Professional competencies are considered as key to perform job responsibilities. Training professionals of Agricultural Training Institutes (ATIs) are engaged in imparting various skills and expertise to extension field staff in the form of training so that they would perform their tasks and responsibilities in a better way to disseminate advanced agricultural knowledge. In this scenario, the present study was designed to investigate various competencies possessed by the training professionals of ATIs in the Punjab province of Pakistan. For this purpose, data was collected from all training professionals working in all ATIs of Punjab Province in Pakistan. A well-structured questionnaire was developed as an instrument of the study. Descriptive statistics including frequencies, means and standard deviations were applied through Statistical Packages for Social Sciences. Results reveal that training professional of ATIs possess computer skill especially MS word and email skills. Motivational skills, lecture delivery skills and communication skills were ranked at top, which are being possessed by training professionals. Moreover, the results recommend that the government should launch capacity building programs to develop professional competencies of training professionals on regular basis.

The current state and problems of agricultural advisory organization in Ukraine on the basis of historical analysis of the evolution of the formation and development of agricultural knowledge and information in the world and in modern Ukraine, the involvement of peasants in the active use of innovative solutions in agricultural production, storage and processing of agricultural products was highlighted. The basic principles of the organization of agricultural advisory activity, features of interaction of advisory services with agrarian business, the government, a science and education were formulated. Forms of scientific-consulting and information support of the processes of transfer of innovative technologies in agro-industrial production were given. Ways to improve the organization of agricultural advisory activities in Ukraine using the potential of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine were proposed. The edition is recommended for specialists of agricultural advisory services, scientists, teachers and students of agricultural education institutions, participants of the system of training and retraining of personnel of the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine.

Hilsa fish (Tenualosa ilisha) have become an essential factor behind the well-being of the fishing community, giving fishers their identity as a source of cultural heritage. A field survey was conducted to understand the socio-economic conditions of hilsa fishers at the Meghna river estuary of Chandpur District using well-structured questionnaire interviews (N = 250) with hilsa fishers. The survey revealed that fishers’ livelihoods and living conditions were still below average due to low literacy levels, lack of professional skills, and low incomes. More than two-thirds of the fishers were entirely dependent on hilsa fishing, while more than one-third had between 11 and 20 years of fishing experience. More than two-thirds of the fishers did not have an alternative occupation during ban periods, and the incentives provided by the government were not adequately received by half of the fishers. Fishers were divided into three groups according to their dependence on hilsa fishing. Significant differences were found between these groups in terms of the age of fishers, annual income from fishing, and annual fishing activity days. Therefore, the government, Fisheries cooperatives, NGOs, and other relevant organizations must unite to support fishers for sustainable management.

Globally food shortage is still a problem for instance Africa, the most of popular region in the world still has the highest of under nourished. The probable answer to what are the factors influencing food shortage In Tanzania are not well known and documented. This study sought to assess the factors influencing the food shortage in Mtwara Mikindani Municipality by identifying factors influencing food shortage, determining the status of food availability and accessibility and finding out the possible measures to be taken in order to overcome the problem of food. Structured questionnaire, observation and Oral interview had been useful for collecting primary information in which the best recorded interviewees were analyzed supplemented by documentaries. Generally, this study concludes that food shortage in the study area is influencing by, climate change, bad tradition believe, poor government support, laziness culture, land degradation and infertility land. However, the government should not delay to implement its policies practically especially to the small producers so as to establish strong base on agriculture. Also, the government to employ as many as it can agricultural officers so as to allow farmers to get frequent visitors who will  advise them on how to produce efficiently their products by using irrigation methods and scientific methods like the use of improved seeds.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the factors influencing credit access for firms in the biogas sub sector in Kenya.Methodology: The study adopted descriptive survey. The target population of the study was the firms in biogas sub sector in Kenya. A sample of 40 firms was selected from all the firms using the random sampling technique. Both qualitative and quantitative data was collected using a questionnaire that consisted of both open ended and close ended questions. Data was analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) and results presented in frequency tables to show how the responses for the various questions posed to the respondents. The data was then analyzed in terms of descriptive statistics like frequencies, means and percentages.Results: The study findings revealed that firms in biogas sub sector had low access to credit from the banks. It was also possible to conclude that age of firm, capital invested, size of the business, financial records, risk preference and access to information influence the level of access to credit by renewable energy sector firms.Policy recommendation: It is recommended that micro financing institutions should regulate the products and services they offer to SMEs so as to have all clients enclosed in their loan portfolio. The study further recommends that banks should work hand in hand with the government to support upcoming businesses and offer financial support.

