The research aims to know the impact of the spread of the Corona pandemic on the financial ability of borrowers and thus to identify their willingness to pay their financial obligations towards banks، and an attempt to present through this research appropriate proposals to address bad debts in banks operating in the city of Erbil. A default in loans affected commercial banks in the first place، because they are quick to profit due to the high interest rates in them، compared to banks in other fields، including agricultural، industrial، specialized، and Islamic. In addition to the interest of major merchants in the region to activate their commercial operations through commercial banks. The research concluded by presenting a number of proposals، including: The commercial banks should verify the actual verification of the borrower's ability to repay his loan، especially the verification of the existence of additional surplus income. As well as working to focus on disclosure and transparency between banks by providing information on customers who are unable to pay and limiting the volume of their dealings with banks، in order to avoid and analyze the phenomenon of financial default that banks are exposed to، especially under the circumstances of the Corona pandemic.

PurposeAdvocates of structured stakeholder management (SM) processes have emphasized the use of the appropriate strategies as the most important process in SM. Yet, research effort in this regard in developing countries has been inadequate. The purpose of the study was to examine the SM strategies used on building projects procured by private corporate organisations in south-western Nigeria to enhance project performance.Design/methodology/approachThe study used a census survey to select 30 projects managers who indicated (from 106 who responded to a first stage questionnaire) that they have participated in structured SM in the study area between 2008 and 2017. A second-stage questionnaire was designed to elicit information from the respondents. Data analysis was done with the use of frequency, percentile and mean score (MS) and analysis of variance (ANOVA).FindingsStakeholders with high power and high interest were managed with the use of “collaborate/partner” strategy (MS = 3.86), stakeholders with high power and low interest were “kept satisfied” (MS = 4.09), stakeholders with low power and high interest were managed by using “keep them informed regularly” strategy (MS = 4.10) and stakeholders with low power and low interest were managed using “monitor and respond when necessary” strategy (M = 3.94). Further results show that static stakeholders with high power were managed by using the “monitor constantly” strategy (MS = 4.11), stakeholders with high power, high legitimacy and high urgency were managed by adopting the “keep satisfied” strategy (MS = 4.26), to manage non-supportive stakeholders, project managers adopted the “keep satisfied” strategy (MS = 4.18) and supportive stakeholders were managed by using “involved” strategy (MS = 4.02). More results showed that there is no significant difference in the opinion of project managers on SM strategies employed irrespective of procurement method.Practical implicationsThe study provided a guide to project managers on the appropriate SM strategies to use for future projects.Originality/valueThe study was an attempt to appraise the SM strategies in relation to the procurement methods and their relationship with project performance.

The objectives of this study are to: 1) Analyze and explain the effectiveness of internet-based online marketing strategies for SME products, 2) Analyze and explain the implementation of internet-based online marketing strategies for SME products, 3) Analyze and describe the supporting factors for the success of internet-based online marketing strategies for SME products, and 4) Analyze and describe the factors inhibiting the success of the internet-based online marketing strategy for SME products. The results showed that the effectiveness of the internet-based online marketing strategy of the SME products assisted by the Medan City Cooperative Office was still not optimal. The causative factor for this is due to the limited promotional budget owned by the Medan City UKM Cooperative Office in 2020 as well as the refocusing policy. The implementation of an internet-based online marketing strategy for SME products guided by the Medan City UKM Cooperative Office in 2020 in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic was implemented and complied with the principles of coordination, the idea of cooperation through BRI banks to open easy access to credit, cooperation with online businesses to build digital market place with Grabfood, providing a market place at Bukalapak. Barriers to training distance and high interest in participating in training were seen to be quite dominant.

Focuses on the concept of Space Traffic Management (STM), the matter which has been of high interest for many space actors in the last three decades. With the emergence of the NewSpace era, and flourishment of commercial and economic incentives for space activities, this topic has gained the attention of many space actors in the preceding decades, thus turning into a separate agenda item in the Legal Subcommittee of the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space. However, establishing and implementing such regulations is a challenging task, especially for new space actors. This article aims to assess the existing challenges of STM and provide solutions to overcome them. Firstly, this article provides the necessity of establishing such a regulation: it is evaluated and discussed while describing the requirements for achieving this goal. Secondly, the paper studies definitions provided by governmental and non-governmental entities regarding this concept and the measures taken towards its realising. Finally, the research discusses the challenges that space actors face regarding implementing this concept, both legal and practical. In conclusion, the authors highlight the importance of promoting endeavours and coordination among all current and potential space actors with due considerations for their relevancy.

