Training of gratitude is expected to grow these factors. Being grateful can lead to positive emotions that may create acceptance the conditions of self and positive social relationships. This training program was conducted for a full day, including induction and release of negative emotions, lesson about gratitude, mutual influence, contemplation, and pouring a sense of gratitude in writing. Training is given to 37 students of class X at SMKN 31 Jakarta. Pre and post test was conducted before and after training, using VAS (Visual Analog Scale) and PANAS (Positive affect-negative affect schedule). The effect of the training was analyzed by counting the change of mean from pre to post test score for each scale. The result showed that there are an increased of positive emotion score means after the training, from 6.92 to 7.41 for VAS and from 3.53 to 3.81 for PANAS score. Then it may concluded that the gratitude training program improve the positive emotion of the students.

<p><strong><em>Abstract</em></strong>. <em>One of the common social problems in Jakarta is a people chaos and brawl between societies. Some cases that often occured in the Central Jakarta area, most of the motives of residents who participated in the brawl were not certain, and also from which communities or regions they came from. Most of the brawlers are teenagers. Teenagers are in a period of an unstable emotional conditions so that easily provoked to follow brawls without knowing the root of the problem and its consequences. Brawl is a form of mass aggression. One of the factors of drives aggression is the regulation of emotions which are not good and right. Therefore, the intervention model that will be applied to adolescents in community service is group emotional regulation training. This training program is carried out for a full day, including induction and release of negative emotions, sharing knowledge about emotions and regulation, and stimulating positive emotions. The training was given to 17 teenagers from the Harapan Mulya village neighborhood, especially from </em>Forum Remaja<em> (Local Youth Forum). Measurement of emotional changes and the level of aggressiveness is examined by giving pre and post-test before and after training, using the scale of Aggression and VAS. The results of statistical analysis show that the average score of aggressiveness decreased after being given training. It means that the emotion regulation training was effectively reduce the aggressiveness of the adolescence.</em></p><p> </p><p><strong><em> </em></strong><strong>Abstrak</strong>. Salah satu permasalahan sosial yang jamak terjadi di daerah Jakarta adalah tawuran antar warga. Seperti kasus yang sering muncul di daerah Jakarta Pusat, kebanyakan dari warga yang mengikuti tawuran tersebut tidak diketahui secara pasti motifnya dan dari kelompok atau wilayah mana yang bersangkutan berasal. Sebagian besar pelaku tawuran tersebut adalah remaja. Remaja berada pada masa kondisi emosi yang labil sehingga  mudah terprovokasi untuk mengikuti tawuran tanpa mengetahui akar masalah dan konsekuensinya. Tawuran merupakan bentuk agresi massa, di mana salah satu faktor yang mendorong agresi adalah regulasi emosi yang kurang baik dan tepat. Oleh karena itu, model intervensi yang akan diterapkan pada para remaja dalam pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah pelatihan regulasi emosi kelompok. Program pelatihan ini dilaksanakan selama sehari penuh, meliputi induksi dan pelepasan emosi negatif, pemberian materi tentang emosi dan regulasinya, serta stimulasi emosi positif. Pelatihan diberikan kepada 17 orang remaja dari lingkugan kelurahan Harapan Mulya, khususnya Forum Remaja setempat. Pengukuran perubahan emosi dan tingkat agresivitas dilakukan dengan memberikan pre dan post-test sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan, menggunakan skala Agresi dan VAS. Hasil analisis statistik dengan melihat perubahan rata-rata skor antara pre dan post-test menunjukkan penurunan tingkat agresivitas setelah diberikan pelatihan.</p>

