Recently, logistics platforms that facilitate interaction and the exchange and transaction of information have quickly emerged in the Korean domestic market. In order to further advance the development of logistics platforms into green logistics platforms in which participation in the early stages is not active, appropriate checks and balances are needed so that service providers, users, and platform operators can grow together in green logistics platforms. The purpose of this study is to empirically verify the factors affecting participants’ intentions to use green logistics platforms. Out of the 230 questionnaires distributed from 25 June to 11 July 2019, 14 were excluded from analyses due to unsatisfactory responses, while 216 responses were used for statistical processing. The structural equation model (SEM) was used to test hypotheses in this research. The results showed that the network effect and security factors influenced perceived usefulness, and trust did not affect perceived usefulness. Perceived usefulness also significantly influenced the intention to use green logistics platforms. The results of this study present strategies and directions for the future development of green logistics platforms.

Accessing financial services is considered one of the main challenges facing communities during crises. This research studies the role of using FinTech applications to build resilience during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research empirically examines the factors affecting Jordanian citizens’ intention to use FinTech applications. The sample of the research comprised 500 potential FinTech service users in Jordan. Based on the research conceptual model, five hypotheses were developed and tested using structural equation modeling techniques (SEM-PLS). The research results indicate that perceived benefits and social norms significantly affect the intention to use FinTech applications. However, it has been found that perceived technology risks do not significantly affect the intention to use FinTech applications. Moreover, the results also indicate that customer trust is significantly mediating the relationship between perceived risks and intention to use FinTech applications. FinTech service providers should insure that their products are easy to use, fulfill needs and protect consumers’ data in order to ensure trust, hence positively influencing consumer adoption.

Teachers in the US have been increasingly adopting mobile devices for teaching, but little research has examined how pre-service teachers perceive mobile device integration in classrooms. To address this issue, the study developed a research model that explained factors affecting pre-service teachers' intention to use mobile devices and the relationship among the factors. A total of 386 pre-service teachers participated in an online survey, and the model was tested using structural equation modeling. The results showed that 72.5% of variances in pre-service teachers' intention to use mobile devices were explained by perceived usefulness and self-efficacy for technology integration jointly, where perceived usefulness was the strongest predictor. The findings also demonstrated that constructivist beliefs and perceived ease of use indirectly influenced pre-service teachers' intention to use mobile devices for teaching.

E-Lifestyles are individual forms of behavior in the digital environment that reflect the values, activities, interests, and opinions of consumers. Likewise, fitness Apps are considered technological tools for promoting physical activity online. Although there are studies related to sports lifestyles, it has not been analyzed yet how e-lifestyles are related to the use of fitness Apps. Based on this, this study represents a step to clarify how e-lifestyles influence different relationships with perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, attitude, and intentions to use Fitness Apps. Therefore, the objective of the study was to analyze the relationship between the e-lifestyles of consumers of Boutique fitness centers and their relationship with the perceived ease of use, the perceived usefulness, the attitude, and the intention to use Fitness Apps. The sample was 591 customers (378 women and 213 men) of 25 Boutique fitness centers. An online questionnaire was used for data collection. Data was analyzed with confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation model. Findings provide an insight into the importance of e-lifestyles in the intention of using fitness Apps and therefore in promoting physical activity through online fitness services. The results showed positive relationships between e-lifestyles, perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness and attitude toward fitness Apps. Finally, the attitude toward fitness Apps offered a very high predictive value on use intention. This study provides a better understanding of consumer´s intention to use fitness Apps. BACKGROUND Electronic health (e-health) is becoming a prominent component of the health care system. The implementation and sustainable adoption of e-health systems is now taking as a big agenda in developing countries like Ethiopia, hence it all about saving a millions of lives. Even though there are some pilot e-health implementations, the success and sustainability of the systems are found less than the expected. So, this study aims to fill the gap in identifying the factors affecting sustainable adoption of e-health systems using the revised technology acceptance model at five referral hospitals of Amhara regional state of Ethiopia. OBJECTIVE To identify the factors affecting sustainable adoption of e-health systems using the revised technology acceptance model at five referral hospitals of Amhara regional state of Ethiopia. METHODS Institutional based cross-sectional study design was conducted among a total of 384 health care professionals. Self-administered questionnaire was used to collect the data. And the data were entered and the descriptive data were analyzed using Epi-info version 7 and SPSS version 20 respectively. Structural equation modeling, using AMOS 22, was also used to measure and clarify the degree of relationships between variables. RESULTS The findings of the structural equation modeling (SEM) indicates that perceived usefulness has significance influence on attitude (β =0.29, P<0.01) and intention to use e-health (β =0.38, P<0.01); technical infrastructure has significance influence on attitude (β =0.41, P<0.01) and intention to use e-health (β =0.34, P<0.01); staffs IT experience has significance influence on attitude (β =0.26, P<0.05); security concerns of a system has significance influence on attitude (β =0.34, P<0.05) and intention to use e-health (β =0.33, P<0.01); and attitude has also significance influence on intention to use e-health (β =0.52, P<0.01), respectively. CONCLUSIONS Electronic health system implementers and executives in resource limited settings are in urgent need of adoption models to design proper implementation strategies. The constructs; perceived usefulness, technical infrastructure, staffs IT experience, security concerns and attitude portrayed in the revised TAM model were found with a strong positive relationship with the dependent variable, intention to use e-health. Therefore, the implementers should give a priority in enhancing technical infrastructures of the organizations, staffs IT skill, and their attitude towards e-health by giving continuous support.

Abstract Acceptance and intention to use mobile applications in a library context is attracting a great deal of interest in education field. A sparse amount of research was conducted in mobile library applications (MLA) previously, investigating the influential factors of intention to use MLA. Research here aims to provide empirical support on acceptance of MLA, library access through mobile applications, with the model developed by taking a technology acceptance model (TAM) in MLA context by adding perceived mobility value, system accessibility and satisfaction for investigating the influence on behavioural intention to use MLA. A self-administrated cross-sectional survey was conducted to collect data from 321 users of MLA in the COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT) in Islamabad, while a structural equation model (SEM) using analysis of moment structure (AMOS) software was used for examining quantitative data. Results revealed that satisfaction and perceived ease of use are direct significant predictors of intention to use MLA, whereas system accessibility was influenced by the perceived ease of use. However, the perceived mobility value shows a weak effect on intention to use MLA in terms of perceived usefulness. Results serve as a guide for effective decision-making in development and resource allocation to ensure the success of the library’s vision and mission.

Ridesplitting is a new form of for-hire service that riders with similar origins and destinations are matched to the same vehicle in real-time via Internet. However, the market share of ridesplitting only accounts for a small fraction of total travel. Understanding cognitive factors affecting ridesplitting preference would be helpful in designing its market measures, regulations, and incentives to achieve high-level customer attractions. This paper identifies the cognitive determinants affecting ridesplitting preference and their inner relationships via the structural equation model. The data from an online survey conducted in Shanghai were implemented for model calibration. The modal fitness results are reasonable, and the path coefficients are significant, exhibiting that the proposed hypothesis cannot be rejected. Specifically, attitude towards incentives and management issues, perceived benefit, and perceived usefulness appear to be strong active driving forces that encourage the desire to adopt ridesplitting.
