In this work, the energy levels electromagnetic transition B(E2) and B(M1), branching ratios, mixing ratios and electric quadrupole moment of even-even 120-126Xe isotopes have been investigated using Interacting Boson Model (IBM-1). The results were compared with some previous experimental and theoretical values, it was seen that the obtained theoretical results are in agreement with the experimental data.

A description of the even–even Pt isotopes for A = 190 to 196 in the framework of the Interacting Boson Model (IBM-1) is carried out. Energy levels, B(E2) and B(M1) values, branching ratios, E2/M1 mixing ratios and QJ values of the above nuclei have been calculated. The energy levels, B(E2) values and the electric quadrupole moment QJ results are reasonably consistent with the experimental data. The magnetic dipole is compared with the available experimental data. Furthermore, the calculated results are better than previous studies.

The energy states for the J , b , ɤ bands and electromagnetic transitions B (E2) values for even – even molybdenum 90 – 94 Mo nuclei are calculated in the present work of "the interacting boson model (IBM-1)" . The parameters of the equation of IBM-1 Hamiltonian are determined which yield the best excellent suit the experimental energy states . The positive parity of energy states are obtained by using IBS1. for program for even 90 – 94 Mo isotopes with bosons number 5 , 4 and 5 respectively. The" reduced transition probability B(E2)" of these neuclei are calculated and compared with the experimental data . The ratio of the excitation energies of the 41+ to 21+ states ( R4/2) are also calculated . The calculated and experimental (R4/2) values showed that the 90 – 94 Mo nuclei have the vibrational dynamical symmetry U(5). Good agreement was found from comparison between the calculated energy states and electric quadruple probabilities B(E2) transition of the 90–94Mo isotopes with the experimental data .

Abstract We have investigated the low-lying energy spectrum and electromagnetic transition strengths in even-even $^{76}$Se using the proton-neutron interacting boson model (IBM-2). The theoretical calculation for the energy levels and $E2$ and $M1$ transition strengths is in good agreement with the experimental data. Especially, the excitation energy and $E2$ transition of $0^+_2$ state, which is intimately associated with shape coexistence, can be well reproduced. The analysis on low-lying states and some key structure indicators indicates that there is a coexistence between spherical shape and $\gamma$-soft shape in $^{76}$Se.

The proton-neutron interacting boson model (IBM-2) has been used to make a schematic study of the Ruthenium ( ) isotopes of mass region around with and . For each isotope of the values of the IBM-2 Hamiltonian parameters, which yield an acceptable results for excitation energies in comparison with those of experimental data, have been determined. Fixed values of the effective charges ( ) and of the proton and neutron g factors ( and ) have been chosen for all isotopes under study. The calculated electric quadrupole moments of state, transitions, the magnetic dipole moments transitions and mixing ratios are in reasonable agreement with the experimental data.

Mixed-symmetry states of 92Zr and 94Mo isotopes are investigated with the use of the collective models, Interacting Boson Model-2 (IBM-2) and Quasiparticle Phonon Model (QPM). The energy spectra and electromagnetic transition rates for these isotopes are calculated. The results of IBM-2 and QPM are compared with available experimental data. We have obtained a satisfactory agreement, and IBM-2 gives a better description. In these isotopes, we observe a few states having a mixed symmetry such as 2+2, 2+3, 3+1, and 1+s. It is found that these isotopes have a vibrational shape corresponding to the U(5) symmetry.

AbstractThe even-even Selenium isotopes in the A∼80 mass region and the general features of its structure have been investigated within the framework of the interacting boson model-2. The neutron proton version of the model has been applied to the Se (A=74 to 80) isotopes with emphasis on the description of the 01+, 21+, 02+, 22+ and 41+ states. The energy levels, B(E2)and B(M1)electromagnetic transition probabilities were calculated. The results of these calculations were compared with previous experimental results and were shown to be in good agreement.

Band structure and electromagnetic transition properties of the low-lying states in the [Formula: see text]Ne nucleus were studied within the framework of interacting boson model (IBM) 3. The isospin excitation states, low-lying symmetry states, the main components of the eigen-state, isoscalar and isovector parts in the [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] transitions for low-lying states have been investigated. According to this study, the calculated results are in agreement with experimental data, and the nucleus [Formula: see text]Ne is in transition from [Formula: see text] to [Formula: see text].

In this paper, even-even 104−106Ru isotopes have been studied the ground state bands using Matlab computer code (IBM-1.Mat). We apply the interacting boson model-1 (IBM-1) formula for O(6) symmetry in Ru isotopes with neutron N = 60, 62. The theoretical energy levels up to spin-parity 12+ have been obtained for 104−106Ru isotopes. The yrast states, gamma band, beta band, and B(E2) values are calculated for these nuclei. The published experimental and calculated R4/2 values indicate that the even-even 104−106Ru isotopes have O(6) dynamic symmetry. The present results have been compared to the published experimental data and are found good harmony with each other. The outcome of our investigation of the potential energy surfaces (PES) of both isotopes belonging to O(6) character.

Useful information about the shape transitions of even–even isotones 144 Ba , 146 Ce , 148 Nd , 150 Sm , 152 Gd , 154 Dy with 88 neutrons and 218-226 Ra isotopes with 88 protons are obtained from the ratios of [Formula: see text] as a function of neutron number N or proton number Z and the relations [Formula: see text] and r((I+2)/I) as a function of the angular momentum I. Interacting Boson Model (IBM-1), Bohr–Mottelson Model (BM) and Interacting Vector Boson Model (IVBM) have been employed to study the energy levels for the ground and octupole bands of the above nuclei. The best input parameters for the above approaches which lead to the best fit to experimental data are determined. The ΔI = 1 staggering (odd–even staggering) in octupole bands of the studied nuclei is found to exhibit a "beat" behavior as a function of angular momentum I. Comparisons of the displacement energies δE(I) and the staggering factor ΔE1, γ(I) are presented between the Ba–Dy region with 88 neutrons and Ra isotopes with 88 protons.

The Nuclear structure of 110-116Cd isotopes was studied theoretically in the framework of the interacting boson model of IBM-l and IBM-2. The properties of the lowest mixed symmetry states such as the 1+, 2+ and 3+ levels produced by the IBM-2 model in the vibrational-limit U(5) of Cd - isotopes are studied in details. This analysis shows that the character of mixed symmetry of 2+ is shared between and states in 110-114Cd – isotopes, the large shar goes to s, while in isotope, the state is declared as a mixed symmetry state without sharing. This identification is confirmed by the percentage of F-spin contribution. The electromagnetic properties of E2 and Ml operators were investigated and the results were analyzed. Various values of eB in the IBM-l and fixed e?= 0.104 eb and e?=0.093 e.b in the IBM-2 are used to generate the B(E2) and Q(2+). Fixed values of g? =0.31?N and g? =-0.31?N were adopted to generate the B(Ml) and ?(E2/ Ml) mixing ratios. The small values of ?(E2/Ml) which obtained for transition from MS- states to those of full symmetry support the conclusion that there may be a strong Ml transition between these states.
