This study aims to explain and describe the interaction of policy actors in the implementation of online learning. This study uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive case study approach. Data collection techniques in this study are through observation, documentation, and interviews. The instruments in this study were: a) the researcher himself, b) interview guidelines, c) supporting tools in the form of books, pens, and d) related documents. The results showed that actor interaction can occur if there is communication between implementing actors. Communication in the implementation of online learning can be seen in the accuracy or accuracy of communication and consistency of communication regarding online learning information from the principal to the teacher and finally to students and parents. Interaction between actors, namely principals, teachers, students, and parents in the implementation of online learning has not been carried out effectively. This is because the interaction between implementing actors is unresponsive to one party, namely students and parents. Apart from that, giving complicated and difficult assignments by the teacher, which makes it difficult for students and parents to understand, is also a factor in the existence of negligence or delay

This study aimed at analyzing the character education practices in an elementary school in Badung to know how the characters were designed, implemented, and assessed as well as analyzing the obstacles encountered by the teachers in integrating character values into their lessons. The data were collected through descriptive case study method involving one English teacher and 38 grade five students. The data were collected through observations, interviews, and document analysis. The findings reveal that character values were not explicitly stated in most lesson plans, however, they are detectable in integration with the learning materials, learning strategies, and learning activities. However, the implementation of the character values seemed ineffective since the focus seemed to scatter around the level of moral action and ignored the moral knowledge and feeling. This means that students were mostly told about what to do with very limited reasons and consequences of the values. It was also found that the assessment for characters was very subjective in nature, since the method used was only an observation.

The main objective of this research is to establish the measurement of pre-service teachers on the MOOC phenomenon, one of the most important manifestations within the processes of on-line education that have emerged under the protection of the digital paradigm. The research methodology used was of an exploratory, qualitative, and descriptive nature. It falls within the generic scope of qualitative research methods of an ethnographic nature through the analysis of learning objects and interventions in the network. The sample (n = 218) was composed of students from the educational field, who took a subject focused on ICT applied to education, over several academic years. Using the edublog as a digital and documentary source, a total of 1962 frequencies were collected referring to the advantages (1052 frequencies) and limitations (910 frequencies) that they determined when carrying out these courses. As main results, it is worth mentioning that pre-service teachers consider MOOC courses valuable as teaching models in socio-educational contexts. They offer unquestionable advantages such as free of charge usage, training for disadvantaged groups, flexible hours, etc. However, their disadvantages are also important. For example, it is considered that these courses do not adequately follow up on the student, that the materials they offer are not very innovative, or also that the evaluation of the learning is inadequate. It is interesting to note that the main problems identified are of a pedagogical, not technical, nature.

In another sense, qualitative research is a research approach that is carried out in a natural setting, placing the researcher as a data collection instrument, using inductive analysis and focusing on meaning according to the participant's perspective. Sources of data in this study that became the subject of the study were parents of families associated with Javanese transmigrant families in Nagari Sungai Rumbai, Dharmasraya Regency. While the informants are those who provide information about the research being carried out, namely, children or other family members in Javanese families. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. As well as the validity of the data obtained from this study was done by triangulation of sources. The results of the study show that (1) the role of family education at home is in the form of compassion (rasa), sharpening (cipta), and fostering (karsa), (2) the role of family education in terms of the use of regional languages, including families who have succeeded in teaching speech, namely passing on good use of the Javanese language to families and teach polite and courteous behavior, (3) the supporting factors are inviting to speak Javanese, marrying fellow Javanese descendants, and inviting children in social activities using the Javanese language. While the inhibiting factors are the influence of the majority language in which the regional language is used, the influence of the environment and association, and the younger generation does not appreciate the local language.