ABSTRACT This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of YouTube-based videos as a media in learning daily English conversation for children and to identify factors affecting learning daily English conversation for children by using YouTube-based videos as a media. To obtain the aims, this research uses six children whose ages vary from ten to twelve years old lived in Asrama Yatim Mizan Amanah located at Jalan Salihara, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta as the source of data. Descriptive qualitative method is applied as the research design. In collecting data, the researchers gather the result of learning activities in pre-tests, treatments, and post-tests. Meanwhile, in analyzing the data, the researchers compare the children’s pre-test score with their post-test score to see the development of learning which show their competence before and after being treated. in this case, the research is focused on two topics, Greeting and Introduction in English. The children are introduced some expressions of greeting and introduction in English children by using YouTube-based videos, then some roleplays or conversation containing expressions of greeting and introduction are shown to the children by watching together YouTube-based videos. The last, the children are asked to recognize and practice the expression of greeting and introduction in English. The result shows that the usage of YouTube based video as a media in learning daily English conversation for children is considered effective. Four out of six children are able to memorize new expressions of both greeting and introduction in English, whereas the two other children remains stagnant after learning using YouTube based videos. It is found that there are factors that affect learning English for children by using this media, they are; personality, motivation and attitude, intelligent, learners’ belief, and personality. The most influential factors affecting learning are motivation and attitude. The successful children have these factors stronger rather than the stagnant children. Based on the result, the effectiveness in learning English using YouTube-based videos will be stronger if it is supported by an interactive and conducive learning atmosphere. The learning atmosphere should be considered to achieve a stronger speaking English proficiency. Key words: YouTube based-videos, language learning, daily English conversation ABSTRAK Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk menganalisis keefektifan penggunaan video berbasis YouTube sebagai media dalam belajar percakapan bahasa Inggris sehari-hari pada anak-anak dan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor yang mempengaruhi pembelajaran percakapan bahasa Inggris sehari-hari pada anak-anak yang menggunakan video berbasis YouTube. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, penelitian ini menjadikan enam orang anak berumur sepuluh hingga dua belas tahun yang tinggal di Asrama Yatim Mizan Amanah Jalan Salihara, Pasar Minggu, Jakarta Selatan sebagai sumber data. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode descriptive qualitative. Disini, proses pengumpulan data meliputi pengumpulan hasil pre-tests, treatment, dan post-test. Sementara itu, proses analisis data dilakukan dengan cara membandingkan skor pre-test dengan skor post-test pembelajar untuk melihat perkembangan pembelajaran yang menunjukkan perkembangan anak-anak sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran. Penelitian difokuskan pada dua topik pembelajaran yaitu sapaan dan perkenalan bahasa Inggris. Dalam hal ini anak-anak diajak mengenal ekspresi sapaan dan perkenalan dalam Bahasa Inggris melalui video yang ada pada YouTube. Kemudian menonton beberapa simulasi dari perilaku menyapa dan berkenalan dalam Bahasa Inggris juga melalui video You-Tube. Pada tahap terakhir, para pembelajar ini diminta untuk berlatih mengingat dan mempraktekkan ungkapan sapaan dan perkenalan dalam Bahasa Inggris Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan video berbasis YouTube sebagai media belajar percakapan bahasa Inggris sehari-hari adalah efektif. Empat dari 6 anak mampu mengingat kosakata sapaan dan perkenalan yang baru secara signifikan setelah belajar menggunakan media video berbasis You Tube, meskipun ada 2 anak yang tidak mengalami peningkatan. Ada beberapa faktor yang memengaruhi pembelajaran pada anak-anak tersebut diantaranya kepribadian, motivasi dan sikap, kecerdasan, dan keyakinan. Faktor yang paling berpengaruh pada pembelajaran adalah motivasi dan sikap. Anak-anak yang mengalami peningkatan belajar yang pesat memiliki faktor motivasi dan sikap yang lebih kuat dibanding anak-anak yang tidak mengalami peningkatan. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, keefektifan dalam belajar percakapan Bahasa Inggris sehari-hari menggunakan video YouTube menjadi lebih besar jika didukung oleh atmosfer belajar yang interaktif dan kondusif. Hal ini mesti diperhatikan guna mencapai kemampuan Bahasa Inggris lisan yang lebih baik. Kata Kunci: Video YouTube, Pembelajaran Bahasa, Percakapan dasar dalam Bahasa Inggris.

This research aimed to determine the effectiveness of picture in storybook reading to increase kindness in children. This research involved 31 children aged 5-6 years; they were taken from the kindergarten in Bandung as the participants. The intervention was done by reading eight picture books in eight days. The kindness was measured using a measurement instrument created by the researcher, in the form of nine coloured cards that described the behaviour of kindness. The measurement was also done by seeing through the kindness tree and observation sheets that filled out by the teacher. The data analysis using the Wilcoxon Signed-rank test shows a significant difference in the average score of kindness (p<0,05) before and after picture storybook reading. Two weeks after the intervention, the improvement on all kindness behaviours with the post-test score is greater than pre-test score that still can be found. Observation through kindness tree and observational sheets shows the same result.

