To solve resource-tagging inefficiency and low-precision retrieval in special field, an analysis method of tag semantic relevancy based on controlled database was proposed. The characteristic of special field and building method for controlled database were discussed. Domain ontology correlation calculation method was used to get semantic correlation. The tag semantic similarity calculation method was developed for semantic similarity, and normalization was used to increase the similarity accuracy. With semantic correlation and similarity as parameters, the semantic relevancy in special field can be obtained. This method was used successfully in the special field of actual projects, improved resource-tagging and retrieval efficiency.

Purpose Because of the compact structure, short flexspline (FS) harmonic drive (HD) is increasingly used. The stress calculation of FS is very important in design and optimization of HD system. This paper aims to study the stress calculation methods for short FS, based on mechanics analysis and finite element method (FEM). Design/methodology/approach A rapid stress calculation method, based on mechanics analysis, is proposed for the short FS of HD. To verify the stress calculation precision of short FS, a complete finite element model of HD is established. The results of stress and deformation of short FS in different lengths are solved by FEM. Findings Through the rapid calculation method, the analytical relationship between circumferential stress and length of cylinder was obtained. And the circumferential stress has proportional relation with the reciprocal of squared length. The FEM results verified that the rapid stress calculation method could obtain accurate results. Research limitations/implications The rapid mechanics analysis method is practiced to evaluate the strength of FS at the design stage of HD. And the complete model of HD could contribute to improving the accuracy of FEM results. Originality/value The rapid calculation method is developed based on mechanics analysis method of cylinder and equivalent additional bending moment model, through which the analytical relationship between circumferential stress and length of cylinder was obtained. The complete three-dimensional finite element model of HD takes the stiffness of bearing into consideration, which can be used in the numerical simulation in the future work to improve the accuracy.

With the rapid development of the global economy, the interconnection of power grids has become an objective law and a trend of the power industry development. The implementation of power grid interconnection projects, especially transnational power grid interconnection projects, will bring us substantial benefits. To demonstrate these benefits comprehensively, we designed a comprehensive evaluation index system with multiple international engineering characteristics. The index system takes the influencing factors of economic, social, environmental and technical benefits into account. In order to improve the rigidity and power of weight determination, we proposed the least squares method which combines the order relation method and the factor analysis method. Furthermore, the limitation of the one-way evaluation was effectively overcome by combining TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to an Ideal Solution), grey relation analysis method and vector projection method. In addition, we adjusted the potential impact of the time on evaluation by using the quadratic weighted algorithm, so that we can dynamically evaluate the comprehensive benefits. Finally, we verified the established index system and evaluation model through an example of eight different investment plans of a transnational high voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission project. Altogether, results from this paper will provide a guidance reference and decision support for the grid corporation to invest in transnational power grid interconnection projects.

The issue of hydroelasticity caused by hull vibration has become an unavoidable problem in the design and verification of large ships. Driven by environmental protection and economical efficiency, the size of ships are increasingly larger, and the resulting springing and whipping response and their effects on fatigue damage has been paid more and more attention especially for ultra large container ships (ULCS). Many classification societies typically check fatigue damage caused by vertical bending when considering springing, while it needs to be emphasized that large container ships can suffer severe torsional loads compared to other large ships due to wide breath and big hatch openings. In the existing stress calculation method, the finite element analysis method obviously has a high calculation accuracy. However, there are so much work to do with FEM model established, and partially refined, operated at all sea states etc., which not only requires much time, but also higher computing equipment. Therefore, in this paper, a simplified calculation method of fatigue damage considering the effect of bending and torsion is proposed, and a 21000TEU will be calculated by this method. The wave loads on the hull structure will be estimated based on the 3D linear hydroelastic theory coupling horizontal and torsional vibration, and the stress caused by bending and torsion will be obtained respectively. Finally, the fatigue damage is calculated by spectral analysis method considering high frequency springing loads. Then the effect on large container ships’ fatigue due to bending and torsional vibration is discussed.

Depression is always the core field of psychological research, and the analysis of misdiagnosis data of depression is also the vital content of depression research. Based on the analysis of misdiagnosis data processing, this paper adopts a order relation analysis method, to correct the problem of inconsistent entropy and entropy transfer relation (when all entropy value tend to be 1). This paper obtains multi-index comprehensive quantitative values, from various angles analysis of misdiagnosis data depression, so as to avoid subjective and one-sided evaluation results. It not only improves the rapidity and practicability of the algorithm, but also makes the analysis of misdiagnosis data more objective and accurate, which can be applied to medical field.

Unlike multimedia streaming applications that require a smooth playback at the client, application of network speech recognition (NSR) that recognizes speech signal in a sentence-by-sentence manner might tolerate an acceptable delay. The acceptable delay is a user-defined time in which the entire sentence data should be received by the server. We proposed a calculation method to investigate the acceptable delay of network speech recognition that employs a speech segmenter to send speech signal sentence-by-sentence over TCP channel to the server. The calculation multiplies the mean packet delay of TCP flow at steady-state with the number of created packets. For validation we implemented a MATLAB program and solved it using 2500 Indonesian speech sentences. The results were then compared with the results of our previous model that used a transient analysis method. It was found that this calculation method is not appropriate due to the transient behavior of the streaming sentences.
