ABSTRACT This study aims to identify the challenges of implementing online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic from the perspectives of faculty members of pre-service teachers affiliated with the special education program at King Saud University (KSU). Four challenges have been investigated: those related to students, faculty members, technology, and administration. The study adopted the descriptive approach and used a survey as a data collection tool. The sample consisted of 55 faculty members working at the pre-service teachers’ programs affiliated with the special education department at KSU. Findings revealed challenges that hinder implementing online learning, as follows: challenges related to students was first, followed by those related to technology, faculty members and administration. The study concludes that such challenges should be sorted out to help achieve the objectives of online learning

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui proses bimbingan keagamaan, fungsi bimbingan keagamaan serta hasil bimbingan keagamaan dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan spiritual remaja di Boarding School SMK PPN Tanjungsari. Dengan pertanyaan penelitian 1) Bagaimana proses bimbingan keagamaan di Boarding School SMK PPN Tanjungsari?, 2) Bagaiamana fungsi bimbingan keagamaan di Boarding School SMK PPN Tanjungsari?, 3) Bagaimana hasil bimbingan keagamaan dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan spiritual remaja di Boarding School SMK PPN Tanjungsari?. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan datanya dilakukan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, dikarenakan masalah yang diteliti perlu dilukiskan secara sistematis dan faktual dengan menggambarkan keadaan atau status fenomena. Hasil bimbingan keagamaan di Boarding School SMK PPN adalah munculnya aspek-aspek kecerdasan spiritual pada remaja seperti kesadaran untuk menghayati proses ibadah bukan sebagai pengguguran kewajiban, terbiasa berperilaku baik, memiliki prinsip keadilan, memiliki prinsip kebenaran, mampu mengambil hikmah dari musibah yang dihadapinya, bersikap fleksibel, bersikap kritis dan merenungkan penyebab serta alasan segala sesuatu terjadi. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa bimbingan keagamaan di Boarding Schoool SMK PPN memiliki peranan yang sangat menunjang dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan spiritual remaja. The purpose of this study is to find out how the proccess of islamic guidance, function of islamic guidance, and result of islamic guidance to increase SpritualQuetiont in adolescence. With research questions 1) How the proccess of islamic guidance to increase spiritual quetiont on adolescence ?, 2) What is the function of islamic guidance to increase Spiritual Quetiont on adolescence?, 3) How are the results of islamic guidance to increase Spiritual Quetiont on adolescence?. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive approach with subject and object of research is guidancer. While the data collection tool in this study through observation, direct interview and written interviews. From the results of research conducted at Boarding School SMK PPN Tanjungsari, it appears of Spiritual Quetiont in adolescents. Such as the behavior of living the worship process, get used to behave well, be fair, be wise, able to take lessons from the difficulties they experienced, be flexible, be critical. So, we can conclude that islamic Guidance has a very supportive role in increasing adolescent Spiritual Quetiont.

This study aims to determine and describe the use of online communication tools via whatsapp group in learning dance in class X OTKP SMK Kartika 1-2 Padang. This research is a qualitative study using a descriptive approach. The object of this research was 29 students of class X OTKP SMK Kartika 1-2 Padang. The research instrument was the researcher itself and was assisted by data collection tools such as dance videos, Whatsapp groups, and direct observation with the teacher doingthe instruction by using online learning communication tools for dance learning. The results of the research show that the use of online communication tools via WhatsApp group runs very well. Students are able to learn from any source in which at this time, the students can learn through technology / mobile phones.Students can access lessons learned such as learning dance practice on YouTube. At the second and third meetings, it can be seen that students understand and can do movements without the help of the teacher, and they can memorize only through YouTube. The last meeting also shows excellent learning outcomes. However, the teacher cannot assess the extent of the students' abilities in learning due to the fact that the teacher cannot monitor directly. Instead, the teacher can only provide direction in the form of solutions through Whatsapp group. Thus, the researcher concludes that the use of online communication tools via Whatsapp group in learning dance in class X OTKP is conducted well, and it can be used in learning dance practice.Keywords: The Use, Online Communication Tools, WhatsApp Group, Dance

