Abstract The ultimate objective is to evaluate the efficacy of three-dimensional printers (3DP) for manufacturing a rear spoiler for radio-controlled (RC) racing cars. This research work focuses on the development of a multicritaeria decision making (MCDM) model for selecting a 3DP. The selection process includes multiple adverse criteria such as maximum print volume (E1), speed of operation (E2), minimum thickness (E3), extruder capacity (E4), printer cost (E5) and filament material cost (E6). To reduce this adverse nature of the assessment criteria, the preference selection index (PSI) method is anticipated as an MCDM technique for selecting the most suitable 3DP. In this work, ten alternative printers, Lulzbot TAZ 5 (A1), Ultimaker 2 (A2), Zortrax (A3), Wanhao duplicator 4 (A4), Airwolf 3D AW3D HD2X (A5), Flash forge creator X(A6), Makerbot replicator original (A7), Delta non-turbo WASP 2040(A8), Artifex duo 2 (A9), UP plus 2 (A10)are considered for the assessment process. From the suggested PSI models, the Wanhao duplicator 4 (A4) has emerged as a suitable 3DP for RC car application.

This article first presents a brief survey of the role and functions filled by the personal aide (chef de cabinet) of a minister in Quebec. The analysis continues, in a comparative perspective, by tracing a sociological and professional portrait of the Liberal“chefs de cabinet” in April 1976 and their successors in the pequiste government in July 1977.We then test the hypothesis that the cleavage between the government and the dominant economic forces has increased since November 15, 1976 as a result of the ideology articulated by the“chefs de cabinet” regarding the social and economic aims of the state. This hypothesis was confirmed. The hypothesis that the pequiste“chefs de cabinet” exercise a more pronounced influence on the decision-making process is also confirmed. Nevertheless, one cannot argue that the pequiste“chefs de cabinet” usurped the power of the legislators; their influence is more political than technocratic. The growing influence of the pequiste“chefs de cabinet” neverthelsss helps to accentuate the tensions and conflicts between the higher civil service and the ministerial aides.

Mitigation policy is regarded as an effective strategy to achieve the purpose of building health resilience and reducing disaster risk with the current high frequency of environmental event occurrences. To enhance public acceptance of mitigation policy, the issue of decision-making behavior has been a concern of researchers and planners. In the past literature, qualitative measures employed to reveal the behavioral intention of hazard risk mitigation cause restricted outcomes due to the problem of sample representativeness and the fact that quantitative research is restricted to discuss the linear relationship between the two selected variables. The purpose of this article is to attempt to construct a Mitigation Policy Acceptance Model (MPAM) to analyze the behavioral intention of seismic risk mitigation strategies. Based on Dual Processing Theory, affective is conducted as the core variable for constructing two types of thinking processes, and the variables of risk perception, trust and responsibility are selected in MPAM from theories and past research. In this study, the mitigation policy of residential seismic strengthening, adapted in Yongkang District of Tainan, has been conducted as the case study. According to the results, the result of model fit test has confirmed the MPAM framework, and two thinking modes could be associated together when people face a risky decision-making process. The variable of affective is the most effective factor to influence each variable, and a direct effect on intention is also shown in this model. The results could provide suggestions in communication risk strategies for the government.

Many companies are facing a constant need to develop coordination between operational functions to quickly respond to customer requests. Thus, many practitioners are resorting to an established and integrated business management methodology, the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP). The impact of the S&OP on operational performance was significantly demonstrated in many studies. However, it turns out that the theoretical studies made differ from what is actually applied, in addition to several parameters that are considered in the calculations especially with regard to Japanese industries. So, how is S&OP operated in this industry? What are the different calculation parameters used? and how are the results obtained and analyzed? In this paper, we will first present a short literature review of S&OP and its role and benefits. Then, we present a model of S&OP used in a wire harnesses Japanese industry. The goal is to show first a concrete example, where we present the various parameters considered in the calculations, and then we will explain how the resulting graphs are analyzed by managers and what could be done as corrective actions in case of gap existing.

As a pioneering effort, this study analyses the consumer decision-making process at the Base of the Pyramid (BoP). This study proposes consumer vulnerability, bounded rationality, locking-in effect and opportunism as major constructs influencing the consumer decision-making process at the BoP. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), this study has integrated the transaction cost perspective into the consumer decision-making process at the BoP, which is a novel contribution to the literature of consumer behaviour. This work has recognised the importance of the retailer and its role in the decision-making process, and adds a new perspective to the study of BoP as well as to consumer behaviour theories. This study will be helpful to businesses while serving the BoP segment by crafting appropriate marketing strategies for this segment.

The Covid-19 pandemic that has spread throughout the country has made the government decide teaching and learning activities to be carried out boldly (online). Learning makes students bored and eventually lazy to learn. Researchers are trying to create new breakthroughs to increase student learning motivation to increase, namely by utilizing interactive learning media based on kahoot in brave learning. This study uses a literature review method where the data obtained from research comes from articles or journals that are relevant to the topic, or other people's research results are then analyzed again to draw a conclusion. The results of this research kahoot interactive media can be used in bold learning because of its easy use and includes a link or website so that it can be accessed by students. This interactive media also makes students not easily bored in the learning process. Learning that increases in fun can make students' learning motivation, this is because students do not feel bored easily when learning takes place, so students feel motivated and feel comfortable when learning using Kahoot media.
