complaint at any time, so all that goes to waste time and efficiency of values. We can do the monitoring and qualification of climatic and thermostatic chambers; we can verify the status of our chambers compliant or not-compliant, and this in favor to an original system that we developed. Our system can be used to allow staff to qualify and receive warnings or to autonomously regulate our physical quantities when environmental parameters do not meet specifications. Our work consists of 3 distinct steps:1. Collecting data from the sensors;2.  The transfer of these data to a database;3. Data recovery through the web page [1].

A plat form independent embedded web server and its integration into a network of wireless sensor nodes is implemented here. The embedded web server is designed and built as an expansion module for one of the nodes in the Wireless Sensor Network (WSN). It allows authorized Internet users to establish two-way communication with the sensor network. The server uses limited available hardware resources to implement an interface to the WSN node. This allows the user to monitor the operation of the WSN remotely, to periodically download the sensed data and to change the operation mode of the network. In this project, by typing the IP-address of LAN on the web browser, the user gets a web page on screen; this page contains all the information about the status of the devices. The user can also control the devices interfaced to the web server by pressing a button provided in the web page.

Operating in a dynamic and competitive global market, railway companies have realized many years ago that better management of their logistical operations will enhance their strategic positions on the market. The financial component of daily operations is of utmost importance these days and many companies concluded that maximizing the profit relies on the integration of logistical activities with better income management. This paper presents a system consisting of three components: Ferodata BOX, Ferodata MOBILE, and Ferodata SYS, used to transmit to a web-server the status and operating information of an electric or diesel train. Train information includes data from locomotives, wagons, train driver, route, direction, fuel or electric consumption, speed, etc. All this information is processed in real-time and can be viewed in the web-server application. Additionally, the web-server application could manage and report details that are coming from the wagons, such as valuable information regarding the bogie wear, the identification of the wagons attached to a gasket, and identification the situations in which a wagon or group of wagons comes off the gasket configuration. All information about the status of trains is available on-line and at any moment the person responsible for management can use these data in their work.

The development of a wireless sensor network system for temperature and humidity monitoring is described. The system is composed of two main parts, namely an end device and a coordinator. The end device consists of an SHT10 sensor, an XBee Pro RF module, an ATMega8535 microcontroller, and a battery. The coordinator consists of an XBee Pro RF module and an SIM900 GSM module. The temperature and humidity data were sent by the end device to the coordinator and they were forwarded to the web server via GPRS communication using the SIM900 GSM module. In order to the data stored in the database can be accessed in real time via the internet, a web server is developed by using CodeIgniter (CI). It was shown that each end device can communicate very well with the coordinator. Moreover, the data are received in accordance with the timing of delivery was given.

A new species list of plants and lichens of Russia and neighboring countries has been developed for Turboveg for Windows, the program, intended for storage and management of phytosociological data (relevés), is widely used all around the world (Hennekens, Schaminée, 2001; Hennekens, 2015). The species list is built upon the database of the Russian website Plantarium (Plantarium…: [site]), which contains a species atlas and illustrated an online Handbook of plants and lichens. The nomenclature used on Plantarium was originally based on the following issues: vascular plants — S. K. Cherepanov (1995) with additions; mosses — «Flora of mosses of Russia» (Proect...: [site]); liverworts and hornworts — A. D. Potemkin and E. V. Sofronova (2009); lichens — «Spisok…» G. P. Urbanavichyus ed. (2010); other sources (Plantarium...: [site]). The new species list, currently the most comprehensive in Turboveg format for Russia, has 89 501 entries, including 4627 genus taxa compare to the old one with 32 020 entries (taxa) and only 253 synonyms. There are 84 805 species and subspecies taxa in the list, 37 760 (44.7 %) of which are accepted, while the others are synonyms. Their distribution by groups of organisms and divisions are shown in Table. A large number of synonyms in the new list and its adaptation to work with the Russian literature will greatly facilitate the entry of old relevé data. The ways of making new list, its structure as well as the possibilities of checking taxonomic lists on Internet resources are considered. The files of the species list for Turboveg 2 and Turboveg 3, the technique of associating existing databases with a new species list (in Russian) are available on the web page https://www.binran.ru/resursy/informatsionnyye-resursy/tekuschie-proekty/species_list_russia/.

Content is a key influencing factor in Web Quality of Experience (QoE) estimation. A web user’s satisfaction can be influenced by how long it takes to render and visualize the visible parts of the web page in the browser. This is referred to as the Above-the-fold (ATF) time. SpeedIndex (SI) has been widely used to estimate perceived web page loading speed of ATF content and a proxy metric for Web QoE estimation. Web application developers have been actively introducing innovative interactive features, such as animated and multimedia content, aiming to capture the users’ attention and improve the functionality and utility of the web applications. However, the literature shows that, for the websites with animated content, the estimated ATF time using the state-of-the-art metrics may not accurately match completed ATF time as perceived by users. This study introduces a new metric, Plausibly Complete Time (PCT), that estimates ATF time for a user’s perception of websites with and without animations. PCT can be integrated with SI and web QoE models. The accuracy of the proposed metric is evaluated based on two publicly available datasets. The proposed metric holds a high positive Spearman’s correlation (rs=0.89) with the Perceived ATF reported by the users for websites with and without animated content. This study demonstrates that using PCT as a KPI in QoE estimation models can improve the robustness of QoE estimation in comparison to using the state-of-the-art ATF time metric. Furthermore, experimental result showed that the estimation of SI using PCT improves the robustness of SI for websites with animated content. The PCT estimation allows web application designers to identify where poor design has significantly increased ATF time and refactor their implementation before it impacts end-user experience.

PageRank algorithms only consider hyperlink information, without other page information such as page hits frequency, page update time and web page category. Therefore, the algorithms rank a lot of advertising pages and old pages pretty high and can’t meet the users' needs. This paper further studies the page meta-information such as category, page hits frequency and page update time. The Web page with high hits frequency and with smaller age should get a high rank, while the above two factors are more or less dependent on page category. Experimental results show that the algorithm has good results.

In order to accurately collect the environmental parameters (such as temperature, humidity, illumination, etc.), which influence growth of greenhouse crops, the paper proposed a design for greenhouse environment monitoring based on CAN bus and wireless sensor networks (WSNs). The communication network of the system consists of two parts: the backbone network being constructed by CAN bus and area network being constructed by WSNs. At the same time, the designed of hardware and software about the system is illustrated in detail. System architecture indicates that the system is an effective solution for greenhouse environment monitoring.