The study aimed to identify the credibility level of electronic press sites and their correlation with the reliability level as seen by the Saudi elite. To verify the aim, the study followed the descriptive approach. The study sample consisted of (102), representing the audience of the Saudi academic elite and media who use Internet as general and electronic press sites in particular, (Media faculty members of Saudi universities), the study was applied to the Saudi newspaper websites such as (Okaz newspaper, Middle East newspaper, Riyadh newspaper, and Sabk newspaper). The researcher conducted special criteria for the study of website reliability standards of the newspaper. The field study, survey applying, and data collection were conducted in October and November 2018. This study showed the following results: There is a statistically significant correlation between the exposure intensity of the Saudi elite to the study sample websites and their reliability level on it. This means that the greater the exposure of the Saudi elite to the electronic press sites, the greater the level of their reliability on it, and proved a statistically significant correlation between the intensity of the exposure of the Saudi elite to the electronic press sites of the study sample and the credibility level. It also showed a significant correlation between the intensity of the exposure of the Saudi elite to the website’s contents of the study press sample and the motivations of its pursuance in the future. The study concludes a number of recommendations, the most important of which is that the press websites should be concerned with the standard of interaction in terms of communication with the author, and conduct studies on the contact persons who working in the field of newspaper websites to find out the most important pressures and factors affecting their credibility of transferring information.

ABSTRACTThis study is aimed to determine: (1) the use of posters as a medium of learning at the workshop of Education Department of Civil Engineering and Planning FT UNY, (2) requirements in making posters as instructional media, and (3) Correspondence between poster as a learning media with the workshop at Department of Education of Civil Engineering and Planning FT UNY. This study Applies a descriptive approach (descriptive research). In this study, the researchers did not provide any treatment to what is observed however only describes in detail merely to what was found in the data collection. The findings of this study are (1) poster has been used as a medium of learning both in carpentry, plumbing workshop, and rock workshop. Poster is used to convey information such as personal protective equipment, work step, parts of an instrument, learning products, and K3 (2) the factors of the preconditions if poster at carpentry and rock workshop have been fulfilled. However the preconditions the form of size and color of poster at the plumbing workshop still need to be resized. In addition, the suitability factors such as ease of posters indicators in order to be easily seen in carpentry and plumbing workshop also need to be resized. Other indicators contained in preconditions factors such as expediency and suitability in the third workshop have been fulfilled. (3) The compliance of poster in carpentry, plumbing workshop, and rock workshop at the Education Department of Civil Engineering and Planning FT UNY is good. Posters are suitable to the function and purpose of each workshop. They only need resizing and repositioning. Keywords: instructional media, posters, workshop  ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) penggunaan poster sebagai media pembelajaran di bengkel Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Sipil dan Perencanaan FT UNY (2) persyaratan dalam pembuatan poster sebagai media pembelajaran (3) Kesesuaian antara media pembelajaran poster dengan bengkel di Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Sipil dan Perencanaan FT UNY. Penelitian ini menggunaan pendekatan deskriptif (descriptive reasearch). Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti tidak memberikan perlakuan terhadap apa yang diteliti tetapi hanya sebatas mendeskripsikan secara detail terhadap apa yang ditemukan dalam pengambilan data. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) Poster telah dimanfaatkan sebagai media pembelajaran baik di bengkel kayu, bengkel plambing, maupun bengkel batu. Poster digunakan untuk menyampaikan informasi alat pelindung diri, langkah kerja, bagian-bagian dari suatu alat, produk pembelajaran, maupun K3 (2) Faktor prasyarat poster di bengkel kayu dan bengkel batu sudah terpenuhi. Hanya saja untuk prasyarat berupa indikator ukuran dan warna poster di bengkel plambing masih perlu ditingkatkan. Selain itu, faktor kesesuaian berupa indikator kemudahan poster untuk terlihat di bengkel kayu dan plambing juga perlu ditingkatkan. Indikator lain yang terdapat pada faktor prasyarat, kemanfaatan, dan kesesuaian di ketiga bengkel tersebut sudah terpenuhi (3) Kesesuaian poster di bengkel kayu, bengkel plambing, dan bengkel batu di Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Sipil dan Perencanaan FT UNY sudah baik. Poster sudah sesuai dengan fungsi dan maksud masing-masing bengkel. Hanya saja perlu adanya pembenahan dalam penempatan poster.Kata kunci: media pembelajaran, poster, bengkel

Since China has a favored-nation status, there has been an increase in the exchange of information between the United States and China over the past few years. Through the joint efforts of these two countries, a training program for Chinese special educators was developed. This article describes the author's teaching experience and general impressions while lecturing in this special education program.