This study is set out to analyze the Configuration (behavior) of Nigerian firms’ export marketing in the global market. This can be appreciated from the fact that export play important role in the socio-economic development of nations; in the areas of value creation and facilitate economics of abundance for national development. The data were generated through structured questionnaire administered on sixty exporting firms located in Lagos. The data were statistically subjected to T-tests, employing Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), in Special Packages for Social Sciences (SPSS). The findings revealed that Nigerian exporting firms are patterned into Experimental, Active, and Committed. The findings also showed that Nigeria firms’ years of export involvement influence their pattern of export, just as company size and number of employee’s impact on firms’ categorization of export involvement. The findings of this study are peculiar because it focuses on Nigeria firms involved in export, and give valuable insight on the prospects and challenges on pattern of Nigerian firms’ marketing activities in the global market. Nigeria’s desire to attain the economic vision of 202020 (being among 20 top Global Economies in the Year 2020) will be enhanced and achieved; if the findings of this study are professionally and sincerely pursued, and what it can contribute to the nation’s development is positively considered by stakeholders.

During this pandemic, cycling has become an increasingly popular activity in Indonesian society. more and more people are flocking to bike. The reasons are also various, some are cycling to avoid cramming on public transportation for fear of contracting the corona virus, some are aimed only at eliminating boredom while doing Work From Home (WFH). Cycling also has many benefits including reducing stress, reducing the risk of degenerative desease, controlling body weight, and increasing body strength, balance and muscle coordination. However, there are still many problems with free space on the bicycle paths in the Jakarta area. One of the problems on bicycle paths that is often encountered is the difficulty of making the bicycle paths become steering due to several reasons. Therefore, this study aims to determine the level of satisfaction of the people of Jakarta, especially bicycle lane users to the bicycle lanes that have been provided by the Government. This research was conducted directly by observing the research location. And distribute questionnaires to the public to determine the level of respondent satisfaction. Processing of data analysis used descriptive statistical methods with the help of the application of the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS).ABSTRAKDi masa pandemi ini, bersepeda menjadi kegiatan yang makin populer di lakukan oleh masyrakat Indonesia. semakin banyak orang berbondong-bondong untuk bersepeda. Alasannya pun beragam ada yang bersepeda untuk menghindari berdesakan di kendaraan umum karena takut tertular virus corona ada pula yang bertujuan hanya untuk menghilangkan kejenuhan selama melakukan Work From Home (WFH). Bersepeda juga memiliki banyak manfaat diantaranya adalah mengurangi stres, mengurangi risiko penyakit degeneratif, mengandalikan berat badan, dan meningkatkan kekuatan, keseimbangan, dan koordinasi otot tubuh. Akan tetapi masih terdapat banyak masalah pada lajur sepeda yang ada di kawasan jakarta ini. Salah satu masalah pada lajur sepeda yang sering dijumpai adalah sulitnya membuat lajur sepeda menjadi stelir dikarenakan oleh beberapa hal. Oleh sebab itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kepuasan masyarakat jakarta khususnya para pengguna lajur sepeda terhadap lajur sepeda yang telah disediakan oleh Pemerintah. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara langsung dengan melakukan pengamatan di lokasi penelitian dan membagikan kuesioner kepada masyarakat untuk mengetahui tingkat kepuasan responden. Pengolahan analisis data menggunakan metode statistika deskriptif dengan bantuan aplikasi Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS).

