The purpose of this research was to explore the Brake Assist System of automobile overhaul competence indicators. Literature review, interviews, professional meeting, Delphi method were yielded to analyze the competence items in the automobile overhaul. Thus, to reveal the curriculum planning, instruction strategy, and teaching material for the automobile overhaul professional technology manpower cultivating, this research was conducted deep expert interview, and three times Delphi questionnaire investigation. The opinions of experts were unanimity for the competence indicators. Finally, results of this study revealed three category competence indicators for the Brake Assist System of automobile overhaul including (1) the 11 professional ethics competence indicators such as value social ethics, working ethics, time, quality, attitude, working zeal and professional dedication, really get the work done, train oneself constantly, high loyalty, plasticity, and law-abiding, and self-managerial competence. (2) the 9 competence indicators of Brake relevant knowledge of the system and analytical skills such as understanding the systematic function of ABS, knowing relevant part names of ABS, function, erection site, and understanding the principle of moving of automobile ABS, and understanding the systematic function of EBD, knowing relevant part names of EBD, function, erection site, and understanding the principle of moving of automobile EBD, and understanding the systematic function of BAS, knowing relevant part names of BAS, function, erection site, and understanding the principle of moving of automobile BAS. And (3) the 6 competence indicators of brake assist system overhaul such as skilful with ABS examine and repair; skilful with ABS relevant part procedure of renewal , and skilful with EBD examine and repair; skilful with EBD relevant part procedure of renewal ,and skilful with BAS examine and repair; skilful with BAS relevant part procedure of renewal. These results are not only offered to help curriculum planning and material development for the basis of the automobile overhaul, but help vocational industrial school and automobile industry cultivating the talent manpower.

Case overview Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL), a joint venture between Maruti Udyog Limited, India and Suzuki Motors, Japan, is considering repositioning its WagonR brand amidst issues of overall decline in sales in the automobile industry. With a market share of more than 53%, MSIL is the market leader in passenger vehicle segment in India, yet it is facing difficulties in driving up sales. The company’s portfolio comprises entry-hatch, mid-hatch, premium-hatch, sedan, SUV/MUV, crossover and van. The case dilemma involves the decision that MSIL’s management should take for the repositioning of WagonR, a compact hatchback, at a time when the automobile industry is showing no signs of recovery. Is it opportune to reposition WagonR, given the current situation of the passenger car market in India? If yes, what can MSIL learn from its past positioning efforts and how can it use insights about consumers’ current perceptions of WagonR’s brand image to arrive at a repositioning decision? Leaning objectives Using the case will help address the following objectives: to expose students to the challenges of repositioning an established brand; appreciate the need for and importance of repositioning established brands; evaluate existing positioning and market conditions for making a sound decision; and develop analytical skills that will prepare them to make decisions in real business scenarios. This paper outlines the measures put in place by the headteacher of a newly established school in order to ensure that all in the school — new pupils, teachers and other staff — began to share a sense of community. The development of the schools's hidden curriculum was at the forefront of the school's whole curriculum planning. To support this, newly appointed teachers were expected to have a grounding in and commitment to the role of personal and social education in the primary school, and one member of staff received a responsibility allowance (and accompanying curriculum budget) for the promotion of Personal and Social Education (PSE) throughout the school. The paper details the work done through circle time and the impact of this strategy on the children's behaviour.

The Joint Declaration on the Doctrine of Justification (JDDJ) developed out of understanding of the doctrine of justification and how that doctrine relates to social ethics. The article briefly describes how the doctrine of justification and sanctification developed in various traditions and how it came to be seen in the liberal theological context of the late 19th century before a corrective in the middle of the 20th century. I examine the way in which the doctrine has been criticised by oppressed persons and how we might respond to those criticisms. Finally, a way forward is suggested that might help us to apply the significant gains of the JDDJ to the whole sphere of social ethics for us here in South Africa.Intradisciplinary and/or interdisciplinary implications: This paper seeks to integrate the work done by the Joint Declaration on the Doctrine of Justification and Systematic Theology from an historical perspective via a literature survey so as to evaluate the JDDJ’s impact on social ethics.

For fuel savings as well as energy and resource requirement, high strength low alloy steels (HSLA) are of particular interest to automobile industry because of the potential weight reduction which can be achieved by using thinner section of these steels to carry the same load and thus to improve the fuel mileage. Dual phase treatment has been utilized to obtain superior strength and ductility combinations compared to the HSLA of identical composition. Recently, cooling rate following heat treatment was found to be important to the tensile properties of the dual phase steels. In this paper, we report the results of the investigation of cooling rate on the microstructures and mechanical properties of several vanadium HSLA steels.The steels with composition (in weight percent) listed below were supplied by China Steel Corporation: 1. low V steel (0.11C, 0.65Si, 1.63Mn, 0.015P, 0.008S, 0.084Aℓ, 0.004V), 2. 0.059V steel (0.13C, 0.62S1, 1.59Mn, 0.012P, 0.008S, 0.065Aℓ, 0.059V), 3. 0.10V steel (0.11C, 0.58Si, 1.58Mn, 0.017P, 0.008S, 0.068Aℓ, 0.10V).

Abstract. Research on the neural mechanisms underlying Gilles de la Tourette syndrome (GTS) has mostly concentrated on abnormalities in basal ganglia circuits. Recent alternative accounts, however, focused more on social and affective aspects. Individuals with GTS show peculiarities in their social and affective domain, including echophenomena, coprolalia, and nonobscene socially inappropriate behavior. This article reviews the experimental and theoretical work done on the social symptoms of GTS. We discuss the role of different social cognitive and affective functions and associated brain networks, namely, the social-decision-making system, theory-of-mind functions, and the so-called “mirror-neuron” system. Although GTS affects social interactions in many ways, and although the syndrome includes aberrant social behavior, the underlying cognitive, affective, and neural processes remain to be investigated.

The removal of slag from melt surface of hot metal and steel ladles is a necessary condition to provide a deep desulphurization and dephosphorization of hot metal and steel in the process of their processing. A review of methods of slag skimming presented, mainly based on slag mechanical shoveling and its removal out of ladles by vacuum sucking. It was shown, that manipulators design for the slag skimming working instrument moving depends on the production scale, mass of the processed heats, amount and properties of the slag to be removed, production process intensity and ecological requirements. Peculiarities of designs and technical parameters of machines for slag skimming presented, designed by Irkutsk plant of heavy machinery, Scientific and Production Enterprise n.a. M.I. Platov, VNIIMETMASH, Kuznetsk and Novolipetsk steel plants. Technological methods of control of slag composition and physical properties considered, first of all of viscosity and fluidity, which have significant effect on selection of a method of slag skimming. Advantages and drawbacks of actions, aimed at more complete slag removal from metal surface by a scraper noted including bath blowing off by an inert gas, liquid slag tapping into am intermediate settling tank following its removal into a slag bowl. In case of satisfactory fluidity it is possible to slag removal by vacuum sucking, which at the same time promoted the melt degassing. Work done in this area abroad noted. Methods of vacuum slag removal developed in the USA and Japan described.
