This document explains a type of Smart Tunnel Inspection Robot (STIR) for the detection of pipe culverts, including its system composition, the working principle, modules of hardware circuit, program flows and the interface of PC software. With devices of wireless video transmission, wireless data communication and the embedded technology of measurement and control, the STIR can replace human to detect and monitor various types of small diameter pipe culverts.

CPU uses STM32F103RBT6 as core human thermal infrared sensors, ultrasonic sensors and temperature sensors as detection systems, motion control module as the power system, real-time monitoring and control system. A wireless data communication system and wireless audio and video transmission system as robot "ears" and "eyes", so that a robot is capable of all-round, three-dimensional "feel" the environment, man-to make accurate judgments and control.

Based on the problem of complex wiring, low anti-interference capacity and high cost in wired measurement and control system, we developed and designed a cable parameters acquisition and control system based on ZigBee technology. The system was composed of upper PC, a coordinator node and five data collection nodes, presents the hardware circuit and software design method of the coordinator node based on CC2530, and developed the PC management software based on LabVIEW. By the measurement that five data collection nodes are distributed in the indoor, the actual results show that the system is stable, and high reliability.

With the development of modern measurement and control technology,the grating sensor is widely used in the measurement of displacement and angle in precise meterage domain. Limited by the grating scratching technology,the way to improve the measurement precision of grating sensor is using electronic technique to subdivision the grating signal. This paper mainly research on raster displacement detection system based on FPGA. As the usual raster sensor data collection system has many problem,A new raster sensor data collection system was found based on FPGA &USB. In this system,FPGA was used as main controller , and the USB was used for data transmission. A whole system hardware circuit design was given in this paper, including the FPGA processing of the raster sensor signal, and the USB circuit design

In this report, application of newly developed ultra-small servo actuators to a micro SCARA robot is presented. An ultra-small servo actuator consists of a miniature brushless DC motor, a reduction gear, and an optical encoder for monitoring the rotation of the motor. Two prototypes of different sizes were developed: one is 3mm in diameter and 10mm in length, and the other is 5mm in diameter and 18mm in length. Including the vertical positioning of the hand the robot has three degrees of freedom. First, the structure of the ultra-small servo actuator is shown and then the output characteristics of the 3mmdiameter and the 5mm diameter servo actuators are described, respectively. Next, the structure and control system of the micro SCARA robot, which has a 24.5mmlong arm, are described. Finally, flexible micro actuators, combined in parallel and acting a miniature handling system, are reported. They enable the gentle handling of small, fragile objects. The prototype of this micro SCARA robot enables the assembly of miniature objects in a small space. In the future, we expect this robot to find application as an inspection robot in narrow spaces, such as in small-diameter pipelines.

The application of online detection technology for grain moisture is one of the most effective ways to improve the quality of grain drying. The online detection system for grain moisture consists of three parts: online remote module of ingoing grain moisture (charging), online remote module of outgoing grain moisture (discharging), and the host controller. It adopts JZ873 wireless transparent transmission module to realize the wireless data communication among various modules, and to formulate the communication drive. In practice, this system has characteristics such as flexible use, reliable data transmission, and it is more suitable for those testing and control conditions where it is inconvenient to wiring.

Based on the purpose of achieving real-time measurement of more type parameters and real-time data share in measurement and control system, Lab VIEW is taken as supervisory and control software, combining OPC interface to implement the objective. It could carry out fast and reliable data communication between ECU and PC, as well as precise delivery and efficient manage of calibration parameters, so it could achieve off-line or online calibration for engine.

An intelligent temperature and humidity measurement and control system applied to electrical equipments is designed in this paper. Design of this system covers signal processing, temperature and humidity acquisition, display and keying circuit, alarm circuit, and output control; these five sub-modules have realized its control function together. Hardware circuit design and system software application of various modules are illustrated in detail. According to practical test, software and hardware of this controller system match each other reasonably and the measurement accuracy is high. Besides, its design, development and maintenance are quite convenient, and the human-computer interface can be operated easily.
