Cloud computing is a new paradigm for delivery of applications, platforms, or computing resources (processing power/bandwidth/storage) to customers in a “pay-as-you-go-model”. It can be categorized Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (PaaS). Especially, SaaS is a potential segment and have many advantages such as investment reduction, performance improvement, time saving, easier collaboration, global accessibility, and so on. However, in spite of these importance and advantages, there are few researches about identification for the quality and making quality attributes for SaaS in cloud computing. In this paper, we propose identification of quality attributes for QoS of SaaS in cloud computing. In order to construct their quality’s attributes fitting on SaaS characteristics, we extract their attributes from ISO/IEC 9126 and design the QoS model for SaaS.

Cloud computing refers to a model for accessing computing resource like networks, servers, storage, applications, and services remotely. Cloud computing offers these resources as a service, namely infrastructure-as-a-service, platform-as-a-service, and software-as-a-service. To use these services, two roles involved: the cloud provider offers the service and the cloud customer consumes the service. These resources are efficiently shared and utilized by customers and it is called workload. The requirement of workload depends on customer demands that vary from higher to lower. Based on the customer demand, cloud provider makes the resource available efficiently. In the context of cloud, the workload is based on web-based service or jobs processed in batch mode. The arrival process of jobs in the cloud is not often deterministic. The irregular increase or decrease in workload has a vital impact on resource provision. Monitoring the resources helps in measuring the performance of the cloud so that the resource can be provisioned to customers efficiently.

Chmura obliczeniowa (Cloud Computing) stanowi obecnie ważny trend na rynku IT. Usługi Cloud Computing polegają na dostarczeniu i udostępnianiu wydajnych i skalowalnych zasobów IT (oprogramowanie jako usługa, ang. Software as a Service – SaaS, platforma jako usługa, ang. Platform as a Service – PaaS, infrastruktura jako usługa, ang. Infrastructure as a Service – IaaS), a usługodawca, którym jest zwykle podmiot zewnętrzny(ewentualnie wewnętrzny dział IT), oferuje usługi informatyczne odbiorcom za pośrednictwem sieci. Zarządzanie procesami biznesowymi również znajduje implementację oraz praktyczne zastosowanie w przedmiotowym modelu. Dostępność i popularność takiego podejścia wynika z dojrzałości, dostępności i popularności samego modelu chmury obliczeniowej, podejścia procesowego do zarządzania oraz systemów zarządzania procesami biznesowymi. Celem artykułu jest zaprezentowanie zastosowania technologii Cloud Computing w kontekście zarządzania procesami biznesowymi we współczesnych przedsiębiorstwach.

Balai Pelatihan Tenaga Koperasi dan Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah (BALATKOP) adalah salah satu Unit Pelaksana Teknis Daerah (UPTD) yang berperan sebagai klinik bisnis dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan Koperasi dan UMKM. Sebagai contoh BALATKOP yang berada di bawah naungan Dinas Koperasi dan UMKM. Pihak BALATKOP menyatakan tidak adanya suatu sistem teknologi informasi komunikasi yang mendukung pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan marketing online seperti website katalog produk. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang ada saat ini di BALATKOP, maka dibutuhkan sebuah sistem Cloud Computing E-katalog sebagai layanan pendukungnya. Pembangunan sistem Cloud Computing E-katalog dimulai dengan melakukan analisis sistem yang berjalan di BALATKOP, dilanjutkan dengan melakukan analisis pada arsitektur sistem Cloud Computing E-katalog yang akan dibangun dengan menggunakan tiga model layanan yaitu Software as a Service (Saas), Platform as a Service (PaaS) dan Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). kemudian melakukan analisis pada alur perancangan teknologi Cloud Computing dan melakukan perancangan basis data (database) hingga perancangan antarmuka. Setelah tahapan anlisis dan desain selesai dilakukan maka tahapan selanjutnya adalah implementasi alur perancangan dari Cloud Computing sebagai sumber daya hardware, network dan storage pada Virtual Private Server (VPS). Kata kunci : Cloud Computing, Software as a Service (Saas), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Virtual Private Server (VPS).

Tahun 2011 merupakan erabaru teknologi komputasi awan (Cloud Computing). Teknologi komputasi awan adalah solusi teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang memberikan kosempatan kepada konsumen untuk dapat menyewa layanan teknologi dari penyedia (provider). Penyedia memberikan jasa pengelolaan infrastruktur , platform, dan aplikasi jasa teknologi informasi sehingga memudahkan konsumen tanpa harus berinvestasi. Hanya saja, ketika media baik media massa cetak dan media online menyebarluaskan informasi tentang teknologi komputasi awan, yang terjadi adalah penggunaan istilah-istilah teknologi yang berada pada level pakar (expert sphere) yang sulit dimengerti oleh masyarakat luas. Analisis yang digunakan adalah tiga kategori teknologi komputasi awan seperti Platform as a Service (Paas), Infrastructure as a Service (Iaas), dan Software as a Service (Saas); dua lapisan model Arnold Pacey seperti lapisan pakar (expert sphere) dan pengguna (user sphere) dalam pemanfaatan teknologi;dan dua pendekatan dari Arnold Pacey tentang pendekatan obyek (object approach) dan manusia (human approach). Dengan metode analisis isi diperoleh bahwa pemberitaan tentang teknologi komputasi awan lebih banyak pada kategori Paas, expert sphere, dan object approach.  Kemudian penelitian ini memperlihatkan adanya kecenderungan penggunaan bahasa dan tulisan wartawan yang tidak seimbang. Dengan menggunakan analisis framing, penelitian ini memperlihatkan adanya bingkai tertentu yang dilakukan oleh wartawan dalam menulis artikel dan berita terkait dengan teknologi komputasi awan. Kata kunci : Teknologi Komputasi Awan, Level Pakar dan Pengguna, Pendekatan Obyek dan Manusia, Bingkai Media
