Abstract: The beginnings of corporal expression have been and are being analyzed from different perspectives. This work has attempted to delve into the beginnings that occurred throughout the 20th century, when this emerging discipline was nourished by multiple sources: society, arts, education, psychology, etc. Patricia Stokoe (1919-1996), devoted her life to the study of body language-dance. Considered one of the initiators in this field (Kalmar, 2005; Cardona, 2009; Ruano & Sánchez, 2009), her work continues to be a reference nowadays and it is present in a large part of the scientific production generated in this discipline. It is in the research by Cardona (2009), who carried out a doctoral thesis, where the study of the life and work of the author has been deepened. We present here how this qualitative research was carried out. A cross-sectional descriptive treatment was carried out, using the analysis of documents and interviews. We conducted more than thirty interviews between Buenos Aires and Spain, establishing 4 dimensions / fields that provided structure and clarity to the study: life analysis; analysis of the influences on life and work; analysis of the work; bibliographic essay of the work. We obtained results that make the life and work of Patricia Stokoe one of the pioneers in the construction and genesis of corporal expression.

In the literature, psychomotor skills are considered as a complex function, an aptitude that integrates both aspects of motor activity and manifestations of perceptual functions. The evolution of the psychomotor behaviors of each individual develops depending on his aptitude, the degree of physical and intellectual development and the educational influences to which he was subjected throughout childhood. Psychomotor skills, as a complex function that determines the regulation of human behavior, include the participation of various processes and psychic functions that ensure both the reception of information and the proper execution of motor response acts. Psychomotor skills make possible pragmatic adaptation (learning professional, manual, intellectual techniques), social adaptation (ways of interpersonal communication), aesthetic adaptation (body expression techniques), educational adaptation, through its basic components.

Abstract. The conception of the body has not been the same throughout history, it has been constantly changing and transformed due to the primary needs of the human being, this in turn has been establishing a paradigm for survival in society. In recent years, Physical Education contributes significantly to the formation of the whole holistic being, instead of the sportsmanship mentality. The objective of this research is to investigate the educational trends in corporeity for the development of an ethical and formal society through motor theories. The methodology used was a documentary-bibliographic review which included articles indexed in databases such as Scopus, Dialnet, Sport Discus, WoS, EBSCO, Redalyc, among others, between the years 2005-2019. As the main finding, it was possible to show that the impact of motor skills and the formation of body expression in the teaching role plays a determining role in the life cycle of human beings, since it directly influences both motor development, as in the epistemic conception of the body concept, generating motor consciousness in human beings. As the main conclusion, it is determined that body training in all stages of life is essential for an integral development in people.

Abstract: Physical Education does not always deal with Body Expression. Among the causes for this are lack of teacher training, difficult delivery of unusual content, ignorance or previous bad experiences. This article aims to analyze the different topics included in the subject of Artistic-Expressive Physical Activities in the Mention of Physical Education Teaching Degree in the University of Burgos. It intends to show which contents are more educational, which are more difficult to teach in Primary School and which have generated more positive experiences. A mixed methodology is used with an ad hoc questionnaire and the analysis of student diaries. After analysis of the results, it is observed that students generally value these contents as very educational, they are not excessively difficult and generate positive experiences. Some key aspects for the assessment of the content are the ability to avoid blockage and improve student confidence, gender and the need for materials.

Abstract. The Tactical Periodization (PT) methodology expresses, in general, that the Specific context, with a capital E, in which the player is involved, serves as an artificial uterus for creative and effective tactical actions. For these reasons, this essay aimed to carry out a critical reflection on the creativity and effectiveness of body expressions in soccer training and games according to the scientific paradigms emerging in the 20th century such as the paradigm of systems, chaos, fractals and dissipative structures. This critical essay was governed by two documents: the work of Paulo Cunha e Silva (2000) entitled «The unpredictability of the Review: Causality, Casuality and Chaosality», used to justify the considerations referred to by Vitor Frade (2010) in the document entitled «Last Song «on the Tactical Periodization (PT) methodology as a catalyst for this creative and effective body in football. Methods: a narrative review of these documents was carried out in order to link their statements about the body, creativity, effectiveness, training and soccer game. Development: in view of the exposure of the content covered by the aforementioned works, the importance of the specificity of the training defended by the PT methodology was pointed out, to nurture, in a given previous intentionality, creative bodily actions in chaos, ie, chaotic and deterministic conditions . Comments: the PT methodology is supported, based on several critical assertions to the classic scientific paradigms, as a counterpoint in terms of football training methodology to the closed body expression model as previously applied. In this sense, it is essential to consider the gesturality of the football player’s body, in its ecological context, as more conducive to creativity and, consequently, more effective.

Body expression can enhance movement creativity and at the same time promote the growth of creative intelligence in college age. The aim of this study was to analyze the influence of an intervention in body expression classes on the creative intelligence of university students. The 49 participants aged 19 to 38 years engaged in the body expression course for seven weeks, 3 h per week. The Creative Intelligence test (CREA) was applied as an evaluative method to obtain the initial data and after the intervention the test was reapplied. Pre- and post-test results were analyzed and compared by gender and type of sporting background (team or individual sports). The results indicate an overall improvement in creative intelligence with a significant difference between the two evaluations (p < 0.001). Women started with a higher score than men, and although an improvement in their final mean score could be observed, it was not significant. Men, on the other hand, had noted a significant increase (p < 0.001) of these values in the post-test. Regarding the type of sports, at the beginning of the study, both groups had similar results; however, in the final test, the team sports players obtained better scores. In conclusion, body expression, thanks to its content focused on artistic-creative development, has been shown to be useful in the general progression of creative intelligence in college age.
