The sufficiency economy philosophy in King Bhumibol’s initiative is a principle for the development of people especially their ideas and the relationship of adequate living, that is providing guidance on appropriate conduct covering numerous aspects of life. This construct is a new model in educational measurement in Thailand. This study tried to examine the construct validity of the measurement model by using the sufficient life skill (SLS) scale. The scale was used to measure the SLS of 599 Thai students studying in basic education level and the lie scale was applied to detect faking of test takers. The confirmatory factor analysis was utilised for comparing the two different models, holistic and specific models. The result showed consequence of construct validity of the better model. In addition, findings also supported the importance of applying lie scale for detecting faking responses. Theoretical implications are discussed. This study investigates the effect of social capital on job satisfaction of managers and employees in the State General Inspection Organization. The purpose of this study, the type of application and data collection methods, descriptive. This study is called correlation research because of the relationship between two or more variables. In this study has been investigated the model by using exploratory and confirmatory analysis statistics. The statistics society of this research is managers, experts and employees of the State General Inspection Organization. Confirmatory factor analysis of social capital in the first question of all questions except 58 and 61 t-value are acceptable to that question will be removed and the job satisfaction of first-order factor analysis of questions 2 and 31 are removed and values x 2 / df First-and second-order confirmatory factor analysis, and RMSEA of social capital and job satisfaction of first-and second-order model is indicative of the suitability and the value of x 2 / df and RMSEA T-value of the structural model and the necessary modifications are appropriate.

Aging involves changes in psychomotor performance. Few studies are focused on psychomotor skills among older people due, in part, to the inexistence of valid instruments in the field. The purpose of this article is to analyze the factor structure model of the Portuguese version of Exámen Géronto-Psychomoteur. The confirmatory factor analysis was completed in a sample of 497 older persons, aged between 60 and 99 years, with and without dementia (74.4% female; M = 78.0; standard deviation = 8.6). A baseline one-factor model was compared against 2 three-factor models (first and second order) that were developed based on the previous exploratory factor analysis. Fit indices for the one-factor model were slightly higher when compared with other models; however, the second-order model seems to be more representative of human behavior. The results of this study provide evidence to support a three-factor model: cognition, motor function, and physical aspects.

Background: Moral distress is a growing problem for healthcare professionals that may lead to dissatisfaction, resignation, or occupational burnout if left unattended, and nurses experience different levels of this phenomenon. Objectives: This study aims to investigate the factor structure of the Persian version of the Moral Distress Scale–Revised in intensive care and general nurses. Research design: This methodological research was conducted with 771 nurses from eight hospitals in the Mazandaran Province of Iran in 2017. Participants completed the Moral Distress Scale–Revised, data collected, and factor structure assessed using the construct, convergent, and divergent validity methods. The reliability of the scale was assessed using internal consistency (Cronbach’s alpha, Theta, and McDonald’s omega coefficients) and construct reliability. Ethical considerations: This study was approved by the Ethics Committee of Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences. Findings: The exploratory factor analysis ( N = 380) showed that the Moral Distress Scale–Revised has five factors: lack of professional competence at work, ignoring ethical issues and patient conditions, futile care, carrying out the physician’s orders without question and unsafe care, and providing care under personal and organizational pressures, which explained 56.62% of the overall variance. The confirmatory factor analysis ( N = 391) supported the five-factor solution and the second-order latent factor model. The first-order model did not show a favorable convergent and divergent validity. Ultimately, the Moral Distress Scale–Revised was found to have a favorable internal consistency and construct reliability. Discussion and conclusion: The Moral Distress Scale–Revised was found to be a multidimensional construct. The data obtained confirmed the hypothesis of the factor structure model with a latent second-order variable. Since the convergent and divergent validity of the scale were not confirmed in this study, further assessment is necessary in future studies.
