IntroductionWe evaluated the therapeutic role of retroperitoneal lymphadenectomy in patients with ovarian clear cell cancer (OCCC).Materials and MethodsWe retrospectively reviewed 170 OCCC patients diagnosed at two hospitals in China between April 2010 and August 2020. Clinical data were abstracted, and patients were followed until February 2021. Patients were divided into retroperitoneal lymphadenectomy and no lymphadenectomy groups. The Kaplan–Meier method was used to compare progression-free (PFS) and overall survival (OS) between the two groups. Statistical differences were determined by the log-rank test. The COX proportional hazards regression model was applied to identify predictors of tumor recurrence.ResultsThe median age was 52 years; 90 (52.9%) and 80 (47.1%) patients were diagnosed as early and advanced stage, respectively. Clinically positive and negative nodes was found in 40 (23.5%) and 119 (70.0%) patients, respectively. Of all the 170 patients, 124 (72.9%) patients underwent retroperitoneal lymphadenectomy, while 46 (27.1%) did not. The estimated 2-year PFS and 5-year OS rates were 71.4% and 65.9% in the lymphadenectomy group, and 72.0% and 73.7% in no lymphadenectomy group (p = 0.566 and 0.669, respectively). There was also no difference in survival between the two groups when subgroup analysis was performed stratified by early and advanced stage, or in patients with clinically negative nodes. Multivariate analysis showed that retroperitoneal lymphadenectomy were not an independent predictor of tumor recurrence.ConclusionRetroperitoneal lymphadenectomy provided no survival benefit in patients diagnosed with OCCC. A prospective clinical trial is needed to confirm the present results.

COVID-19 is a global pandemic caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome-coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Being associated with high mortality rates, this pandemic has forced several countries worldwide to impose complete lockdowns to limit the spread of infection. Despite the development of various vaccines, there is still an urgent need to design novel treatments backed with safety data for fighting  SARS-CoV-2 and its various mutants. Currently, scientists are putting their strenuous efforts into finding the best treatment option for COVID-19. In this regard, metal complexes being active antiviral agents and immunity enhancers have great potential against SARS-CoV-2. Herein, metal complexes' therapeutic role and significance against treating SARS-CoV-2 or any of its target proteins are discussed.

The aim of this article is to present the lullaby as a special song based on the intimate relationship between a mother and a daughter in the artistic works of a Senegalese writer, Ken Bugul. An analysis of the novel De l’autre côté du regard is preceded by a short introduction that explains the concept of a lullaby and presents its functions. The author of this article attempts to show how the lullaby can influence the relationship between the main character and her mother, showing the therapeutic role of the song.

Eye disease may be a cluster of inveterately progressive disorders of the nervus opticus. during this article, I gift the medicine, Pathophysiology, risk factors, ophthalmic examination, and therapeutic role of carbonaceous anhydrase inhibitors in treating eye disease. In European countries, the prevalence of eye disease is a pair of.93% among persons aged 40-80 years, reaching ten you tired of persons over ninety years old-time. There is a unit many differing types of eye disease, and that they are classically divided into classes of open-angle and closed-angle eye disease. Use of topical selective or nonselective beta-blockers is used in the treatment of eye diseases. Second-line drugs of alternative embody alpha – agonists and topical carbonaceous anhydrase inhibitors. Parasympathomimetics drugs, most ordinarily alkaloid, area unit thought-about third-line treatment. For patients, the United Nations agency doesn't reply to antiglaucoma remedy, optical laser incisional and trabeculoplasty surgery area unit more ways that may be accustomed lower the pressure. The inhibitors area unit used medication in the treatment of symptom coronary failure, brain disease, and hypoxia conjointly. A Corollary of Friedenwald's construct of hydrogen carbonate secretion within the formation of liquid body substance is that inhibition of the protein carbonaceous anhydrase could be expected to decrease the speed of secretion and lower IOP. The carbonaceous anhydrase matter, Diamox (acetazolamide) is employed in the treatment of eye disease. Preliminary trials of Diamox in rabbits created a definite lowering of pressure to once ten to one hundred mg. carbonaceous anhydrase inhibitors diminish ocular high blood pressure in glaucomatous patients by reducing the hydrogen carbonate formation.

Nowadays, one can hardly deny the importance of the system of public spaces. Its role as an integral element of urban infrastructure is actively studied, yet not fully comprehended. This section presents a collection of publications devoted to the history of the question using the example of public spaces in Krasnoyarsk. The therapeutic role of urban gardens is an example of the innovative approach of the Crimean scientists to the problem of the city infrastructure.Philosophy of separate objects is discussed in the articles of our regular authors. The fountain and the city well, of course, are both part of the public spaces and part of the engineering infrastructure that (for free!) ensures life of the city and citizens. The city is indeed rooted in wells.

Chronic liver injuries lead to liver fibrosis and then to end-stage liver cirrhosis. Liver transplantation is often needed as a course of treatment for patients in critical conditions, but limitations associated with transplantation prompted the continuous search for alternative therapeutic strategies. Cell therapy with stem cells has emerged as an attractive option in order to stimulate tissue regeneration and liver repair. Transplanted mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) could trans-differentiate into hepatocyte-like cells and, moreover, show anti-fibrotic and immunomodulatory effects. However, cell transplantation may lead to some uncontrolled side effects, risks associated with tumorigenesis, and cell rejection. MSCs’ secretome includes a large number of soluble factors and extracellular vesicles (EVs), through which they exert their therapeutic role. This could represent a cell-free strategy, which is safer and more effective than MSC transplantation. In this review, we focus on cell therapies based on MSCs and how the MSCs’ secretome impacts the mechanisms associated with liver diseases. Moreover, we discuss the important therapeutic role of EVs and how their properties could be further used in liver regeneration.