The article is devoted to the activities of Borys Hrinchenko, the famous Ukrainian writer, poet, publicist and public figure, in periodicals in the territory occupied by the Nazi army during World War II. It is shown that the figure of Borys Hrinchenko and his multifaceted work found a response in hearts of the Ukrainian people in conditions of the hardships of World War II; editors of newspapers and periodicals often appealed to the works of famous writers, poets and publicists in all parts of Ukraine. It is found that the main content of the writer’s works was the struggle for the Ukrainian national cause and an independent state. The high interest in the figure of Borys Hrinchenko and his work during World War II is demonstrated by the number of publications in the occupation periodicals.

Abstract Background Human genomics research is growing rapidly. More effective methods are required for co-design and involving people, especially those sub-populations which are inherently high interest to medical research and thus at greater risk of being exploited. This case study documents how we worked with a large group of donor-conceived siblings who share the same sperm donor father, to explore how they might want to engage with and influence any future genomic research. Method A participatory action research process was used to explore the views of a group of 18 people who knew they are donor-conceived siblings. They are part of a larger group of up to 1000 people who share the same sperm donor father but the only ones in contact with each other; it is likely that many of the uncontacted siblings are unaware of their biological father, have been unable to trace others or have died. The discussion explored views about how the group would like to be involved in future research. Five members participated in co-design; 12 completed a pre-discussion online survey; and six participated in an online discussion forum and evaluation survey. The online discussion was led by one facilitator, supported by the study team. Results Of the 18 siblings approached in 2018, 14 participated in the co-design stages or the surveys and online discussion. Co-design informed the research process. Participants reported enjoying the overall experience of the surveys and discussion forum, which were perceived as inclusive and flexible. Most participants’ views regarding the value of involvement in research changed during the process, and ‘widened’ about who should be involved. Participants were supportive of future research being done with the siblings group. All who completed the final survey requested to remain part of the co-design process. Other themes in the online discussion included concerns about conflicting interests and a desire for research participation to improve the situation for people affected by assisted conception. The process informed later discussions in the sibling group about participating in a self-managed biobank and informed decision making about participating in genomics research. Conclusion Findings from this study help inform ways in which people from certain sub-populations can be involved in planning and defining their participation in genomic research, particularly those that are inherently high interest to medical research and thus at greater risk of exploitation. This process provides a replicable method of involving potential participants in co-designing genomics research using online discussions, with positive outcomes. Reporting this study using ‘Standardised data on initiatives (STARDIT)’ to report the process allows comparison with other studies.

The ability of space plasmas to self-regulate through mechanisms involving self-generated fluctuations is a topic of high interest. This paper presents the results of a new advanced quasilinear (QL) approach for the instability of electromagnetic ion-cyclotron modes driven by the relative alpha-proton drift observed in solar wind. For an extended parametric analysis, the present QL approach includes also the effects of intrinsic anisotropic temperatures of these populations. The enhanced fluctuations contribute to an exchange of energy between proton and alpha particles, leading to important variations of the anisotropies, the proton-alpha drift and the temperature contrast. The results presented here can help understand the observational data, in particular, those revealing the local variations associated with the properties of protons and alpha particles as well as the spatial profiles in the expanding solar wind.

Abstract The sediment evacuation from the reservoir should be carried out when it disturbs the dam development’s functional design. There are issues regarding the objection to releasing sediment from the reservoir, especially related to potential environmental degradation of the river downstream. The sediment source entering the reservoirs is considerably variable, depending upon the catchment characteristics and the hydrological triggers. When limiting the erosion yield and controlling the sediment in the catchment, evacuating sediment from the reservoir could be the only alternative to avoid environmental degradation. Several issues showed that sediment evacuation from reservoirs is a cost-effective solution. Therefore, assessing the efficiency of sediment evacuation from a reservoir through flushing has become of high interest. This paper presents the analysis of the flushing efficiency performance of the flushing operation of Wlingi and Lodoyo Reservoir that was carried out on 10-17 March 2019. The flushing efficiencies are found to be 0.005 and 0.003 for Wlingi and Lodoyo Reservoirs, respectively. These figures are lower than that of Mrica Reservoir and other world reservoirs at higher than 0.1. Further analysis suggests the critical timing of the sediment evacuation schedule considering the inflow condition.
