This research is titled “Analysis of Trading volume activity and Average Abnormal Return beforeand after the stock split pada companies listed on the bursa efek indonesia” . this researchaims to analysing is there any differences between the abnormal return and the trading volumeactivity before and after the stock split. The data that have been used in this research are thedaily stock price and the IHSG of the companies who did the stock split in 2011 till 2015.Bythe purposive sampling methods, there is 32 companies who did the stock split that listed onthe bursa efek indonesia. Analysis technique that has been used is Uji normalitas dan uji bedadua sampel berhubungan uji wilcoxon with the event window is 5 days before and 5 days afterthe stock split.The result of this research is show that there is 0,024 < 0,05 significant valuefrom the Pengujian Uji Beda between trading volume activity before and trading volume activityafter stock split. Based on that fact, there is 0,033 < 0,05 significant value from pengujian ujibeda between abnormal return before and bid-ask spread after the stock split. Thus can beinterpreted that there is a difference between abnormal return before and after stock split. Sothat the Indonesia Capital market is yet efficient and yet strong enough by the stock split.Keywords: Stock split, Abnormal Return, Trading volume activity.

This study intends to examine the differences in market reaction around the announcement of the Annual Report Award which is not only measured by abnormal return but is also measured using trading volume activity and stock prices. The data used are quantitative data in the form of a list of companies that received the Annual Report Award for the 2015-2018 period, the daily closing price of the ARA-winning company in the event window, the composite stock price index, the number of shares traded, and the number of shares outstanding. The event window is selected for 11 days because the long window period will blend with the effects of other events or confounding effects. The results of the study concluded that the market reacted around the announcement of the Annual Report Award for the 2015-2018 period measured using abnormal returns, trading volume activity, and stock prices. There is no difference in abnormal returns before and after the announcement of the 2013-2016 Annual Report Award period. Instead there are differences in trading volume activity and stock prices before and after the announcement of the Annual Report Award for the 2015-2018 period.

<p class="Bodytext20">Stock split announcement is one of information type published by emitent that is used to know market reaction. When stock split announcement contains information, the market reacts that is shown by the changing of stock price. This study is intended to describe the effect of stock split announcement to market reaction using event study. This approach is used to identify the reaction of the market which is an activity of trading volume and bid-ask spread of stock used to know stock liquidity. The findings show that there is no significant difference between stock trading volume activity before, during and after stock split announcement. Whereas, the period of before and after the announcement, there is a significant difference of stock trading volume activity. The finding of bid-ask spread stock shows that there is a significant difference in the period of before and after stock split announcement. But there is no significant difference in the period of before and after stock split announcement.</p><p class="Bodytext20"> </p><p class="Bodytext20">Pengumuman pemecahan saham adalah salah satu jenis informasi yang diterbitkan oleh emiten yang digunakan untuk mengetahui reaksi pasar. Bila pengumuman pemecahan saham berisi informasi, pasar bereaksi yang ditunjukkan oleh perubahan harga saham. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efek pengumuman pemecahan saham terhadap reaksi pasar dengan menggunakan kajian peristiwa. Pendekatan ini digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi reaksi pasar yang merupakan aktivitas volume perdagangan dan pemecahan saham yang digunakan untuk mengetahui likuiditas saham. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara aktivitas volume perdagangan saham sebelum, selama dan setelah pengumuman pemecahan saham. Padahal, periode sebelum dan sesudah pengumuman, ada perbedaan yang signifikan dari aktivitas volume perdagangan saham. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan pada periode sebelum dan sesudah pengumuman pemecahan saham. Namun tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan pada periode sebelum dan sesudah pengumuman pemecahan saham.</p>

This research is an event study that aims to determine the market reaction arising from the movement of the capital city of the Republic of Indonesia. The date chosen as the event date is April 29, 2019 when the issue first came out and August 26, 2019 when the official announcement. The samples used in this study are all companies included in the LQ45 index for the February-July 2019 and August 2019-January 2020 periods. The data analysis technique used is the different test. The results showed there were no differences in the average abnormal return before and after the issue first came out, but there were differences in the average abnormal return before and after the official announcement. There is a difference in the average trading volume activity before and after the issue first came out and when the official announcement of the move of the capital of the Republic of Indonesia. This study aims to determine market reaction in the event of simultaneous regional elections in 2018. This research is an event study with a period of observation for 7 days. The study was conducted on companies classified as LQ45 from February to July 2018. The population in this study was 45 companies. The method of determining the sample used is a non probability sampling method with a purposive sampling technique. The sample obtained was 37 companies. The market reaction to the 2018 simultaneous regional elections was measured using abnormal return and trading volume activity. The data analysis technique used is paired-sample t-test. The test results show that there is no difference in average abnormal return and trading volume activity before and after the events of simultaneous regional elections. This shows that simultaneous regional elections in 2018 did not cause market reaction because there was no information content on the event. Keywords: Event study, abnormal return, politics