Background/Objectives: This study examined the effects of introducing programming as a technological tool for teachers’ Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) development.Methods/Statistical Analysis: Thirty-two teachers were divided into two groups, completing different types of TPACK educational programs. The control group’s TPACK training program was based on information and communication technology (ICT), while that of the experimental group was based on programming. To verify the effectiveness of the TPACK training program, tests were administered before and after the educational program. A statistical analysis of questionnaire results also investigated changes resulting from TPACK.Findings: Both the control and experimental groups showed statistically significant improvements in the post-test compared with the pre-test. However, in the detailed areas of TPACK by group, the improvements in the two groups differed. Unlike the control group, the experimental group showed a statistically significant improvement in the knowledge related to technology. This result illustrated that programming is effective in solving the problem of integrating technology into the classroom. In contrast, there was no significant difference in the post-test, as this was applied in the short term. However, programming has been shown to affect Technological Pedagogical Knowledge (TPK), Technological Content Knowledge (TCK), and TPACK. In summary, the results showed that a TPACK educational program based on programming is effective for teachers’ TPACK development. Keywords: TPACK, In-service teacher, Programming, TPACK-P, Educational program

The objective of this study is to find the use of mind mapping on improving students’ writing ability, especially for biographical recount text at the tenthgrade students of SMAN 7 Kota Tangerang in the academic year of 2018/2019.The sample of this study were 35 students. This study used quantitative method with pre – experimental design by using one group pre –test and post – test. The result of the research shows that there is a significant difference in student’s writing ability between tenth grade students of SMAN 7 Kota Tangerang before and after taught using the mind mapping technique. It can be seen in the result of the study, the average pre – test score of experiment class students is 68.26 and the average post – test score of experiment class students is 85.40. It means that there is a significant difference in students’ writing ability between tenth grade students of SMAN 7 Kota Tangerang before and after taught using the mind mapping technique. The research hypothesis is proven that using mind mapping technique in teaching writing especially in recount text makes the students’ writing score higher.

Introduction: Generally, core stability exercise as a training program is needed in almost kind of sport including paddle, analysis of movement in any kind of paddle sport such as kayak, canoe, or even rowing have been showed that the activity of core stability muscles are really needed. Purpose: purpose of this research is to know the effectivity of core stability exercise replenishment to increase sculling speed in paddle training program. Methods: This research is experimental with treatment by subject design project, involving 15 paddle athletes which divided into two groups and consists of II periods which are, Period I and Period II. In the 1st period, the athletes were given extra core stability exercise along with their normal paddling routine mean while in the 2nd period, the athletes only doing their normal paddling routine. Each period do the trial in 6 weeks, so this reseach took 12 weeks. In 1st period, the subjects were given extra core stability training 3 times a week along with their normal paddling routine where as subjects in period II only do their normal paddling routine. Results: The used of parametric paired t test is to know the difference of sculling speed before and after the trials were given. To period I pre test value is 3.80 ± 0.26 meters/second while the post test value is 4.06 ± 0.41 meters/second and the value 0.001 (p<0.05)mean while the 2nd period use Wilcoxon signed rank test to know the difference of sculling speed between before and after the trial were given resulting pre test value 3.80 ± 0.22 meters/second and post test value 3.91 ± 0.27 meters/second while the p value is 0.004 (p<0.05). After 12 weeks of sculling speed test between both period using Wilcoxon signed rank test and resulting obvions with period I value 0.26 ± 0.20 meters/second and period II value is 0.11 ± 0.12 meters/second along with p value 0.001 (p<0.05). Conclusion: Therefore, based on the result of my research test, we can concluded that the addition of core stability exercise in paddle training program is more effective to increase sculling speed.

