This research aims to (i) find out the level of student read literacy in Introduction of Accounting of class X Accounting at SMK Negeri 3 bandung (ii) to know the level of learning effectiveness Introduction of Accounting of class X Accounting at SMK Negeri 3 bandung (iii) knowing the magnitude of the influence of students' reading literacy levels on the effectiveness of learning in Introduction of Accounting of class X Accounting at SMK Negeri 3 bandung. In this study the authors used quantitative approach methods using survey research methods, with a population of 30. To seek influence, The data analysis used is a simple linear regression analysis using IBM SPSS Statistics Version 24.0,descriptive analysis ofreading literacy level with a weight of 37.97 and an average value of 3.80, and theeffectiveness of learning with a sum weight of 40.03 and an average value of 4.00, on a simple linear regression test there is a regression coefficient value obtained is 0.580, and the determination coefficient valueis obtained the number R (correlation coefficient) or the relationship number between variable X to variable Y of 0.557 or 55.7%. The amount of contribution made by the variable level of reading literacy can be seen from the number in R Square which is 0.310 which means that the level of reading literacy affects the effectiveness of learning by 31.0%. While the other 69.0% was influenced by other factors outside of the research conducted.

This study aims to examine whether the attitudes towards distance education have a mediating role in the effect of academicians’ digital literacy levels on their satisfaction with distance education during the COVID-19 pandemic. The data were collected from 341 academicians who teach distance education courses at Inonu University. The academicians’ satisfaction with distance education which is the dependent variable of the study, consisted of two factors. These factors are satisfaction with the teaching of the course and satisfaction with the infrastructure. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that the attitude towards distance education has a complete mediation role in the effect of digital literacy level on satisfaction with the teaching of the course in distance education, and that the attitude towards distance education has a partial mediation role in the effect of digital literacy level on satisfaction with the infrastructure.

Abstract This study investigated the relationship between socio-economic status, age, gender, and literacy level and Haitian Gonâviens‘ attitudes towards Haitian Creole or Kreyòl and French. Most studies that investigated language attitudes of Creolophones have found that they have negative attitudes towards Kreyòl. Nevertheless, previous studies often included participants who are affiliated with education such as students, teachers, and language policy makers, or those from higher social classes. The current study, however, utilized a language attitudes questionnaire to collect data from 78 adult informants from diverse backgrounds. These participants included 21 highly literate, 51 partially literate and 6 illiterate Haitians. Findings revealed that participants of higher socio-economic status have more positive attitudes towards French than those from lower socio-economic status. Results also showed that there is a tendency for age, gender, and literacy level to affect language attitudes. For instance, positive attitudes towards Kreyòl were found to be more prevalent among older participants than younger respondents. Similarly, male participants had more negative attitudes towards French than female informants. Moreover, respondents of lower literacy levels had more negative attitudes towards French than those who were highly literate.

Based on the data from Chinese Family Panel Studies (CFPS), this study uses the Tobit model to empirically analyze the influence of financial literacy on family cultural consumption. This study found that the average financial literacy level of Chinese residents is still relatively low. The improvement of their financial literacy would help enhance the household cultural consumption expenditure. From this study, it is recommended that there should be an improvement in the cultural consumption of Chinese families and their quality of life by targeting financial education, raising the income level of residents, and stimulating the residents’ cultural consumption willingness.

Objective. To systematically evaluate the effects of health literacy intervention on health literacy level and glycolipid metabolism of people with diabetes in mainland China. Methods. A systematic review of journal articles discussing diabetes and health literacy was performed by searching PubMed, Embase, the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE) database of Web of Science, the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) database, the Chinese Scientific and Technical Journals database (CQVIP), and the Wanfang database. Cochrane Effective Practice and Organization of Care Review Group (EPOC) standards were applied for quality assessment. A meta-analysis was performed using Stata 12.0 software. Results. A total of 44 articles, including seven controlled before-and-after trials (CBAs), 27 randomized controlled trials (RCTs), and 10 nonrandomized controlled trials (non-RCTs), were included. The results showed that (1) health literacy level in the intervention group was improved compared with the preintervention and the control group; (2) fasting plasma glucose (FPG) (standardized mean difference SMD = − 1.85 , 95% CI: −2.28, −1.42), 2-hour plasma glucose (2hPG) ( SMD = − 2.18 , 95% CI: −2.68, −1.68), and HbA1c (weighted mean difference WMD = − 1.21 , 95% CI: −1.48, −0.94) were significantly reduced in the intervention group; (3) total cholesterol (TC) ( WMD = − 0.43 , 95% CI: −0.64, −0.23) was significantly reduced in the intervention group, although there were no statistically significant differences for triglycerides (TG) ( WMD = − 0.34 , 95% CI: −0.73, 0.05), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) ( WMD = − 0.20 , 95% CI: −0.46, 0.07), or high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) ( WMD = − 0.06 , 95% CI: −0.29, 0.17). Conclusion. Intervention based on health literacy can effectively improve health literacy levels and reduce glucose metabolism and TC level among people with diabetes mellitus, although it has no significant effect on TG, LDL-C, or HDL-C.

Financial literacy is the level of financial knowledge, attitude and behavior that enables individuals to manage their income, expenses and assets in a way that does not cause financial problems both today and in the future. As individuals' financial literacy levels increase, unnecessary consumption and waste of resources will decrease and the efficiency of investments will increase. Increasing the level of financial literacy will ensure a more balanced formation of asset prices in financial markets and prevent the formation of price bubbles in the markets. Today, financial markets around the world are almost integrated, financial transactions have become possible quickly through portable electronic devices. In this environment, the difference in welfare between individuals and societies with financial literacy and individuals and societies without financial literacy has increased more than in any other period in history. This study, it is aimed to measure the financial literacy level of the students of Hitit University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences located in the province of Çorum. The data of the study were obtained from a questionnaire with the participation of 400 students studying in 5 different departments. By using the percentages of the correct answers given to the questions, success scores were created based on departments. With the help of the T-test and ANOVA tests, the relationship between students' financial literacy and whether they use department, gender, class, and credit card was determined. As a result of the study, it was determined that there are significant relationships between the departments and classes in which students study and their financial literacy, and no significant relationships were found between their credit card and internet banking usage and gender and financial literacy.

Nowadays, the health level of residents has become the focus of people’s attention. Under the background of the development of health service from “disease-centered” to “health-centered,” it is very important to improve the level of urban health and clarify the factors affecting urban health. Therefore, this paper quantifies the relationship between residents’ health literacy level and environment, average life expectancy, infectious disease mortality, and other indicators by selecting appropriate indicators and establishing a mathematical model. Based on the reciprocal linear combination of the collected index data and the corresponding health level value, the prediction model of social health literacy level (SPM) was established, and the qualitative prediction and quantitative analysis of citizens’ health literacy level were studied in depth. Based on the SPM model, we can roughly predict the level of health literacy in a region only based on the main variables identified in this paper. The consistency of the experiment shows that the model is effective and robust, and it reveals that environmental factors are the most important factors affecting residents’ health literacy level. The actual data show that THE SPM model is a timely and reasonable framework to measure the health literacy level of residents.