This research entitle LQ45 stock reaction to the announcement of the cabinet work in 2014 on thestock exchange Indonesia. This analysis technique applies traditional techniques saturated samples. The population of 45 companies in LQ45 period of August 2014-January 2015 with the observation period of 10 days before and 10 days after the announcement/ the analaytical approach used to determine the stock price reaction before and after using one sample t test, while an analysis approach to distinguish the average of abnormal return and trading volume by using a paired sample t test using the alpha level () of 5%. The results of collecting data is to analyze of stock price reaction. It shows that there is no stock price reaction before and after the announcement of the Working cabinet. Because of abnormal return only occurs on H-7 (0.024) and H+8 (0.018), while others do not. The researches used a writting test. Test results of the test on average abnormal return is no difference in the average abnormal return and the announcement of the cabinet work before and after. The test results mean that there are many differences in volume average trading volume before and after the announcement of Labor cabinet.

Stock splits or stock split is to break a piece of stock into n shares so that the new price per share after the stock split is 1 / n of the previous price.This study aims to investigate the market reaction to the announcement of the stock split the company listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange Period 2012-2013. The market reaction is indicated by the presence or absence of abnormal return differences, trading volume activity, and bid-ask spreads before and after the stock split announcement.Type of research is a study of events (event study).The study sample as many as 17 companies based on purposive sampling.Testing is done with a period of 5 days before and 5 after the announcement of the stock split.The technique of data analysis performed using paired sample t-test on abnormal returns while Wilcoxon signed ranks test on trading volume activity and bid-ask spreads.

This research is a study that aims to see whether there is empirical evidence of the reaction of the Indonesian capital market to international political events, namely the 2020 US Presidential Election using abnormal return indicators and trading volume activity. The research methodology used is event research. This study uses primary data taken from the first party and researchers get data directly from a questionnaire given to all employees of IT companies in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The population in this study are stocks that are included in the top 10 capitalization companies in Indonesia. The sampling technique in this study used convinience sampling. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire equipped with an answer level as the choice of respondents to answer questions. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression and the application used SPSS version 22. The results of the paired sample t-test statistical calculation both abnormal return and trading volume activity showed that there was no difference in the average abnormal return and trading volume activity before and after the event.

This study aims to analyze the differences in trading volume activity, bid-ask spread, and abnormal returns before and after the announcement of a stock split in companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from January 2015 to October 2018. A sample of 39 companies announced a stock split during the period are selected based on certain criteria. The Wilcoxon Signed Rank test is used to analyze the differences in trading volume activity, bid-ask spread, and abnormal returns, five days before and after the announcement. The use of nonparametric statistical analysis was carried out because the data were not normally distributed. The results show that there is no difference in trading volume activity around the announcement of the stock split. On the other hand, the bid-ask spread and abnormal return are statistically different around the announcement of the stock split.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the reaction of investors before and after the announcement of PBI number 18/16/PBI/2016 using indicator of abnormal return and trading volume activity. Period of this study is 60 days of estimation period, 10 days before and 10 days after the event. The sample used in this study was 35 company sectors property and real estate listed in Indonesia Sharia Stock Index (ISSI). Analysis technique used is paired sample t-test forabnormal return and Wilcoxon signed-rank test for trading volume activity. The results showed that there are insignificant differences for average abnormal return before and after event. This means in efficient market will difficult to get abnormal return. The results showed that there are significant differences for average trading volume activity before and after event. This means that investors assume the event has good information so that there is a positive market reaction.

This study is event study that was conduct to examine the differences of abnormal return, trading volume, trading frequency and bid-ask spread before and after the events of share split. The object of this research is the companies that did share split and listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2008 - 2015. The samples are 30 companies chosen by purposive sampling method. The criteria are the company did not do corporate action right issue, pre-emptive rights, a share dividend and bonus shares in the same year with share split. Event window used in this study was 30 days consisting of 15 days before and 15 days after the share split. Data analysis technique begins with a test of normality using Kolmogorov – Smirnov and transform for unnormally distributed data. Then, test of hypothesis using Paired t – test to compare the differences before and after share split. The results of this study showed that volume trading activity and trading frequency had significant differences before and after the share split. While, variable abnormal return and bid-ask spread had not significant differences before and after the share split.
