The purpose of the study is to explore the relationship between teaching evaluation and lecturers’ performances. To achieve this purpose, the study analysed the correlations between teaching evaluation scores by student and evaluation on lecturers’ performances by dean, and between teaching evaluation scores by student and students’ final examination results. Census study was applied to collect all data, which involved 124 lecturers and eight deans. The study used data from the online system, which involved evaluation made for 246 courses by all active students in semester June – November 2018. Descriptive and inferential statistics were applied in this study and analysed using SPSS version 21.0. The result showed that there is no significant relationship between teaching evaluation scores by student and evaluation on lecturers’ performances by dean. This study also found that there is no significant relationship between teaching evaluation scores by student and students’ final examination results. Based on the findings, the study inferred there is bias in the evaluation instruments and there are external factors contributed to the outcome of insignificant correlations in both analyses, thus the effect or impact of the evaluation system to academic division is not significant

This purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between volunteers’ satisfaction and intention to continue volunteering as a volunteer in the future. There were 133 volunteers from MY10K Night run involved in this community-running event. Volunteer’ satisfaction and intention to continue volunteering questionnaires were used in this study. The data was analysed using descriptive and inferential statistics to identify the percentage, mean, standard deviation and pearson correlation. The study findings showed that there was a significant relationship between the volunteers’ satisfaction and the intention to continue volunteering (r=0.37, p<0.01). The nature of work (m=4.10) was the highest factor of volunteers’ satisfaction to remain as volunteers in future events and followed by appreciation (m=4.01). Whereas supervision and communication (m=3.96) were found to be least volunteers’ satisfaction to remain as volunteers. Identifying these factors of volunteering, as well as the relations between them, can be beneficial for the management of volunteers to retain the experienced volunteers and to ensure the continuation of the event in the future.

At one of Ontario’s largest universities, the University of Ottawa, course evaluations involve about 6,000 course sections and over 43,000 students every year. This paper-based format requires over 1,000,000 sheets of paper, 20,000 envelopes, and the support of dozens of administrative staff members. To examine the impact of a shift to an online system for the evaluation of courses, the following study sought to compare participation rates and evaluation scores of an online and paper-based course evaluation system. Results from a pilot group of 10,417 students registered in 318 courses suggest an average decrease in participation rate of 12–15% when using an online system. No significant differences in evaluation scores were observed. Instructors and students alike shared positive reviews about the online system; however, they suggested that an in-class period be maintained for the electronic completion of course evaluations.

Batik is not only an element of culture and art, but it has creativity. Batik also has the message how to manage our emotions, because in making batik takes perseverance, optimism, cognitive function as well as patience. The aim of this research was to examine the relationship between creativity and emotional resiliency in students grade 4-6 elementary school. Subjects were students of MI Giriloyo 2 Yogyakarta grade 4 to grade 6, which amounted to 62 students. Data retrieval is done by spreading the figural creativity tests to measure creativity variables and emotional resilience questionnaire to measure the variables of emotional resilience. Subjects showed a fairly good creativity with emotional resilience pretty good anyway. Bivariate product moment correlation with SPSS 19.0 for windows between creativity with emotional resilience correlation values obtained at 0.184 and p = 0.153. Research shows that the zero hypothesis (H0) which states "There is no significant relationship between creativity and emotional resiliency in students MI Giriloyo 2 Yogyakarta" accepted while the alternative hypothesis (Ha) which states "There is a significant relationship between creativity and emotional resilience MI students Giriloyo 2 Yogyakarta” had rejected. Thus, the results showed no relationship between creativity and resilience significant emotions in students with extracurricular student-MI batik Giriloyo 2 Yogyakarta with a very low correlation coefficient. Other variables were not examined by the authors, such as internal and external factors correlated with the subjects supposedly more emotional resilience.

Background: Assessing the academic performance of students is imperative for nursing educators. While it is commonly accepted that performance in quizzes is linked with final examination performance, little published empirical data is available among nursing student samples.Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between performance in regular short lecture quizzes and long quiz on the final examination performance of nursing students in a nursing course. Likewise, this study ascertained whether there is a significant relationship between perceived performance and actual performance in the final examination of the course. Methods: A descriptive-correlational study design was used. All 138 second-year nursing students enrolled in the Community Health Nursing course were included in this study. Grades in short quizzes, long test, and final examination were analyzed, and a one item global scale was utilized to determine students’ perceived performance in the final examination. Pearson’s r was employed to determine the relationship between variables. Results: Results revealed that performance in regular short lecture quizzes (p=0.000) and long quiz (p=0.000) were significantly correlated with final examination performance. Moreover, there was a significant relationship between perceived performance and actual performance in the final examination (p=0.000).Conclusion: This study suggests that early performance in the lecture course can significantly influence students’ performance in the final assessment of the course. Nurse educators are encouraged to be proactive in identifying students who are at risk of performing poorly early in the course so that prompt remediation and guidance may be provided to students who are not performing well.

Background: Cirebon Regency is one of the priority areas that becomes the locus in efforts to accelerate the reduction of stunting in 2018.Objective: This study aims to analyze the relationship between feeding parenting pattern with nutrient intake of under two-years infants and the relationship between nutritional behavior and clean and healthy lifestyle behavior (CHLB) with nutritional status of under two-years infants in Cirebon Regency. Methods: This study used a cross-sectional study design using secondary data from previous studies conducted at the same two locations in Cirebon Regency. The data processing was carried out in November to December 2019. The subjects involved were 70 mothers who had infants aged 0-24 months. Analysis of the relationship between variables using the Rank Spearman test. Results: The results of the correlation test showed that there was no significant relationship (p> 0.05) between feeding parenting pattern with nutritional intake. In addition, maternal nutritional behavior also did not have a significant relationship (p> 0.05) with nutritional status. This study found that there was a significant relationship between clean and healthy living behavior on the indicators of a smoke-free home environment with the nutritional status using HAZ index. Conclusion: Imbalance between knowledge and socio-economic factors of income can lead to inequality in the application of feeding parenting pattern, nutritional behavior, and CHLB to the nutritional status of under two years.
