Economic development in today is very fast, this can be seen from the changes that are happening now, these changes are the impact of economic globalization which is none other than trade liberalization and free market economic investment, as a result of that free market is likely to occur competition free tight, so the strong party and high purchasing power will dominate the market and become a winner in the competition and vice versa, the weak party with low purchasing power will automatically be excluded from the scope of competition and will be a passive audience in trading. From the ratio analysis of financial statements. KPRI  can be seen in comparing the number of assets with the ability to meet short-term obligations turned out to be less good because it is still far from industry standards, and in the ability to pay all financial obligations both short-term and long-term are also still liquid, but in obtaining income net every year, in 2016-2020 KPRI was considered able to obtain high profits. Because in each year the income earned is increasing. And in generating a net profit KPRI is considered sufficient because it is measured by its effectiveness in investing its capital throughout all assets. Based on the results of KPRI performance measurements using the concept of ratio analysis of financial statements that have been carried out, it results in a satisfactory total performance measurement. Strategic planning that has been made is carried out to the fullest so that the cooperative's performance is in accordance with the vision and mission of KPRI.

PurposeKarl Marx's social capital reproduction theory is his significant contribution to economics. The purpose of this paper is to review the contributions of the exploration of Chinese economists (especially Professor Liu Guoguang) in the concretization of Marx’s social capital reproduction theory combined with socialist construction since 1949.Design/methodology/approachDuring this process, Professor Liu Guoguang, a famous Chinese Marxist economist, has made an outstanding contribution by creating a Marxist social capital reproduction model with Chinese characteristics and a distinctive Marxist economic growth model. Professor Liu's exploration is still of crucial practical significance to building a socialist market economy today.FindingsThe process and achievements in the sinicization exploration of Marx's social capital reproduction theory were reviewed. With the reform and opening up, fundamental changes have occurred in China's economic system – the centralized planned economic system has been transformed into a socialist market economic system.Originality/valueThe planned management of the national economy is replaced by a macro-regulation system characterized by gross control gradually, and the concepts of agriculture, light industry, and heavy industry, and their intercorrelation are no longer applied in theory and policy. However, the sinicization exploration of Marx's social capital reproduction theory in the older generation of Marxist economists represented by Liu is not only of historical significance but also of important practical significance.

To enhance domestic energy security and reduce air pollution, China has accelerated the deployment of alternative fuel vehicles including methanol vehicles since the 2010s. Already completed pilot projects have demonstrated that methanol vehicles (commercial fleet) are economical, environmentally friendly, and technically mature. Therefore, the Chinese government aims to continually deploy methanol vehicles in coal-rich provinces. There are more than 20,000 methanol taxis in operation in China, it is important to evaluate the existing consumer acceptance of such commercial fleet before commercialization in a wider range. This paper proposes a conceptual model to identify consumer acceptance of methanol taxis. The model generates hypotheses that have been tested using surveys completed by taxi drivers of methanol vehicles in the cities of Xi’an (Shaanxi province) and Guiyang (Guizhou province). Results demonstrate that market, economic, and technological concerns strongly determine the consumer acceptance of the commercial fleet of methanol vehicles in China.

Recent years have seen recurrent calls for bridging the “gap” between the worlds of policy-makers, practitioners, and academic scholars concerned with forced migration and humanitarian aid. This has resulted in growing partnerships between international organisations, governments, businesses, foundations, and universities with the aim of harnessing market economic thinking to create new practice-oriented knowledge rather than out-of-touch theories. This intervention responds critically to these developments and questions the seemingly common-sense logic behind attempts to forge ever closer collaborations across institutional lines. Rather than benefitting displaced communities, bridging divides has often served as a way of consolidating the hegemony of humanitarian actors and inadvertently delegitimized more critical scholarship. Scholars in refugee and forced migration studies have hereby been engulfed in a tightening “humanitarian embrace”. This paper argues that in order to fulfil a scholarly commitment to social justice, anti-violence and pro-asylum politics, it is time to again demarcate the boundaries between the practices and institutions that reproduce humanitarian power and their critics.

Subject. The article addresses the strengthening of economic sovereignty as a pressing challenge of modern Russia. Objectives. The aim is to consider the possibility of strengthening Russia's economic sovereignty by reconstructing the two-system harmony of its economy, which was completely destroyed in the 20th century. Methods. I developed a conception about the order of human existence that enabled to lay a foundation for nomology, an explanatory-prognosticative science about the ordering of human being (intermediate between social philosophy and some social and humane sciences). According to the conception, which rests on works by K.R.E. Hartmann on social philosophy and by C.G. Jung on social psychology, the present and future of human being is organized (reproduced and renewed) by the reflection of all past being in the social historical memory, both conscious and subconscious. This conception allows to find some historically adjusted balance between subjective wishes and objective opportunities, when defensing Russia’s national interests. Results. The paper considers deep psychosocial foundations of economic activity, proves that the society tends to harmony of egoism and altruism, shows that the sociopsychic two-code synthetical character of any activity of the society, as applied to the economic activity of an organized and managed society, generates a natural synthetization of planned and free market economic activity. Conclusions. Economic sovereignty can be strengthened by recreating the two-system harmony of Russia’s economy. I substantiate the main economic and management measures to be taken to recreate the planned economic system in addition to the free market economic system.

Purpose: The main aim of this paper is to verify how frequently issuers from the WSE issue current reports informing about the impairment of assets. The author believes that in the first months of the Covid-19 pandemic, one of the external premises for a decrease in the value of assets began to occur, i.e., market, economic or legal changes. Methodology/approach: Content analysis of current reports was used. The analysis period was divided into two sub-periods, 2013–2018 and 2020, when it was likely there was an increase in the submission of the abovementioned reports by issuers. The results were verified using the ANOVA test. Findings: Analyzing the issuers' reports in 2020, 77 cases were found where investors were informed about the impairment of assets. The number of current reports about the im-pairment of assets is much greater than in the period 2013–2018 (163 cases). The X2 statistic allowed us to indicate the statistical significance of the difference of the cases recorded in 2020 from the average values of the previous years. Originality/value: This article discusses the issues of assets impairment during the eco-nomic downturn caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. The increased frequency of reporting write-offs allows us to conclude that entities are afraid of the long-term effects of the pan-demic. Therefore, they decide to revise the recoverable amount of assets in line with the „prudent valuation” principle.

The research addresses the essence and outcomes of the convergence between national accounting and reporting systems (NARS) influenced by international financial reporting standards (IFRS). The aim of the study is to identify and examine the main elements of this process and its peculiarities in Russia; to highlight and evaluate the consequences of such convergence; to determine the areas for improving the effectiveness of NARS taking into consideration its current state. The methodology is based on the use of general scientific methods of theoretical and empirical research, including expert assessments and comparative analysis which allows to evaluate the changes observed in NARS. The findings help summarize and analize the organizational aspects of NARS elements transformation in the process of convergence under IFRS impact, including imbalances both in the NARS itself and in the relation between the NARS elements and other systems underlying the national market economic structure. The analysis concludes with an assessment of its effect on the NARS. The results will be of interest to specialists in the field of accounting and reporting as well as to regulatory agencies that implement state interests in this area.
