Background : In 2018, Lombok had earthquake for about 3 weeks which killed a lot of victims, disaster and make people become refugees. Disaster makes stress and trauma for victims that need to adapt with new environment to fulfill their basic needs especially balanced nutrition. This research is aimed at identifying the correlation between the pattern of adaptation of parent’s post disaster role and the fulfillment of balanced nutrition of toddlers.Method : This research is designed as correlational study with Cross-sectional approach. The samples were 89 respondents selected through proportional random sampling technique. The data were collected using 2 types of questionnaires distributes to women with toddlers.Result : The research showed that of 89 respondents, 63 respondents (70.2%) had the adaptive role, 26 of them (29.2%) had ineffective role. In relation to balanced nutrition, it is 67 respondents (75.2%) that fulfill the balanced nutrition. Statistic test of spearmen rank’s correlation showed that (rho) value < 0.05 (0.00<0.05) which means that Ha is accepted. The correlation value is 0.584 meaning that there is strong and positive correlation.Conclution : It is inferred that there is correlation between the pattern of adaptation of parent’s post disaster role and the fulfillment of balanced nutrition of toddlers in Jenggala.

This study aimed to determine sense of coherence and its relationship with self-construal in parents of children with cancer in southeastern Iran. In this descriptive correlational study, 127 parents of children with cancer were studied using sense of coherence scale (SOC) and self-construal scale (SCS) in Iran. The results of the study showed that total mean score of SOC was 51.4 ± 14.2 and the interdependent self-construal (INT) in parents was higher than independent self-construal (IND). Also, the relationship between SOC and SCS showed that IND had a positive and statistically significant relationship with SOC manageability subscale. The weak SOC in the studied parents can cause more stress and suffering in dealing with their child’s disease. It is essential that health care providers provide a comprehensive program to enhance parents’ SOC and it should be noted that people who have a more INT felt less able to manage challenging situations.

This study was undertaken to (i) identify the relationship among personality traits, self-esteem and desire for fame and (ii) to explore the relationship of personality traits and self-esteem in prediction of desire for fame in TikTok makers. The sample was recruited through the snowball technique and consisted of 200 TikTok makers of Pakistan. The following internationally standardized scales were used: The Big Five Inventory, The Rosenberg Self-esteem Scale (1965) and The Desire for Fame Scale. A significant positive correlation was found between (1) openness, (2) extroversion, (3) agreeableness, (4) conscientiousness, (5) self-esteem and (6) desire for fame. Additionally, neuroticism correlated negatively with the six mentioned variables; and self-esteem significantly predicted desire for fame. Females scored higher in extroversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness and self-esteem; whereas males scored higher in neuroticism. Also, higher levels of self-esteem and desire for fame were found in those who had increased frequency of making TikTok videos and those who belonged to big cities. In conclusion, personality traits, self-esteem and desire for fame significantly correlate with each other in TikTok makers. Researchers, social media activists, students, psychologists, and counselors can benefit from the findings of study. Keywords: Personality Traits, Self-esteem, Desire for Fame, TikTok Makers.

Background. Algo is an integrated knowledge translation (IKT)-based algorithm for supporting occupational therapists (OTs) with skill mix for selecting bathing equipment. While IKT approaches are increasingly valued in implementation science, their benefits with respect to the utilization of knowledge in clinical settings are scarcely documented. Purpose. To identify Algo's level of utilization and the characteristics associated with its level of utilization. Method. A cross-sectional correlational study was conducted with OTs working in homecare services (HCS) through an online survey based on Knott and Wildavsky's classification and the Promoting Action on Research Implementation in Health Services ( PARIHS) framework. Findings. Almost half (48%) of the OTs surveyed (n = 125; participation rate: 16%) reached one of the seven levels of utilization. While Evidence characteristics are perceived as facilitators to its utilization, Context statements indicate an unfavorable organizational climate to the implementation of change. Implications. Strategies should target additional stakeholders (e.g., HCS managers) and organizational adjustments in HCS to sustain Algo's utilization.

COVID-19 is a highly contagious disease that affects not only physical health, but also mental well-being. Two variables, which have been observed significantly in people facing difficult and complex situations that are also related to greater personal growth and satisfaction with life, are self-forgiveness and compassion for others. Thus, through a correlational study, we set out to examine how self-forgiveness and compassion are associated with personal growth and life satisfaction in this complicated situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. In a sample of Spanish participants (N = 329, range from 18 to 83 years), the main results showed that self-forgiveness and compassion were positively related to personal growth and life satisfaction and that self-forgiveness was associated with increased personal growth and life satisfaction through compassion. Ultimately, these findings and their possible implications for therapeutic practice are discussed.

Abstract Over recent decades much research has analyzed the relevance of 9- to 20- month-old infants’ early imitation skills (object- and language-based imitation) for language development. Yet there have been few systematic comparisons of the joint relevance of these imitative behaviors later on in development. This correlational study investigated whether multimodal imitation (gestural, prosodic, and lexical components) and object-based imitation are related to narratives and sociopragmatics in preschoolers. Thirty-one typically developing 3- to 4-year-old children performed four tasks to assess multimodal imitation, object-based imitation, narrative abilities, and sociopragmatic abilities. Results revealed that both narrative and sociopragmatic skills were significantly related to multimodal imitation, but not to object-based imitation, indicating that preschoolers’ ability to imitate socially relevant multimodal cues is strongly related to language and sociocommunicative skills. Therefore, this evidence supports a broader conceptualization of imitation behaviors in the field of language development that systematically integrates prosodic, gestural, and verbal linguistic patterns.

A Descriptive correlational study was conducted to identify the therapeutic communication and patient satisfaction among patients admitted in Medical, surgical and orthopedic wards. The study was conducted at Dr.D.Y.Patil Hospital, Kolhapur among 100 admitted patients who were selected by Simple random sampling technique. The study concluded that correlation was calculated by Karl Pearson’s Coefficient correlation which was r=0.76 value was greater than 0 & lesser than 1(0>1)which indicated that the there was moderate positive correlation between therapeutic communication and patient satisfaction. Therefore the findings revealed that if there is good therapeutic communication there would be increase in patient satisfaction.
