Today's unstable labor market increasingly requires flexibility and adaptability to cope with the threat of unemployment. It can cause distress in people and have a more significant negative impact on fragile workers, such as migrants. This study aimed to test whether a Career Counseling intervention designed for Migrants (CCfM) can develop Career Adaptability and, therefore, both Work Self-efficacy (WSe) and Job Search Self-efficacy (JSSe) perceptions. It was conducted in Italy and involved a sample of 233 migrants, who were asked to respond to a questionnaire available in three languages (Italian, French, and English). Data analysis showed that an improvement was demonstrated in all the variables considered, namely career adaptability (including concern, control, confidence, and curiosity), WSe, and JSSe, even though the CCfM was not directly designed to increase the last one. In addition, the development of career adaptability explained the increase in migrants' WSe and JSSe, and the initial level of career adaptability was found to explain the increase in WSe due to the initial positive level of curiosity.

Career adaptability is an important resource for dealing with career transitions such as the transition from university to work. Previous research emphasized the importance of focusing on career adapt-abilities instead only on general career adaptability. The aim of this research was to investigate whether career adaptability can be conceptualized as a bifactor model and whether general and specific dimensions of career adaptability have a relationship with job-search self-efficacy of graduates. In an online cross-sectional study, 667 graduates completed the Career Adapt-Abilities Scale and Job Search Skill and Confidence Scale. The CFA analysis showed that the bifactor model of career adaptability had a good fit where general factor explained most of the items’ variance. The SEM analysis revealed that general career adaptability and the specific factor of confidence positively correlated with job-search and interview performance self-efficacy. Control only correlated with interview performance self-efficacy. Neither concern nor curiosity showed a significant relationship with job-search and interview performance self-efficacy.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of DER, ROA, Firm Size, EPS, Cash Position, and Total Asset Turnover using the t-test and F test. This study uses quantitative descriptive. The number of manufacturing companies used as a population is 169 companies selected based on purposive sampling obtained a sample of 54 companies. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of data analysis partially show that only DER has a significant negative impact on DPR. Simultaneously, six independent variables have a substantial effect on the DPR. The coefficient of determination test results shows the Adjusted R Square number of 0.108, which means 10.8% of the variation from the DPR of manufacturing companies, which can be explained by the independent variables used. The remaining 89.2% is caused by other factors such as Growth Opportunity, Ownership, Current Ratio, and others.

Rainfall has enormous impact on weather and climate. An investigation on impact of rainfall on coconut productivity was taken place in Kozhikode and Malappuram districts of Kerala, to identify the variation in coconut production on an account of secondary data based on rainfall collected for a time period from 1991 to 2015 (25 years). Panel data analysis revealed that rainfall during 3rd (July-September) and 4th (October-December) quarters was found to have significant negative impact on coconut production. Amount of rainfall observed during 1st (Januvary-March) and 2nd(April-June) quarters has positive non-significant impact on coconut production. The growth trend of rainfall showed an increasing trend in Kozhikode district whereas Malappuram district had a decreasing trend over the years.

The number of participants in this study was 50 that data collected by using questionnaire with Incidental Sampling technique. This study used  a quantitative approach with simple linear regression data analysis. The results showed that there was a significant negative impact between job stress on job satisfaction among Gojek online drivers in Salatiga with -2,053 t-value (t-value -2,053> t-table 2,009) and 0,045 significance value (Sig.<0,05). These results indicated that the higher job stress among Gojek online drivers, the lower would be job satisfaction among them. BackgroundSelf-efficacy, a characteristic that is protective against depressive symptoms, may be undermined by stressful life events.AimsTo estimate the effects of stressful life events on self-efficacy, and to examine self-efficacy as a mediator of the effect of stressful life events on symptoms of depression.MethodUsing a sample of 2858 respondents from the longitudinal Americans' Changing Lives study, path analyses were used to evaluate interrelationships between self-efficacy, life events and symptoms of depression controlling for a variety of potentially confounding variables. Separate models were estimated for those with and without prior depression.ResultsFor those with prior depression, dependent life events had a significant, negative impact on self-efficacy. For those without prior depression, life events had no effect on self-efficacy.ConclusionsFor those with prior depression, self-efficacy mediates approximately 40% of the effect of dependent stressful life events on symptoms of depression.

After successfully compiling a good career plan related to their professional work in the future, students are expected to realize these career plans successfully. For this reason, students need to be equipped with other abilities in the form of self-efficacy or the ability to believe that the efforts made will produce results and goals that are expected to be achieved. Therefore, through appropriate career counseling intervention, the self-efficacy of students in achieving an ideal career is expected to increase. This study aims to examine effectiveness of career counseling based on H.B Gelatt's decision theory to improve student self-efficacy in achieving an ideal career. This study uses quasi-experimental methods. The research subjects were third years students in UPI Serang. The research instrument used was a student self-efficacy scale and a daily reflective journal. Data analysis techniques used statistical testing in the form of percentages, central symptom measures, and two-tier test (t-test). The results showed that students' self-efficacy related to achieving an ideal career in general was in the medium category with a percentage of 50.72%. The counseling intervention program is based on the career decision making steps of Gelatt. Paired t-test results of pre-test and post-test of the experimental group showed that t arithmetic = 10.221> (greater) than t table = 2.401, testing was carried out at a = 0.05 and df = 39, meaning H1 was accepted and H0 was rejected. Thus, there is a significant difference between self-efficacy related to achieving the ideal career of students who are members of the experimental group before and after receiving treatment. Decision-making skills in particular are very influential on improving the level dimension in student self-efficacy related to achieving an ideal career.   Keywords: career counseling, career counseling in college, career self-efficacy, Gelatt decision-making theory