The objectives of this research are (1) to find out the speaking ability of SMA Negeri 2 Rembang students before being taught using series pictures of storytelling, (2) to find out the speaking ability of SMA Negeri 2 Purwodadi students after being taught using series pictures of storytelling, and (3) to find out whether or not there is a significant difference of speaking ability of SMA Negeri 2 Purwodadi students before and after being taught using series pictures of storytelling.This study uses Experimental method. The number of populations in this research is30 students. The method of data collection is spoken test. First the writer gives pre-test to the students and scores. Second the writer gives a treatment for two meetings at this time, the writer implements the series pictures in classroom activities. At last, the writer gives the students a post test. The data analysis reveals that the mean of pre-test score is 61,03 ; it is at fair level. The mean of post-test score is 76,1 ; it is at good level. Then the result of t-test is9,71, and the t-table of 30 students is2,04. The result of t-test is higher than t-table. Based on research analysis, the writer takes conclusions: first the speaking ability of the students before being taught using series pictures of storytelling is fair, second the speaking ability of the students after being taught using series pictures of storytelling is good, and last there is significant improvement of English speaking ability of the students taught by using series pictures of storytelling. The writer also suggests to all of teachers of senior high school. It is better for them to use the media of series pictures of storytelling to improve the students’ speaking ability. It is for the simple reason that a series pictures are a media to improve the speaking ability at storytelling. The writer also suggests to the students that the study is as recommendation to motivate the students in improving the students’ speaking ability. The students are encouraged to give their opinions, ideas and imagination about the presented pictures. Definition of key terms (1) series picture A picture is an illustration of pictures that can be used as a two dimensional visual representation of percent, place, or things. (2) Media is any extension of man which allows him to affect other people who are not in face to face with him. (3) Story telling is In this research storytelling is used to improve the students’ speaking ability. It caused that storytelling can improve the ideas and imagines their story and express it by telling the story. It helps the students to speak and talk active.

Background: Surveillance is important in schools. We assessed the effect of a training program on the knowledge of school physicians regarding surveillance. Methods: Seventy school physicians were included. Assessment of their baseline surveillance knowledge was done (pretest). An intervention program was prepared. Assessment of the training program was done using the same data collection tool (post test). Results: Significant difference in the mean knowledge score before and after the intervention was detected. In a multiple linear regression model, the total knowledge score before the intervention and the age of the physician were the only two factors found to be significantly affecting the school physicians' knowledge score after the intervention. Conclusion: Training of school physicians on disease surveillance has an effect on their level of knowledge regarding surveillance.

Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) has been increasingly recognized as effective in different mental illnesses, but these effects are limited in schizophrenia. For patients with schizophrenia, stigma is one of the most negative factors that affects treatment, rehabilitation and social function. This research aimed to determine the effects of MBCT on stigma in patients with schizophrenia. In total, 62 inpatients with schizophrenia were recruited and randomly assigned to the experimental group or control group. The experimental group received an 8-week MBCT intervention, and the control group were treated as usual. Link's Stigma Scales (with three subscales, including perceived devaluation-discrimination (PDD), stigma-coping orientation, and stigma-related feeling), Five Facet Mindfulness Questionnaire (FFMQ), and Insight and Treatment Attitudes Questionnaire (ITAQ) were used to collect data before and after intervention. After intervention, the post-test score of PDD, stigma-coping orientation, FFMQ, and ITAQ were significantly different between the experimental group and the control group. In the experimental group, the PDD and stigma-coping orientation scores significantly decreased, and FFMQ and ITAQ scores increased remarkably (P &lt; 0.05). In addition, correlation analysis revealed a significant negative correlation between mindfulness and stigma. MBCT was effective in reducing stigma in patients with schizophrenia, which mainly manifested as changes in the patients' perception of stigma as well as the withdrawal and avoidance caused by schizophrenia. Enhancing mindfulness will help reduce the stigma level. MBCT is worthy of promotion and application in patients with schizophrenia.

This research discusses about the use of Choral Reading in reading narrative text. The purpose of this research was to determine whether the choral reading technique affects students' pronunciation. The researcher used a quasi-experimental research design, the population in this research is class VIII Mts Alkahirat Alindau which consists of two classes, they are class 8A and 8B. In this research, class 8B as the Experimental Group by usinga purposive sampling technique. In the experimental class, the researcher gave a pre-test, treatment (choral reading), and post-test, while for the control class, only pretest and post-test without treatment. The researcher collected data through a reading test. From the calculation of the data it showed that the difference in students' scores on the pre-test and posttest with an average post-test score was higher than the average of pre-test score (67.06>30.26). This can be seen from the results obtained before and after the treatment, the score on post-test of experimental class was higher than the score on the pos-test of control group (67.0>51.2). In addition, the result showed that the t-counted was higher than the t-table (52.94>2084. Based on the data analysis, the researcher concluded that the used of Choral Reading technique was affects the pronunciation of the 8th grade students of MTs Alkharat Alinda.