Nigeria is facing profound social, economic and environmental impact of population growth, development and environmental constraints. It is apparent that government alone has limited capacity to deal with all these problems. NGOs being one of the most effective partners have been playing supportive roles with the government, in some cases, they are considered more effective to get attached with the grass root level developmental initiatives. However, despite the role NGOs played, their presence and impact is not fully evaluated, recognized and appreciated by many governments and community members. It is for this reason this article attempts to examine whether projects executed by NGOs have any impact on sustainable development in Katsina Metropolis, given special emphasis on projects that dealt with environmental protection, poverty alleviation and health care services. The study further look at whether efficiency of NGOs officials has any impact on success of sustainable development projects execution.  A structured questionnaire was used to collect data from 150 NGOs beneficiaries in five (5) selected political wards of twelve (12) in Katsina metropolis. Interviews was used to collect relevant data using a structured questionnaire from NGOs officials which include; development officers and facilitators in five (5) selected NGO offices operating in Katsina Metropolis namely; Save the Children, Service to Humanity Foundation, Murna Foundation, Katsina Friends of Environment and Makudawa Skills Acquisition. Frequency and chi-square analysis was used to present the results. The findings revealed that NGOs are complementing government efforts towards achieving sustainable development through their projects, and efficiency of NGOs officials has significant impact on success of sustainable development projects executed in the area. The findings of the study can benefit government and NGOs in creating more areas of collaboration in order to achieve sustainable development.

<p>Advertising has the most prominent and vital impact on buying behavior of consumers. Smart phones have gained a lot of popularity in Nepal and are considered to be a great multimedia tool. With such growing demand of smartphones, the need for effective advertising has also been raised. This paper centers on the impact of advertising on the sales volume of Smartphones. This work will shed light on how advertising can really affect a consumer’s buying decisions in a growing economy and how successful advertising can keep businesses going even in the midst of a tough competition. The entire data is collected by distributing structured questionnaire to the 150 respondents within Kathmandu valley. The outcome generated from descriptive statistic is that, most of the respondents own Samsung phone followed by iPhone and Online media is considered as the most effective adverting tool among other two. From the findings, we can also examine that there is insignificant relationship between gender and trust of information towards advertisement. Similarly, online, offline and electronic media have a insignificant association between gender, whereas influence through the advertisement of a brand has a significant association among age. AbstractThis study investigates the extent to which tenants in a jewellery incubator in the Limpopo Province of South Africa network. Since 1994 SEDA has set up more than 31 incubation centres in furniture making, construction, chemicals, jewellery, ICT, metal fabrication, agriculture and small scale mining. This study was done through a survey conducted on tenants in the SEDA Limpopo Jewellery Incubator (SLJI). Information was obtained through a structured questionnaire. The study revealed how tenants benefit from networking around exhibitions and collective purchasing of raw material. Through the Incubator institutional mechanisms, the study explains how tenants share expertise, experiences, technology and resources. Unfortunately the tenants do not initiate the own networking programmes. They lose out on benefits associated with collective effort in other areas such as advertisements, lobbying the government for industrial stands, organising an newsletter, hiring of consultants, and organising joint training programmes. Lastly the study identified opportunities that the tenants could collectively exploit in order strengthen and sustain their businesses.

In the era of the diffusion of e-commerce and its services offered to the consumers over the Internet, the Internet is commonly used by both consumers and businesses to buy and sell their goods and services worldwide. This study focuses on the factors influencing customers' decisions and attitudes toward adopting online shopping in Jordan. The study found that online shopping in Jordan is still not very common, due to challenges and barriers that affect the diffusion of online shopping: delivery barriers, such as the lack of prepared transportation and mapping infrastructure, lack of reliable delivery system for delivering bought goods to the customers caused by the lack of postcode system; and lack of knowledge and awareness about the benefits of e-commerce among retailers and consumers. A structured questionnaire was distributed among 50 participants (university students, employees/professionals etc.), and then the collected data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences Version 18.02 (SPSS). The results show that attitudes toward online shopping and intention to shop online were affected by lack of human resources, such as low level of experience in using the Internet and shopping websites for shopping, lack of developed IT infrastructure, trust in e-retailers, and online payment and delivery service concerns. However, Jordanian consumers are willing to adopt and recommend online shopping for others as an alternative way for shopping.
