All domestic and foreign literatures on obstacle factors of urbanization process are statistically analyzed by using Meta-analysis method, and 14 main obstacle factors are identified and extracted from previous research results. After that, the paper analyzes the relative structure among the 14 factors by using interpretive structural model. The results show that urban-rural IT industry gap, IT-using gap, employment opportunity gap, informatinization policies difference, consumption difference, social culture difference, information resource gap, information consciousness difference and thinking manner difference are superficial and direct obstacle factors; IT-owning gap, educational development gap and life level difference are intermediate and indirect obstacle factors; information infrastructure difference and income gap are essential and basic obstacle factors. This analysis is helpful to open out drag system of urbanization process under the condition of urban-rural “digital divide”.

All domestic and foreign literatures on influence factors of international trade of new energy materials are statistically analyzed by using Meta-analysis method, and fourteen main influence factors are identified and extracted from previous research results. After that, the paper analyzes the relative structure among the fourteen factors by using interpretive structural model. The results show that export subsidy for new energy materials, import subsidy for new energy materials, insure subsidy, export drawback, export exemption, decreasing tariff for import, discount loan, import & export surety and revenue growth are superficial and direct influence factors; support fund growth, export tariff growth and import tariff growth are intermediate and indirect influence factors; interest of payment for import goods and interest of payment for export goods are essential and basic influence factors. This analysis is helpful to open out effect system and mechanism for international trade of new energy materials.

Project managers’ leadership has a direct and an indirect effect on project success. Extant literature has established that transformational leadership style positively affects project success in a major way. The main aim of this research is to understand the variables that positively affects transformational leadership development and their interrelationships in megaprojects. The Total Interpretive Structural Model (TISM) methodology is adopted to propose a framework, and Impact Matrix Cross-Reference Multiplication Applied to a Classification (MICMAC) approach is used to examine the strategic nature of the enablers. The research shows that there exists a group of enablers having a high driving power and low dependence, requiring maximum attention and of strategic importance, while another group consists of those variables that have high dependence and are resultant actions. Furthermore, the model explains the relationships among each pair of variables. Organisations dealing in megaprojects would be the major beneficiaries of this study. Policy makers in these organisations would explicitly understand the variables and their interrelationships that needs attention for transformational leadership development. This would help them to prioritize their efforts and implement suitable strategies to focus on the most important variables for developing transformational leaders ultimately leading to project success.

The Lut desert is one of the largest and most attractive deserts in Iran. The value of desert tourism remains unclear for Iran’s economy and has only recently been taken into consideration by the authorities, although its true national and international value remains unclear. This study was aimed at investigating the factors that influence tourism development in the Lut desert. Data collected through the purposive sampling method was analyzed using Interpretive Structural Modeling and the MICMAC Analysis. According to the results, cost-effective travel expenses, security, and safety provided in the desert, together with appropriate media advertising and illustration of the Lut desert (branding) are the leading factors that influence tourism in the Lut desert in Iran. This paper highlighted the importance of desert tourism, especially in this region.
