In oceanography, as in any scientific field, the goal is not to eliminate uncertainty in data, but instead to better quantify and clearly communicate its size and nature.

AbstractFault detection and diagnosis (FDD) technology is a scientific field emerged in the middle of the twentieth century with the rapid development of science and data technology. It manifests itself as the accurate sensing of abnormalities in the manufacturing process, or the health monitoring of equipment, sites, or machinery in a specific operating site. FDD includes abnormality monitoring, abnormal cause identification, and root cause location.

Optimizing social work crime for convicted corruption is interpreted as an effort to provide positive value to the community in addition to reducing the burden on the state, both the burden of costs incurred by the state in fostering convicts and the burden of coaching, because the convicted person has more specific competencies both in the scientific field, authority as well as in other fields compared to the competency of the guiding apparatus without intending to play down the capabilities of the coaching apparatus, besides the security burden that must be carried out by the state, because given the provision of criminal work, the obligation to carry out criminal offenses is transferred to convicts not to the state , and the benefits felt not only for the country but also for the people ,because the competency of the perpetrators can be useful, and it becomes a legal effort in actualizing local wisdom, because the sanctions applied are more concentrated on the needs of the community and community-based coaching, and prison is no longer the only coaching institution for perpetrators of corruption, so It is expected that the recommendations for the renewal of the Criminal Code and the Corruption Law can achieve the goal of punishment, namely providing deterrence for perpetrators and also providing positive benefits for the community while reducing the burden on the state.

Some pertinent questions in the practice of science is to know what one is researching, with whom and where. These questions are even more crucial for those involved in High Dilution studies, an emergent and multidisciplinary scientific field, where concepts, methods and models are still to be validated. In this research field, such questions can be addressed through networks because communication between peers accelerates the process of conceiving and refining the concepts, methodologies and standards that give consistency to emergent knowledge. A thematic network can be effective in building an identity for the science of HDs and related community. This article introduces the project ReNPAD (National Network of Researchers in High Dilutions), a Brazilian initiative aiming to put together researchers involved in studies in HDs in order to stimulate interaction and give visibility to the theirs efforts.

The article discusses the basic guidelines for writing titles of articles intended for publication in scientific journals. The relevance of the topic touched upon in this article is due to the fact that currently teachers are faced with the need to train master degree students at both linguistic and non-linguistic faculties to write scientific articles in English. The title is a very important part of the article, since it presents in a concise form the main information about the content of the publication. A well-formulated title can interest the reader and make him or her eager to read the article. On the contrary, titles which are too complicated to understand, cumbersome, and vague are unlikely to attract attention and arouse the interest of a potential reader. The aim of the study is to provide an overview of guidelines for writing titles that can be found in the English-language literature. The author also analyzes the typical mistakes that Russian-speaking authors make when writing titles of articles in English. Research methods include analysis, description, observation, comparison. The results of the study showed that the most common causes of errors in the formulation of titles are linguistic interference and ignorance of the peculiarities of the English-speaking communicative culture related to written communication in the scientific field. It is concluded that the course «Written academic communication in English» should be included in the Master course program, which will familiarize students with the main features of scientific articles in English and teach future authors to correctly formulate the titles of their publications.

The teaching methodology of geography is a relatively young scientific discipline within the scientific field of geography, that has only been experiencing its full scientific affirmation in the last few decades. In the early years, scholarly production focused on works that primarily dealt with geography education, but further development of the discipline showed a tendency to single out educational geography as a distinct scholarly entity and branch within the field. Given the aforementioned, there is a need to recapitulate scientific production and the most important findings of this geographical scientific discipline from the last fifty years. A review of scientific and scientific-expert papers on the teaching methodology of geography and educational geography indicates a thematic and methodological paradigm shift toward covering topics and objects of research significantly wider than those covered in the classroom and during geography lessons. The noticeable changes in the prevailing scientific interest in the curriculum and organization of teaching according to human resources research, the organization of education in certain areas and student achievement indicate a continuous and stable development.

Living organisms use a large repertoire of anabolic and catabolic reactions to maintain their physiological body functions, many of which include oxidation and reduction of substrates. The scientific field of redox biology tries to understand how redox homeostasis is regulated and maintained and which mechanisms are derailed in diverse pathological developments of diseases, where oxidative or reductive stress is an issue. The term “oxidative stress” is defined as an imbalance between the generation of oxidants and the local antioxidative defense. Key mediators of oxidative stress are reactive species derived from oxygen, nitrogen, and sulfur that are signal factors at physiological concentrations but can damage cellular macromolecules when they accumulate. However, therapeutical targeting of oxidative stress in disease has proven more difficult than previously expected. Major reasons for this are the very delicate cellular redox systems that differ in the subcellular compartments with regard to their concentrations and depending on the physiological or pathological status of cells and organelles (i.e., circadian rhythm, cell cycle, metabolic need, disease stadium). As reactive species are used as signaling molecules, non-targeted broad-spectrum antioxidants in many cases will fail their therapeutic aim. Precision medicine is called to remedy the situation.

The CQ algorithm is widely used in the scientific field and has a significant impact on phase retrieval, medical image reconstruction, signal processing, etc. Moudafi proposed an alternating CQ algorithm to solve the split equality problem, but he only obtained the result of weak convergence. The work of this paper is to improve his algorithm so that the generated iterative sequence can converge strongly.

This research aims to analyze the academic field of knowledge production on the theme of sport migration, highlighting the main authors, institutions, and countries of origin of the knowledge produced. For this, a systematic review was used in three key international databases. A total of 190 manuscripts were identified that dealt with the theme, and it was observed that the rate of knowledge production increased after the 1990s. It was also determined that the theme received important contributions from authors linked to UK institutions. It was concluded that the scientific field of the theme of sport migration has a centrality in English-speaking nations and European countries and could benefit from greater attention being paid to the knowledge output from peripheral countries or researchers from these locations.