AbstractAs part of a four-year professional development program centered on increasing special education faculty members’ cultural responsiveness, the faculty members interviewed culturally and/or linguistically diverse (CLD) teacher candidates nearing completion of the special education program at a large Western university. The interviews, which focused on the candidates’ experiences during their time in the program, were conducted in the candidates’ homes. Each interview was audio and/or videotaped and transcribed verbatim, then analyzed using the inductive analysis design for qualitative research. The CLD candidates described types of learning activities and professor behaviors that had helped them to be successful. They also contributed suggestions to benefit future CLD candidates, including recommendations for professors and for the program as a whole.

This study examines the perceptions of special educators concerning the provision of occupational therapy as a related service in school systems. Four faculty members, affiliated with two universities, revealed in interviews that they have limited understanding of the role of occupational therapy in the educational setting and that they are concerned about fragmentation in the field of special education, The educators' inability to understand the specific contribution occupational therapy can make toward increasing a student's ability to benefit from special education and the lack of communication between educators and therapists can affect the provision of occupational therapy in schools. It appears that therapists will have to take the initiative in communicating with educators because they have not sought this information for themselves.

Online learning during a pandemic tends to overlook the affective aspects which are very important in the 2013 Curriculum. In line with the implementation of KMA 183 2019 in the 2020/2021 school year, jurisprudence learning in madrasas must also adjust. This paper aims to suggest ways of applying the affective aspects even in online learning as it is today. Because online learning is very dependent on adequate technological literacy, while there are still many people who are not at that level. This research is a library research with a descriptive approach and the data collection technique uses library materials. The results of the study from various literature sources are concluded to be an explanation for solving the problem. From this research it was found that there are various ways that can be used to maintain the affective aspects of online learning, one of which is when in Basic Competence (KD) about spiritual aspects, namely: "Living and practicing everything that has been taught for good things is as a form of gratitude for the gift of Allah SWT ", so to achieve this goal in online learning can be implemented using video media or film footage that explains and contains points to appreciate all the material taught in fiqh learners as a gift from Allah SWT. The variety of ways of learning can be epective depending on the teacher's strategy and what media or learning services are used in the online learning being carried out.

The current study aimed to discover the extent of faculty members knowledge of the services provided to students with disabilities, in addition to identify their attitudes towards providing academic accommodations to students with disabilities. The study investigated the differences in participants' responds attributed to gender, college, academic rank, and years of experience. The researcher used the descriptive approach, using the questionnaire as a data collection tool. The study sample consisted of 213 faculty members at King Saud University. The results showed deficiency of knowledge in the faculty members of procedures and services provided to students with disabilities in university, however, they showed positive attitude towards providing accommodations for students. The results did not show any statistically significant differences in the mean of participants' responses related to current study variables. The study introduced some recommendations that would support university education for students with disabilities. This study discusses Islamic values revealed in students’ communication in Edmodo learning platform. It investigated whether there was the implementation of Islamic values in the conversation and responses in the learning platform, both implicitly and explicitly. This study also observed the students’ participation in the conversation platform. In the data collection, this study used observation and questionnaire, and the researcher used descriptive approach to analyze the data. There was analysis on the students’ conversation forms in the online platform. The result revealed that the students integrated Islamic values through their communication styles in the online learning activity, in the form of some short expressions and in the content of the conversations. Not only did the values appear explicitly, but they could also be noted implicitly in the sentences which contained suggestions, polite greetings, and consoling others. This study concludes that the students had been able to incorporate Islamic values they learned both formally and informally in their daily communication. Those uses of Islamic terms and the existences of Islamic values in the English online conversation made this group distinctive from other online communities.
